I purchased a spec home that was already built. I loved the layout, but not paint color on fireplace. They agreed to paint it a color I wanted at no additional cost. That was great. I have had good communication and follow up with questions. Nice home and community.

Drees staff are professional and helpful throughout the process- from sales to build to final completion. Highly recommend.

This is our 2nd home with Drees in the past 2 years. Once again, experience was excellent. I love how they allow you to really customize your home during design process Lusa, sales agent was excellent and very responsive and a good listener to our needs. Seth and Nick provided quality service during build phase and Seth continues to provide excellent customer service long after we closed. I highly recommend Drees for a quality built home that feels like a custom build.

The home building experience was very challenging with Elevate by Drees from the point of pre-drywall to the finish. It started off well, but the ending was disastrous. Our construction manager flat out lied to us about certain things that were supposed to be fixed but were not. I found multiple areas in our attic after we moved in that there was no insulation at all. We showed up to our house about four hours after our closing and there were about 10 workers still painting, putting trim on the fireplace, and multiple other items that should have been done before closing. Multiple exhaust fan vents were not connected, our rough grading was not done, numerous items. If the last few months would have been much better and we wouldn’t have been lied to my review would have been different. We figured paying the price that we paid for the home would have come with better service and craftsmanship. ... More

Excellent job on all aspects! Have recommended them to my parents for their new home as well and my wife and I are extremely satisfied. They do an amazing job and very quick to respond to issues.

We've been in our new Drees home for a little over 2 months now and couldn't be happier. Our overall experience from sales to design to build to move-in was great. There were a few minor hiccups along the way, which is to be expected, but through it all, everyone we dealt with a Drees was easy to reach and to work with. They listened to our many, many questions and led us through the home building journey with patience and grace. I especially want to give a shout out to our builder, Clayton, who is an absolute rock star.

Our experience was superb, and Chad and Tyler were welcoming and communicative throughout the entire process.

Overall we had a good experience building with Drees. We enjoyed the people we worked with throughout the process. There were definitely issues that came up along the journey that we felt were not adequately attended to and some miscommunication from Drees and contractors/trades that led to some frustration. In the end we’re very happy with our home and are happy to be here!

This is the 3rd home we have built and by far the best experience. The quality of materials, the willingness to work with you on any issue whether big or small, and the overall attention to every detail are unmatched in my experience.

Workmanship in general was good except masonry work which shoul and can be greatly improved. Responsiveness to issues before closing and customer review were great but not so much after that. Our experience with builder was considered satisfied. So far after 2.5 months in the house we have no big problems.

We had a wonderful experience with Drees and would definitely build with them again. When there was an issue our builder was incredibly receptive and addressed our concerns right away. There were many wonderful choices in the design center for all of our choices!

A few corners were cut for expense management. One example 1/2 of the kitchen cabinets had soft close hinges and 1/2 did not. Dead tree on the punch list died again 4 weeks after the closing and I had escalate to get mgmt. involved to get it replaced.

We enjoyed the whole experience of building our dream home! We recommend Drees to anyone looking for a quality builder with a caring team of professionals from the sales office, to the design center and contractors!

Folks we dealt directly with Brock & Lisa were outstanding. Professional and experienced with a knack for knowing what needed to being done. First rate crew!

With several home styles and price points to choose from, Susan helped me narrow down what would work for my lifestyle and budget. Clayton and Charlie as the builders helped me understand what was happening as the house was being built and addressed my questions during the walk through.

Excellent builder and very accommodative with reasonable requests. Good construction and highly recommend them.

We love the neighborhood but the quality of work for the price we paid is very disappointing! Even after coming back several times to fix items, we are still waiting for them to come again. Everything is way overpriced. I needed to match towel bar and called their distributor and she quoted me $60 for one towel bar. Lowe's has same bar for $22. Our builder Brock was the only positive in the whole experience. He is such a genuine person who did all he could to make our experience a good one. Unfortunately, he wasn't the one doing the work.

We were very pleased with the overall experience of building our new home with Drees. As we did not live near the building site of our new home, Drees did a good job of keeping us informed of the progress of our build and answered any questions or concerns we had throughout the build. Even after closing and moving in, Drees stayed present and took care of any issues we had. We would recommend Drees Homes for your new home.

Sales, service and construction mgr were very responsive throughout the pricess

I would recommend Elevate to anyone. Even though some of my criticisms are harsh, the overall process, responsiveness of Chad and many of the Elevate team seems to care about customer satisfaction and that outweighs my concerns. I do think do to some lesser quality materials used the value is less than desired but still an OK value - not good, not great, but OK. Now the details. First the great - Chad is an amazing project manager. He is responsive, helpful, and knowledgeable. Megan in the design center was a pleasure to work with and Elevate had many nice upgrade and standard options. Todd was great too. He was very helpful with the design of the house and incorporated many of his ideas. Also Elevate has been very supportive even with some challenges with Hamilton County zoning. Huge props to the team for leaning in and ensuring my wife and I are supported and taken care of. Now the not so great: 1) The TRIM AND Cabinet DOORs Elevate uses are incredibly cheap particle board. It breaks and chips with the slightest touch. For the price charged use real wood. 2) The Garage Doors and Standard Opener are also only OK. They do offer an upgraded opener. Take it! While it is only marginally better the standard is quite low end. 3) DO NOT paint your GARAGE door. Make them upgrade to 9600 series which has better R value and will come colored. Painting will chip, scratch and make the doors stick and is terrible. A maintenance nightmare! I am asking Elevate to switch my doors to 9600 series because after 2 months my doors already need touched up again. IF Elevate does the right thing AND updates my doors to the 9600 series, I will update this review. Again when people are buying $800K to $1.5M homes, get the better garage doors, openers, and trim. 4) LVP installers did an ok job. Elevate has already agreed to fix unlevel areas so huge props to Elevate 5) I was not thrilled they elevate saves money by doing the following: 1) uses 24” on center for none load bearing walls 2) uses 2x4s for the roof joists and does not make it so they can have attic storage 3) uses I-Beams for floor joists versus engineered floor joists 6) was disappointed that Elevate will not 1) install Garage ladder due to number non load bearing weak 2x4s used as joists 4) does not offer a garage floor coating 5) concrete was poured WAY too wet and ended up cracking - yes concrete cracks, BUT it does not have too - on the plus side they do install a vapor barrier which gives added protection. 6) uses Guardian which did NOT center my speakers properly in my Media room even after I asked the guy to use a tape measure and NOT eye it and does not offer a ring like recording service only offers full monitoring security. 7) did not hook up the fridge water line and had a major leak under the tub which required part of the ceiling to be tore out and replaced. I am concerned about the plumbers and the quality of the work 8) Electricians installed a 50A breaker when a 60A was clearly specified AND put home lines in my secondary panel and I also clearly stated I did not want those in my garage panel - did it because it was “easier and cheaper” for them I am hopeful many of my current concerns will be addressed at the 90 review and if they are, I will update the review. Again, overall a good experience and I would recommend Elevate to any, I am concerned about the 20 year quality of certain items due to some of the construction methods and material used, but time will tell. If I had it to do again I would have insisted on the better Garage Door and opener from the start, told them I wanted 16” on center construction, insisted on real wood trim and cabinet doors AT a FAIR price - already charging insane amounts for cheap particle board upgrades-, use structural wood for joists so it can add an attic space above the garage, AND use engineered floor joists versus I-Beams - if you ever want to run something in the ceilings I-Beams make it 10 times harder. ...
