great home great value. I had a great property manager. The only thing is the time frame of when the house going to be done which is hard when building a new home

JB our construction manager was awesome !

The building team does a great job with the time they have but are rushed to complete the homes in very short timelines. This leads to a lot of oversite such as doors being hung incorrectly or missing flashing on the roof. The team is quick to come fix the problems but a lot of them are just oversight from the rushed timelines.

The process was a smooth one

I was surprised by the quality even though the price was competitive. Sales team shall notify if specific amenities are not available in the community. In our case, there was no trash pick up from the curb. We have to carry the trash to a dumpster.

During our home buying process our project manager was extremely responsive to e-mails, texts, phone calls, etc. He was more than happy to answer any questions that we had and responded to concerns during the home building experience and after. It is unfortunate that after we moved into the home, even after the blue tape walk through, there were numerous things that we noticed within the realm of below quality workmanship. For example, some of the corners were not measured correctly to form 90 degree angles with corners, there were two cracks in the shower after about 3 weeks of living in our home. I will say that the builder was very responsive with getting someone out to fix the problem with the shower walls. We unfortunately smelled smoke through our walls (and still do at times) and have heard sound from our neighbor. Our project manager gave us some advice, but it was ultimately up to us to talk to our neighbor. I am 100% satisfied with the communication but less than satisfied with the quality of workmanship and materials. ... More

I cannot complain...they did a decent job

The design center and post-build service we've gotten dealing with Dan Ryan has not been stellar. However, their build team and project management has been VERY good. Most of the build materials were also of good quality, with the exception of some small finishing items like MDF baseboards and lower quality interior door hardware that have already needed repair with only 4 months of occupancy. The overall experience has been positive, and the value we obtained for what we paid for the home to be built was excellent.

I like the design and location in Apex. The material is used pretty good. Only one thing I want to say the finess is missing in few area’s. Specially painting. I noticed flaws in painting. And the few moldings are not in proper angle. Few smart eyes can notice them. Rest over all good job

Had a few issues with workmanship but once i got in contact with dan Ryan they made sure to fix any issues. Would recommend

I bought my first house from Dan Ryan Builders in Raleigh in 2019. Overall, my experience with DRB was pleasant and I am pleased with my new home. There were a few issues throughout the pre-construction to closing phases; however, each issue was resolved in an efficient manner by the DRB team. I am especially thankful for my Construction Manager and Superintendent as both are friendly yet professional, hard working, and attentive to detail. Prior to the pre-drywall and final meetings I hired a private home inspector to come in after the builders and city home inspectors. In response to the private home inspector's two reports my Construction Manager and Superintendent texted me photos as the items in the private home inspector's reports were fixed. Even after closing, my Construction Manager and Superintendent made themselves available to fix a few minor issues that were not caught on the final meeting punch list. Overall we are generally satisfied with our new home. Any issues that we had, Dan Ryan addressed them in a timely manner

This was my first new construction townhome, and DRB made the process easy and exciting! We love our new home, and definitely made the right choice.

I think that they did a great job with building however afterwards customer service has not been that great.

It looks like they charge most cheapest contractors using cheapest materials.

Very helpful and informative

Dan Ryan has been a great experience so far. I have been in my home since the week of Thanksgiving 2020 and everything has been great so far. Small cracks in wall corners but nothing that major. Everything is pretty quiet in the house and all appliances are working just fine. I would love to see signs up or some kind of don't tresspass on property for neighbors and their dogs when they are coming to the side and front of my townhome. Overall it's been peaceful and great! There were some concerns with the quality of workmanship. We have had to reach out to the warranty company on a couple of occasions. I think attention to detail and maybe rushing contributed to the issues we had. Everyone has been nice and returned phones during the process it just took a little longer than expected for someone to come out.

Love my new beautiful home.

I liked my project manager Zach a lot. This is my second build with Day Ryan, and unfortunately I found the workmanship sloppy and lacking. My first house by Dan Ryan was "perfect". The workmanship was outstanding. This time I think they cheaped out on some of the materials, and I found that disappointing.
