Lawn maintenance was not good as need to reseed the backyard lawn within one month after moving in. There are medium size rocks and two very big sized rocks in the backyard.

1)Lawn seeding and sod was not good that just put seeding and without losses soil 2)garage concrete was good that had a long line crack 3)screen door qua wasn’t good 4) patio concrete was not good 5) Steel was exposed out of concrete 6) close door doesn’t align with block area 7)front door lock spent two months to fixed due to ins wrong spec

Drees Homes is a trustable and reliable builder, they value their customer and strive to make it right if there are any issues in the building process and offer good support after moving in.

Overall we are very happy. Didn’t like $400 water bill we received for first month—due to non-stop watering of lawn.

Excellent job in their response to any issues even after move-in. Good workmanship and quality work

My house has too many water leak issues in the basement within the first month of the move. These things should have been taken care properly before handing over the house. Its almost 2 months now and my basement is a mess with broken drywalls and the tarps are torn for fixing. Most of the windows were not properly caulked due to last month thunderstorm may windows had too much water leak due to poor caulking. These caulking and water proofing are the basic things that needs to be done for water prevention into the house. I have called drees more than 5 times in last 2 months for multiple water issues. ... We were happy with the building experience overall. Positives are quality and build process. Some opportunity on time frame promised vs delivered, Issues with the lot lines vs what was actually presented.

From our sales experience through the build process, communication was excellent. When we had our walk through, the final build - especially fit and finish- our home exceeded our expectations!

Drees has been very responsive to every minor issue that has popped up. That's greatly appreciated.

I was lied to from the Mortgage Co to the Construction.

Worst experience we have ever had, and we have built 8 homes. Corolyn was great and so is Matt.

Our home was clean and move in ready when we actually moved in. All items that were on our walk through were completed before we moved in. Others that we saw afterwards were completed as well in a timely manner. Our builder was available before we closed and afterwards, we have a number to call for customer service that was very responsive as well.

Wish they would have paid a little more attention to detail . Especially for the coast . But overall I’m happy .

my biggest disappointment is the trashy lot i have to look at every day. I think it is the Drees dumping zone.

Mike, our Project Manager, is fantastic! He was honest, helpful and kept us informed every step of the way!

If you get a good project supervisor/manager everything should go smooth. We did!

With it currently being a sellers market it was clear that the Drees staff didn’t care about quality or timeliness, just closing the house and moving on to the next one.

I have been in this house for two months now and still have unresolved issues. Not sure why it takes so long to get things corrected. I am not interested in excuses as that is what they are - just excuses. I have an unresolved kitchen cabinet issue that should have been taken care of before closing. We are supposed to have a tree planted on the property and that is still not done. I was not aware that I would have to take care of the paint touch up issues myself. I have a crack in the dining room ceiling that I was told would be taken care of in a year, so I have to live with this for a year. The grading of the property is terrible. Your masons and trim carpenters did a very good job but your painters and landscapers are terrible. I still have a plumbing issue that has yet to be resolved. There are issues with the driveway and heating vents that will not be fixed as Heath blew them off and said nothing could be done with them. I thought Drees was a custom builder and that is why I went with Drees as opposed to Fisher. ... More

The people you work with at the beginning and middle of the process are great. They keep you informed and help tremendously. The hardest part (but I'm sure this is true with all builders) is once you sign the papers and close, anything you think isn't good enough doesn't matter. I only say this because I'm working with the warranty team now. And they will only fix something that's broken or not working, but shotty workmanship is your problem now. But that makes sense, it's their job to make sure they don't spend all of Drees' money and they aren't obligated to fix shotty work once you close. I would say once you close, try to have the mindset that you bought a market home and not a brand new home and that it should all be perfect. ... More

Drees has been great to work with on all fronts. I have had some issues with their contractors lack of attention to detail. But Drees is taking care of most of them.

Waiting for 3 months for a repair to squeaky subfloor in upstairs hallway.

Great home and great service to resolve issues

It was very easy to go in, sign and get a preapproval, but after that is where it gets interesting: - Market Manager quiets responding to texts and emails. - Mortgage officer leaves First Equity Mortgage and does not tell the borrowers. No email returns, no VM messages, nothing! Found out 2 months before closing that Mortgage Lender left. Had to reapply and start the process all over. - First Builder was awesome. Very forthcoming and attentive. Second Builder after first Builder quiet is overwhelmed and non responsive sometimes. Very down to earth though. - Closing date was implied multiple times without correction, but turned out to be severalweeks later. It was thrown off as a covid related issue.
