The overall experience was good. Although I did the a walk through to make sure everything was good at the time it seemed that way. However it was after moving in did we find a few flaws. One example is he upstairs bathroom toilet does not work properly since we moved in. So basically we don't use that bathroom until we can get it fixed even though it never worked in the first place.

Overall it’s house for the price, construction was good, I definitely recommend Dan Ryan builder. Cons: After closing( with in 10 days) I asked site Manager to fix minor issues(cracks on wall, small paint issues) he said he won’t fix after closing

Slaws process was great. The project manager for building required a lot of follow up on our part. The construction seems of good quality, but the finish work leaves something to be desired.

Fallon was our sales lady and Chris was our project manager. They where both amazing and I’m so happy they did our house

The craftsmanship could have been better and the response to issue could be faster.

Overall I love my Dan Ryan home. It is perfect for my little family. However, I am extremely disappointed with the lack of responsiveness from the project manager or our home. We were told after move in, to reach out to him during our first month if there were things that needed to be fixed. We did as we were told and after MANY unanswered emails, I had to reach out to the selling agent to make things happen. It was well over a month before I could get our project manager into our home. During that meeting, I was told I would be cc’d on the emails to the specific people in charge of the problems in my home. That was well over a month ago and I’ve heard nothing. Well the seals in the shower were coming apart and I upgraded to the spa package. The light switch in the kitchen was not installed right one switch was not even mounted to the wall. If you don't pay for the premium you will get the bare basic which is really cheap

Warranty team does not help or provide help with any issues.

Overall home was ok, workmanship could be improved.

Nothing stands out as special. Labor used is marginal. ie: plumbing, trim work, painting etc.

The process was extremely long. Lack of consistent communication during the delay. Issues with fire place that was eventually resolved after extensive back and forth communication. Overall I rate my experience on a new build fair.

Sales team works with only 1 buyer realtor. There is collusion. I bought a house and moved in but never met sales team even once.

Had to add $70K to get the quality of house we wanted from the base model. May have something to do with the Pandemic but the quality of the workmanship was the worse I have ever seen after building three homes over the years. Instead of having a new home that needs nothing for at least several years, I have a house that already has issues of poor workmanship, patchwork paint, wavy walls, squeaky floors, etc. The house (even after adding all the options) was less expensive than competitors, however, I would consider a higher quality builder in the future.

Wish I would have had an better experience but didn’t. A lot of things can be better.

Design center was great and I love the house now that it’s finished. The building process was not made easy at all. On closing day, our house was still being worked on.

Lots of the work is contracted out . I would suggest visiting daily to point out issues in the process. They are good with following up, you just have to put the warranty calls in

Overall the house was built to my satisfaction, but there are issues I was no able to ignore. In short attention to detail was not there like where the wall meets the ceiling is wavy, wall ends are crooked multiple parts of the house. Master Bathroom is stand in shower with a sit and sit holds watter. Misleading advertising and not mentioning the difference b/w model to house. Currently my master bathroom is unusable and I have no indication from the builder as to when it would be corrected/fixed. They never reach out to explain what the delay is. The initial walk thru was great but no one has resounded to my emails since closing 3 months ago.

The entire process was frustrating, no solid answers on where the house would be on the lot, what trees would be left ect. We felt rushed and pressured to make decisions quickly (prices going up). They are unwilling to change anything on the contract after 7 days, of course it would have been more money for them. The design center was a very underwhelming experience, very disappointed with that process, way out of date and the young lady working with us had zero personality, actually felt like we were bothering her. Sales rep was borderline rude at times. The project manager seemed to rely on the subcontractors for their own quality control. The house was completed 3 - 4 months after the initial projected completion date. The house was handed to us without being cleaned properly, dusty cabinets, dusty windows and blinds, paint on the floor in spots, the garage floor wasn't touched, paint, dust, plaster all over it. The yard had a lot of debris left under the sod. The seeding in the back lot was a joke as was the interior paint job. The house was not power washed either. Warranty has been good on correcting some items and very slow at others. Had to argue over a chipped counter that was clearly there in a pic before closing. At the end of the day we do like our house and we love the community however I DO NOT feel like a valued customer and I feel the builder took advantage of the current circumstances any way they could. ... Although it wasn’t a horrible experience it was not an amazing experience by a long shot. For me to be a first time home owner I expected this process to be nothing less than amazing. There was so many things that went wrong that could have been prevented if people knew how to do their job and communicate more effectively and efficiently. Overall I am reading my experience very average and would not recommend anyone to move forward with this company.

Project manager never returned my calls or texts to replace the missing screws in the dishwasher and to fix the hole in the closet ceiling. Some things were not fixed from the walk through.

This is our 5th home and 2nd new build that my husband and I have purchased. We are disappointed in the workmanship and quality of materials used. Specifically there is primer on the kitchen cupboards, floors and carpet. One of the kitchen cupboards is peeling in 3 spots. The bathtub has rust spots and is damaged. Kitchen window is stained. Granite has pulled away from the wall and when hanging curtains we noticed that the measurements of the windows are off. The baseboards are made of cardboard. The owners bathroom floor has a slice in the vinyl floor. In the other bathroom there is some a sticky residue on the floor and the counter is discolored. We are trusting that once we submit everything to the project manager that it will be taken care of and corrected. ... More

It's not a 6month in and we have called on to report several issues. Even the home feels cold when the heat is on. Currently just realised some defects and will be putting in a tickets.
