Builder,was,very responsive to all,concerns. I was impressed ,with overall quality and on time completion. Both Trey and Tara kept us up to date on what was going on with the build. I would recommend this builder to anyone looking to build a new home.

The Drees team in Austin did a great job start to finish. From initial consultation through customization, choosing deco options, and construction, the communication and responsiveness was excellent. The builder / superintendent was the best we’ve ever worked with having built multiple homes over the years.

Wouldn’t purchase a Drees home again, overall bad experience. There are other builders where you can get more for your money and still have the same quality & craftsmanship.

we just built a custom home in Bryan and builder was pro-active asap on follow up every few days with resolution within 24 hours we are beyond disappointment on lack of contractors checking their work for the most part spent $860K and this house is not worth it especially the fact they just landscaped front yard over the clay and did not put any top soil/garden mix down to ensure establishing a healthy front yard

The deciding and buying process was very easy with Donna. Tyler, who was over the construction, made sure any small issues were addressed before we moved in and he finished weeks ahead of schedule. We cannot say enough about the great experience we had due to their efforts.

This is our 12th home. We came to Drees because of the quality product. We are very satisfied. From the point of sale to a few small issues that have popped up Drees have been responsive and has handled everything to our satisfaction. We would definitely buy from Drees again.

From start to finish, we had a positive experience. Sales and construction managers were responsive and kept us informed at all points in the process. Overall, the quality of the home feels solid. We haven't had any issues upon move-in. All of the issues that were found before we moved in were addressed and they even cleaned the house again upon request. I think other folks will like working with both the sales, constructions and warranty folks. Drees seems to be more modern in their approach to many aspects of buying, building, and servicing their homes.

We bought this home as a spec home for almost a million and while we like many of the design features the workmanship has been shoddy. We have had to make multiple requests for repair to many items. Most of the time we get no defined time for when repair will be made and the repair workers just show up. Often this happens at inconvenient moments for when people work at home. Our point of contact after closing for repairs either doesn’t respond or workers show up unannounced. We have had to have a couple of repairs fixed multiple times. It takes several requests to get issues fixed. Examples are: poor drainage in back yard, front door handle won’t latch properly, drawers stick, oven didn’t work for weeks with known issue, shower in master leaked despite repair and needed second repair. Items addressed at initial walk through not fixed before closing (still had tape in areas that needed to be fixed like obvious seam in carpet, etc). Workers just showing up at 7:30 at night unannounced. Too many items to fix for price of home. ... More

Overall it is a house. Other than that, the quality of the work and the materials used are sub par. You would expect at this price level that you wouldn't need to have a punch list a mile long. It is like the construction manager had no eyes. I had to point out issues as the home was being built and they still missed a great deal. They have no attention to detail.

DREES does a great job of informing you, but you need to do your homework too. Know WHEN you need to make WHAT decisions in the design process. With DREES we were able to customize design changes we wanted in our home (structural (rooms, windows, nooks), electrical, interior and exterior choices, and changes that would allow for potential future add-ons like adding a pool or solar panels. DREES as flexible and accommodating!!

Eventually you do end up with a really nice home, but manage your expectations of the process.

Overall sales rep and builder were supportive and made sure they had a good customer service mentality

We had to be on top all the design selections that are actually installed. Some items were missing after moving in and had to reach builder to remind installation. It was a bit of confusing communicating with builder directly so best bet is to call Drees customer services reps as they quickly address any issues after move-in. Overall , experience is great.

We had a great experience with Drees. Top notch communication and workmanship all the way from the sales team to our construction manager. All fantastic.

We had an absolutely amazing experience with Drees, Michael was an absolute rock star. He went above and beyond with giving us taking care of as it relates to everything connected to our new home. Would it be more happy and love this house!

Excellent leadership by Adam H. He managed the timelines optimally. He was responsive to our needs. He ensured that the punch list was proactively addressed and the materials met our requirements.

Cannot recommend this builder as would not want anybody to go thru what i had to deal with.

We were very impressed at our first few meetings with Drees Sales. Once we were into the process, from design center to closing, it was disappointing to say the least. The design process was a challenge all the way through, the build manager lied about items being completed when he wasn’t even on site or hadn’t been on site. The quality of work that was acceptable by the Drees team was disgusting. After repeated notifications items were still not completed. One driving factor was Drees wanted to close by a certain time rather than providing a home, that was to be our dream home. We conceded on hundreds of items, left to take care of on our own. Had a terrific construction manager in Brian. He kept us updated every week and was prompt in answering emailed questions. He considered our feedback and insights, and was very open to conversations about potential issues or concerns. The quality of workmanship is excellent and Drees subcontractors took excellent care to preserve the work of others. The sales and selection process was quick and very well planned. Drees made excellent suggestions to help us make the most of our plans.

Great experience all the way thru. Cory (Drees Agent) & Ryan (Project Manager) were both first class. Very friendly and polite. They were always on top of things and very knowledgeable. Very pleasant experience.

Very smooth process with Drees! Even though we never saw the floor plan in person, we knew it would be great quality and it is. We love our beautiful new home.
