I was very pleased with the buying process and getting to the final move in date. It was my first time building so a whole different situation for me. They mapped out everything that was happening. The website they have for you to look at all your progress and document was very helpful and good reference. Was able to move in a little earlier than first expected. My specific builder was great and so helpful.

We’ve built multiple new homes as well as purchased market homes. Drees does a nice job, but like any builder you need to co-manage the process, trust, but verify.

My wife is disabled. Drees builders could not have been more attentive to my wife’s disability. They were constantly in contact with us to make sure that the building process was accommodating her needs. We would recommend Drees builders to anyone that is considering building a home

We enjoyed an excellent building experience with Drees build on tour own lot program. Drees worked with us to modify plans to both fit the lot and meet the stringent building codes of our community. Once the plans were completed, we worked with their design center to select from the endless choices for exterior and interior finishes and colors. Their staff had many insightful recommendations. The site manager during the building process was great to work with and accommodated several minor changes along the way. The end result is a great home that meets our needs. I have nothing good to say except that we are glad we made a profit off of this bad decision.

I've learned not to trust a builder; especially when they continue to tell you to trust the process and I promise over and over again. Way too many issues that should have been taken care of before closing, and three months into it are still not taken care of. I could keep going but the title speaks for itself.

Michele and Derick answered all our questions and concerns we had from the day of signing until we took possession. Michele gave us peace of mind and helped us understand the transition from building until the day we received the keys. Derick was hands on. The weekly updates are fantastic. He kept us informed on the progress and was completely knowledgeable concerning timelines on the mid-build review. He assisted on the very few problems we had after taking possession. Both are consummate professionals!

Easy first time home buyer experience. The build quality, craftsmanship, and responsiveness from Drees was first class. I would highly recommend!!

Larry the market manager sold us a nice floor plan on a decent lot. Sean the builder did a fine job of building the house accurately and earlier than expected. Great experience!

They will change your options without informing you and pretend nothing happened. Then when you ask to have fix or changed is when the story starts getting super uncomfortable.

This home by Dreese was my 11th new home from various builders in Ohio, Georgia, South Caralina and Florida. I had only one builder build me 2 homes because I was satisfied with the quality of the finished product and that was Ryan Homes that rated as #1 of the 10 builders, Dreese #10

Would not recommend - poor quality craftsmanship and unreliable contractors who install and use broken and damaged materials. To get anything done correctly, you have to escalate up the chain of command. Terrible. Stay on top of everything as they do cut corners.

Drees provides a product that is low in quality, but high in price. They mislead you every step of the way just to get your money and make promises that they do not follow through on. Their customer service lacks luster as does their upper management. Customer concerns and complaints are not taken care of and you are left to deal with it. If you complain, watch out for retaliation. Two days after we closed, ironically our sewer drain backed up into our basement from a bunch of paper towels that were shoved down it. I recommend you go with a different builder so you can have a beautiful house that is not overpriced, cheap looking, and everything works appropriately. ... More

I don't regret choosing Drees. My home was build in 4 months and delivered ahead of the schedule with high quality workmanship. Each detail was neat, well done and specious. My PM was kind knowledgeable and thoughtful compared to other competitors we visited who seem to mass produce homes and careless about the customer and thier experience. Great job.

Although I'm quite disappointed by the state of the exterior of my house and the current status of the yard work and landscaping, my interactions with Drees employees has been very good, especially with Peppe. Every time I have an issue I reach out to him and he responds back right away and has been relentless in trying to make sure my issues are resolved. My major issues with the process is defintiely with the exterior of the house. The yard has been left in disaray and the landscaping looks incomplete, messy, trees have been cut to the stump, sidewalk all dug up, with no answers on when it will be done. ... More

My wife and I spent 2 years looking at various builders and communities in NE Ohio and are very happy we went with Drees. The communications between our salesperson, design center consultant was quick as any issues came up. We looked at small custom builders as well as the very large national names. Drees is a good hybrid of both. They had more customization options than any of the national names and were also willing to work with you on options that were non-standard. The quality of the materials and available options were more than adequate. They broke ground in December, and we moved in the following April. There were no delay issues and work moved along very quick. There were some minor issues that were annoying but the speed at which they responded to correct was excellent. We lived an hour and a half away and weren't not able to be onsite as often as we wanted (or needed). This probably would have prevented some of the minor issues from happening but overall, we feel we made the right decision in choosing Drees. ... More

The process was very easy, straight forward, and Alex & Jill were very responsive to any questions or concerns we had. I have built homes in the past with other builders. This home appears to be much better built. I am unable to hear traffic, birds, and other sounds that are coming from outside. Heating appears to be a lot more efficient as well. My experience was made great by the Drees team! They were very responsive and answered any and all of my questions in a very timely fashion. Drees, in my experience, was very transparent. This was our second home we built with Drees and we love it. Quality, workmanship, and custom design was wonderful. Would build with Drees again and recommend to anyone looking to build.
