We had a great overall experience with Drees. Mary Jo and builder, we're very responsive to our questions and concerns and provided great feedback to us.

Very pleased with the quality of our Drees home. All of the staff we encountered were top notch, very responsive and knowledgeable. I would recommend Drees to any homebuyer.

We are very pleased with our Drees experience. From sales, to building, to warranty, expectations were clear. Our many questions and issues were addressed quickly along the way. The home quality is superb, no complaints.

Overall, our experience with Drees was great. The build came in on budget and sooner than expected. Follow up service has been superb. Our only issue was with the initial salesperson- communication was excellent until the contract was signed at which time communication became difficult.

Easy and simple experience when looking into and purchasing a Drees home

overall great experience. the team kept us very informed the entire way! good quality builder. only a few suggestions. water quality in wells should be livable which ours was not. we immediately had to invest in a filtration system.

Had a good journey through out the build process

Our experience with Drees Homes was great! Zen was our builder and he did a fantastic job as our project manager. There were things that were not addressed in our final walk-through, finishes that were not exactly to our liking, but overall our experience with this group was positive. This was our first time buying a house, so this gave us insight into what we will need to do for next time!

Peyton has been fantastic during our building process. He has been responsive and always so kind and patient. He has been great to work with and we would highly recommend him. Our biggest disappointment has nothing to do with Peyton but has been the state of the neighborhood entrance which we understand to be the developer responsibility. Regardless, it is terrible and not a first impressive you would like in a million-dollar neighborhood. The monument has no lighting and the entrance has absolutely no lighting. The roadway leading to the neighborhood by the pond of "Wyncliffe Pond" is terrible and has had fallen dead trees there from the beginning. We had initially thought it would all be resolved but all of these issues have remained for months. Very disappointing and very sad first impression to a Drees Neighborhood. ... More

We had a Build-on-Your-Own-Lot project done with Drees Homes in Raleigh NC. We'd rate Chuck F. (the marketing manager) and Jonathan N. (the builder) with 5 stars because of the huge efforts they made to address all issues before the closing, and also Rachel P. in the designer center who was very accommodating and we could feel she was genuinely willing to help us make best choices for our needs and did not push for the most expensive options. But for Drees Homes as a company, we could not give 5 starts because some upper management person was not reasonable and tried to bully us to close the sale before all problems were fixed, and some contractors did a poor job. However, considering the complex nature of the building business, we understand sometimes things could go wrong. As long as they are willing to fix all problems, we are willing to recommend Drees Homes to others, even though there is still room for them to improve. Overall satisfied with the buying experience, except that Drees should have been considerate with some changes during the construction phase. Was charged 1k for every change. We also got charged extra for the head walls instead of being included in the base price. The homeowners are also expecting tye builder and HOA to add more street lights and provide walkways in the neighborhood.

Our review is for Drees on Your Lot, semi-custom homes. Regretfully we would not recommend them. Communication from our market manager and on-site contractor was vague at best. We were misinformed about a major structural change and ended up extremely dissatisfied with the configuration of our front stoop. We appealed to the company at different levels as we believe we were taken advantage of but they declined to remediate their mistake. Additionally, many of the interior finishes, namely carpentry, paint and carpet install were just plain poor workmanship.

Very poor quality of the grading, landscape, they cut the trees in my lot but not removed the stumps, Too much noise from 2nd and 3rd floor below the carpet, it looks like below the carper ceiling not installed properly(20% area) making more noise, carpet nails not installed properly hurt you while walking, have to wait 90 days to fix some of these issues, poor quality of the painting work, wrong colors installed on ceiling, Instead of fixing and improving the quality they just talk normal buzz word as per the code. Its not worth for the amount we paid and services. One last thing fireplace fire was triggered automatically due tow some power glitch, have to stop main panel power breaker to stop it for the entire living room. ... More

We have had several problems that are not fixed, like water pressure is so low that we can use only one shower at a time. Or watering the yard, we can water either the front yard or back yard not both. If a dishwasher or washer is running we cannot flush the toilet??? Bathroom fixture falling apart, window seal not installed properly, door threshold not installed properly, dishwasher needed a new motor already, oven needed work to heat up. Plus more items??? In our first month and still not repaired? Grass and bushes are dead even tho with watering as much as possible. A landscaper said the Bermuda grass needs sun or it will not grow and the plants was installed during the heat of summer and were dying before they planted them.
