We purchased a home in Caliterra with Drees, and overall the experience was very positive. From the initial purchase through the final move-in, the process was well managed and clear. Our sales representative, Ryan Pace, was outstanding. He was responsive, supportive, and genuinely cared about meeting our expectations throughout the process. The quality and value of the home have met our expectations, and we are happy with the design, finishes, and overall feel of the community. We’ve never built a brand new home, but dreamed of doing it one day. We didn’t anticipate that time coming with an out of state move. Drees was so pleasant to work with from beginning to end. We were initially concerned that we’d have to make permanent decisions from out of state, and that they wouldn’t turn out favorable due to pics and videos being different from seeing the place in person. We traveled to see the home 3x throughout the process and each time the home looked better and better. And much more in-line with what we were hoping for than in the pics. This was an extremely unique and uncomfortable position to be at first, but Drees put us at peace by their over communication, friendliness and thoroughness. I guess that’s what happens when you have such a great product! When we finally closed, there were a handful of pre-closing inspection items that hadn’t been complete, but they proactively shared dates for when they’d be done and they delivered!! Drees has beautiful homes and nice floor plans which we love about our new home. Quality of work done is pretty good though there are some areas that could improve compared to what we have experienced with other builders. Overall we are very happy

We contracted with Dree’s for their build on your lot program using a Dree’s plan. Like with any business it always comes down to the people. Our builder Graham was very engaged and responsive. We are dealing with some post build issues but we are pleased with the responses to the warranty issues experienced. We would recommend Dree’s based on our experience so far.

Drees really builds a beautiful, and high-quality home! This home was already built, so we did not have input on design choices; and Tara and Jako are amazingly responsive to every question we've had. This has brought such peace-of-mind!

The sale process was smooth - the salesperson knew the product and helped with picking out colors and features. I was informed weekly during the construction phase, with pictures and descriptions. final walkthrough and closing were efficient.

I've been through couple new home buying process in my life time. Overall experience with Drees was fantastic from start to finish and I have to say it was the best I had. Anything you ask, Drees will try to accommodate your request (since its a custom home builder). Quick responses and great customer service before and AFTER closing.

Overall home buying experience was good. We would have appreciated more options so as to avoid having to bring in contractors to finish what could have been done at the beginning.

Overall, anyone we have interacted with at Drees, from the sales representative, to the builder, to the sub-contractors, they all actually care about your feelings toward them and the home you have purchased. I chose the word home and not house, because they are genuinely interested in you loving their product and making things right for you so that you in turn love your home. This commitment follows through to post-purchase as well.

Builder,was,very responsive to all,concerns. I was impressed ,with overall quality and on time completion. Both Trey and Tara kept us up to date on what was going on with the build. I would recommend this builder to anyone looking to build a new home.

The Drees team in Austin did a great job start to finish. From initial consultation through customization, choosing deco options, and construction, the communication and responsiveness was excellent. The builder / superintendent was the best we’ve ever worked with having built multiple homes over the years.

DREES does a great job of informing you, but you need to do your homework too. Know WHEN you need to make WHAT decisions in the design process. With DREES we were able to customize design changes we wanted in our home (structural (rooms, windows, nooks), electrical, interior and exterior choices, and changes that would allow for potential future add-ons like adding a pool or solar panels. DREES as flexible and accommodating!!

This was our 2nd experience building home, 1st experience was fantastic and this 2nd one was mediocre. Work done by quite a few vendors are substandard quality for the price, it looked like the goal of the entire project was to finish the work, not deliver better product, some of the things were pure negligence, not much auditing by contractor once work finished by vendors, questionable decision by Drees to continue with vendors that have extremely poor public reputations, looks like profitability is priority over customer satisfaction!

Planning and designing our home was an exciting and fun aspect of building but watching the home come to life each week was incredible. McCade kept us informed at every step with weekly text messages and photos of the building progress. He kept our interests at the forefront of his mind and took the time to ensure every detail was finished as designed. McCade made the home building experience very special for us.
