Condition of home exterior could have been better. Noise level of heat pump in the owners bedroom is unacceptable.

Our new home experience with Drees was great from start to finish. We received outstanding guidance from Drees on all aspects of the process, including lot selection, and the design process where we selected all our finishes for the inside and outside of our home. We were living across country when we did this, which added a challenge to the process, but Drees was very flexible and worked with us. Our home is beautiful, and well built, and the follow up since we have moved in has been excellent.

I have so much love for our new home but there are things. That the builder did or missed that now that I’m living in the home just make me feel the value for every dollar spent is not equal. The paint quality absolutely stinks I’ve only been in the home 2 months and it’s terrible everywhere. If you have kids it’s going to suck. So I’m aware that after drywall touch up I’m stuck paying to repaint with better paint. Subpar qualities and craftsmanship poor. Paint speckles on expensive stainless steel appliance and paint spots on dark hardwood. First month of move in, master shower water leaking into closet. After one patch up job, there was still a leak. Fixing pending. Brick walls had to be teared down and redo. Poor paint job. Lack in quality control.

I really enjoyed watching my home come to life. The building process was interesting. My only complaint is that the exterior carpenters did a terrible job initially. Once I communicated that it was unacceptable Dress corrected the errors. I appreciated that they responded to my concerns, and I understand that crew is no longer doing work for them. In the end I was thrilled with my new home!

The process was fairly smooth but did not like using First Equity. I thought Peggy was short and rude at times and made the experience less than pleasant. The house itself is nice and the customer service is outstanding. I would refer a friend if they decided to build a home. Like every investment a partnership must be formed.

Third Drees Home Purchase since 2002

I have always highly valued the build quality of the 1976 built Drees home that was my fist home purchase. Several years later I purchased a new build in the Hampshire Subdivision that I called home for 15 error free years. Subsequently when it was time to move my mother in with us, we were excited to find multi-generational options in the Drees portfolio that met our needs. Any minor warranty work over the past 3 months has been handled superbly. I don't know when I will need my next home, but I do know it will be hard to not buy another Drees.

Beautiful Market Home we purchased. If we had time we would have built but overall the house is great. Market Homes have some TLC that has to occur once you get into the home and notice things we are hopeful at our check in they will be making things right.

Debra was an absolute pleasure to work with. Her positive energy and attention to detail made the process so easy. Once I had signed my contract, the builder sent me weekly updates on the progress of my home build. These updates were extremely important to me since I was living in California at the time. Upon closing, Joe was instrumental in making sure the home was up to standard and in tiptop shape. A great team and a great experience. I highly recommend Drees Homes.
