Takes long time to take care issues

So many times, you hear of all the nightmares with building a new house. Our process couldn't have gone smoother. Greg, our Market Manager and Keith, our builder, were fantastic to work with. They were responsive, caring and respected everything we needed and wanted in our home. We were given weekly updates and always got responses within hours when we reached out with a question or concern. I would highly recommend Drees to anyone looking to build.

From our sales experience through the build process, communication was excellent. When we had our walk through, the final build - especially fit and finish- our home exceeded our expectations!

Our home was clean and move in ready when we actually moved in. All items that were on our walk through were completed before we moved in. Others that we saw afterwards were completed as well in a timely manner. Our builder was available before we closed and afterwards, we have a number to call for customer service that was very responsive as well.

Mike, our Project Manager, is fantastic! He was honest, helpful and kept us informed every step of the way!

The open floor plan is very good, comfortable, practical and modern. I loved that I could choose the colors, flooring and the kitchen cabinets package. The selling team was great, very professional and always responded in timely manner if I had any questions. The two months check was done professionally on time and the issues were fixed fast. Very happy with my purchase and would recommend Drees to others.. Thank you!

Overall, 4.5 stars. We were very lucky to have an incredible Market Manager, Designer, and Builder. Best in the business! Upper management for Drees falls short of listening to their team and understanding the real issues in the field and the customers concerns.

For what we spent on our new house, it's really good. Some inconsistent communication btw original sales person, building sup, new sales person...

We love harmony bluffs we have a beautiful view of the lake and wild life.

Everyone on my Drees Home building team was Great. I was treated very well. The craftsmanship of my Home was second to none. The quality of materials used from my selections are excellent..

Overall, the home buying process was great. The Market Manager was very helpful and insightful. The Building Manager was very helpful and responded in a timely manner. The quality of workmanship should be reviewed during the home building process in a more frequent way.

All of the people we worked with were very good, professional and responsive to us. David, in sales, and Michael, the construction supervisor, were excellent. The house turned out beautiful and completed timely. There was no pressure in the buying process or selection of items. Their showroom is great.

Lawn maintenance was not good as need to reseed the backyard lawn within one month after moving in. There are medium size rocks and two very big sized rocks in the backyard.

Wish they would have paid a little more attention to detail . Especially for the coast . But overall I’m happy .

I am concerned about drop off from porch to patio which is dangerous but manager tells me it is up to code also no handrail by existing step that was untreated also dangerous

I have so much love for our new home but there are things. That the builder did or missed that now that I’m living in the home just make me feel the value for every dollar spent is not equal. The paint quality absolutely stinks I’ve only been in the home 2 months and it’s terrible everywhere. If you have kids it’s going to suck. So I’m aware that after drywall touch up I’m stuck paying to repaint with better paint. The electrical work is absolutely terrible I’m finishing a room downstairs myself as I have the skill set and I work in electrical utility. They literally rammed all the electrical circuits through a single knock out in the panel and no organizing of the wires at all. When my home failed the framing inspection the electricians pulled the wires back out of the Joist and upon returning the wires they just tacked them up to the underside of the joist. Just terrible workmanship. This is just a few of the things that I don’t feel I got the value for the money I spent. We were treated well by the Drees staff, just disappointed on the quality of the interior drywall work given the price of the home.

The purchase of the home was good. Drees needs better quality review in the building process. They should listen to their Builders, when they have problems with the contractors. Need better contractors to do better workmanship

Waiting for 3 months for a repair to squeaky subfloor in upstairs hallway.

We have had a good experience just some issues with water leaking and haven’t had as much help with that as we should have for a 3 month old house.

Everyone was very pleasant and helpful.

Pretty nice home buying experience and I am happy with the home

Our builder was great to work with. He kept us up to date on the progress during the build and addressed any questions or concerns we had in a very timely manner.
