we bought a market home so we didn't have any input as to what went where my inspector didn't find any major flaws so that was good the electric layout is a little confusing, the half of basement not finished has but one switch for all the lights so I put that on a motion detector switch which helped, other than that all is good

everyone was helpful and able to answer all my questions as a first time home buyer and my builder came out everytime i had a question or concern.

Great communication from start to finish. Every question was answered at once. Small imperfections were fixed at once. Excellent support after closing.

good responses to my concerns. I understand that the builders are going quickly and may make mistakes. When brought to their attention they try and make it right.

The build process with Drees was outstanding from start to finish. We did have some pain points when it came to the actual grading of the property however the real sticking point has been the warranty post sale. We have submitted a handful of warranty tickets post sale mainly on small items here and there. The warranty team is always quick to respond that they have received our inquiry however the process of having the actual warranty team come out and address issues has been shaky at best. Issues that require a specialized trade to come out(electric/plumber) are quick to be handled. Anything that requires the warranty team to come out has not yet been addressed even weeks after the ticket was submitted and with several follow up emails, phone calls and texts. After purchasing an expensive home, I would expect the quality of care to match the experience we received throughout the build process. Trades could have been better. Issues with plumber, whirlpool dishwasher and garage door

Doug kept me up to date on the construction of my condo and answered all of my questions and concerns. Mark helped support me through the entire building process and helped set my mind at ease with this giant step in my life.

We love everything about the home but the road to completion was more difficult than it required to be. Sub-contractors were the biggest obstacles.

Building a new home is stressful, even when it's our third time, but building one from hundreds of miles away out of state has the potential to be a logistical nightmare. Instead, working with Drees Homes, in particular Michelle *****, Amanda *****, Brett *****, and Kimbra ***** was an absolute dream due to their unmatched customer service. From the moment we signed the contract, the clear and frequent communication was outstanding. Because we couldn't just drive by the job site, or pop in for a quick meeting, the team became our eyes and ears. We received regular, detailed updates at every major milestone. We never had to wonder what was happening; they were always one step ahead of our questions. What truly set this team apart was their “we can do that” attitude. No matter how “unique” our requests seemed, or how many adjustments we asked about, we were never met with rigidity. Instead, the team approached every conversation with a collaborative, solution-oriented mindset that made us feel like true partners in the build. Whenever unexpected issues or concerns arose they were communicated quickly and presented with resolutions. There was no finger-pointing or delaying. The team owned the process and fixed things promptly and correctly. Most of all, we are incredibly grateful for the immense patience shown by every single staff member. Drees offers an excellent team and product. Salesperson Debbie ***** was outstanding and helped us determine what we wanted and kept us informed throughout the process. Make no mistake that it is expensive to build a new home, but the value is getting what you want and staying within budget. Rafael ***** was our building manager and communicated every step of the way and helped us navigate the ins and outs, making sure everything was done to our satisfaction. Attention to detail and anticipating our questions was his strong suit. Making sure you know what you want is important to ensure success. Subcontractors were all great and worked very hard to deliver a great product. Just as important is the followup after taking ownership. Good quality with an efficient sales process. Been in my home for more than 2 months now and still very happy. The Drees team continues to check in and make sure everything is good.

Their relationship and take care of residents

My only negative statement concerns the material suppliers, in particular the *****, ***** 4 Durham laminate cabinet, Durham PureStyle™ White. We warrantied the cabinet doors and the replacements were just as bad. My comment is to NOT upgrade the cabinets and replace with whatever you want after you close.

Lots if usual issues with construction but builder has been very responsive to the problems as they have arisen. Incorrect type of paint was used on all trim and interior doors (flat was used and should have been some ***** of gloss). You never use flat on trim and internal doors!

The entire home purchase experience went smoothly and efficiently. The home is very well constructed , offering unique and desirable features. The builders are experienced and do things right. Overall, our home was an excellent purchase for our family.

All was wonderful!

This is the third home I have purchased. By far, this has been the best experience. Two individuals, John ***** and Ray *****, are a great team. Their attention to detail and follow up is extraordinary. I could not have asked for a better experience. WELL DONE!!!!!!!

Our first experience with Drees was wonderful. Alec, Jeff and Kenny were fantastic to work with, quick to respond to questions and ensure the results were satisfactory. The quality of our home is above most builders. We purchased a market home but we're still allowed to make a few small changes. The finishes throughout are lovely. We highly recommend Drees!

Overall pleased with the building, very modern architecture and in line with our design selections

Drees is only worried about how much money they can make off of you. They over promise and under deliver. The amount to of items that were not completed to spec was More than frustrating. Each time you would call something out, it was that's on our list, yet it wasn't. The build process felt more like a full-time job to monitor the poor quality and lack of attention to detail than an exciting build experience. The only reason we went to the close table was because we had already sold our prior house and needed a place to move. Since move in, we have continued to have to fight an electrical issue that keeps tripping our breaker. Their solution is to run an extension chord rather than fix the true issue. This is because they don't want or have to pay for the repair. Would not recommend building with them. ... More
