We’ve worked with Lisa, buying our previous Drees Home & she’s phenomenal! Our building contractor that we started with, Andy, was great too! We’ve had some new construction issues with this house & that hasn’t been pleasant.

It was a great experience from start to finish. Everyone was very helpful in providing information and getting on calls to resolve any concerns. We customized quite a bit and the builder was very open to making those changes. By the time we moved in, we got everything we wanted and more. The quality of the materials was great and have no major issues. This was definitely a great buy and Thank you to the entire team for making this experience the best one.

Several plumbing errors as the plans were not followed and had to be revisited.

We recently moved into a newly build Drees Home. The materials used in the house are very cheap. If a car drives by, the entire house shakes. It's very clear that they used the most inexpensive materials to save money on the build. The neighborhood is a loud construction site even though our street is completely finished and they assured us there would be no noise in our area. I've contacted them several times for a number of issues and have not heard back. They assure you when you move in that they will be there for you but it's been quite the opposite. I've not heard from anyone since we moved in when there were supposed to be multiple scheduled touch points. They also don't answer their phones when you call. Everything went well - only question quality of some materials used

I have so much love for our new home but there are things. That the builder did or missed that now that I’m living in the home just make me feel the value for every dollar spent is not equal. The paint quality absolutely stinks I’ve only been in the home 2 months and it’s terrible everywhere. If you have kids it’s going to suck. So I’m aware that after drywall touch up I’m stuck paying to repaint with better paint. The electrical work is absolutely terrible I’m finishing a room downstairs myself as I have the skill set and I work in electrical utility. They literally rammed all the electrical circuits through a single knock out in the panel and no organizing of the wires at all. When my home failed the framing inspection the electricians pulled the wires back out of the Joist and upon returning the wires they just tacked them up to the underside of the joist. Just terrible workmanship. This is just a few of the things that I don’t feel I got the value for the money I spent. We enjoyed an excellent building experience with Drees build on tour own lot program. Drees worked with us to modify plans to both fit the lot and meet the stringent building codes of our community. Once the plans were completed, we worked with their design center to select from the endless choices for exterior and interior finishes and colors. Their staff had many insightful recommendations. The site manager during the building process was great to work with and accommodated several minor changes along the way. The end result is a great home that meets our needs. Truly a good experience from start to finish. We love our new home.

I have nothing good to say except that we are glad we made a profit off of this bad decision.

The home is beautiful and more than we expected. The model we chose has a lot of thoughtful design features that are important into today's homes, i.e., ample storage space, functional kitchen design, large windows throughout, and attention to detail. We couldn't be more pleased.

Had a good journey through out the build process

overall great experience. the team kept us very informed the entire way! good quality builder. only a few suggestions. water quality in wells should be livable which ours was not. we immediately had to invest in a filtration system.

The Project Manager was great to work with. Kept us informed regularly about the progress on our home and what to expect along the way. He was easy to communicate with and promptly addressed any concerns along the way.

Subpar qualities and craftsmanship poor. Paint speckles on expensive stainless steel appliance and paint spots on dark hardwood. First month of move in, master shower water leaking into closet. After one patch up job, there was still a leak. Fixing pending. Brick walls had to be teared down and redo. Poor paint job. Lack in quality control.

I really enjoyed watching my home come to life. The building process was interesting. My only complaint is that the exterior carpenters did a terrible job initially. Once I communicated that it was unacceptable Dress corrected the errors. I appreciated that they responded to my concerns, and I understand that crew is no longer doing work for them. In the end I was thrilled with my new home!

Your sales department was terrible, I never felt I could trust him or felt respected by him. There were more than one occasion when we were not spoken to with 100% integrity. The design center ladies were amazing. Albert was really good until we got close to closing. He was a little more hesitant to correct minor discrepancies at that time than I would have liked. His trustworthiness and communications is what kept me from walking away throughout the build process i felt i could trust him.

I've learned not to trust a builder; especially when they continue to tell you to trust the process and I promise over and over again. Way too many issues that should have been taken care of before closing, and three months into it are still not taken care of. I could keep going but the title speaks for itself.

Michele and Derick answered all our questions and concerns we had from the day of signing until we took possession. Michele gave us peace of mind and helped us understand the transition from building until the day we received the keys. Derick was hands on. The weekly updates are fantastic. He kept us informed on the progress and was completely knowledgeable concerning timelines on the mid-build review. He assisted on the very few problems we had after taking possession. Both are consummate professionals!

I loved working with Drees, everyone was fantastic. They are a premium priced builder, which is hard with rates at they are in 2023. It feels justified!

Nothing but smoking mirrors and lies

The experience with Drees was outstanding. The experience began with a knowledgeable and thorough salesperson to a detailed and organized project manager. They made the building process very smooth. They dealt with any of our concerns promptly and there were very few. Communication was fluid and always welcomed. The end product was very high quality and we could not be more satisfied.

We love the floor plan and design of the home. The construction of the home was unsatisfactory.

Our salesperson Lisa was less than helpful or professional. Our home had construction errors. We're still waiting for items to be fixed which is disappointing. We wanted to love this process but it has been emotionally draining at this point.

Experience with Josh and Kelly was great, very knowledgeable and willingness to help.

excuses for poor workmanship like that's our vendor, is not acceptable. Someone knows how to do it right get that someone with that contractor. if your going to charge for something make sure its right and don't make excuses when its not.
