From the purchase of the home with Michele, to the design with Kcey, to the build process with Derek, we had nothing but a positive experience.

We relocated to Ohio and had 7 days to find a home, while visiting here. Drees had several homes we really liked and the last one we toured was the one, we knew right away! The home is beautiful with modern styling. Our interaction with all the Drees team members was fantastic, can’t say enough how stress free and easy the process was!! And since moving in, our builder has been over several times to make sure everything is going well. I highly recommend Drees to anyone looking for a home!!

Can't say my experience with Drees was any good, honestly, aside from my Superintendent Saul. The entire process outside of that was hot garbage. The quality of material and workmanship on the home is absolutely horrendous. Plumbing work is bad, paint is bad, drywall is bad, flooring is bad, electrical is bad, HVAC is bad. Literally everything about the home is bad. The only difference with Drees compared to other builders is that they try to make the house look fancier. That's it. We will not be building our next home with Drees.

Enjoyed the experience of building a home with Drees (this is the 6th home we have built). Very good floor plans and Drees was flexible to some changes we requested. Design center is up to date with current trends and made the selection process easy to see the complete home style at once. Building experience and follow-up with everyone was exceptional! Couldn't be happier to finally be in our dream home...every day feels like we are on vacation!

DREES Home builders should work more closely with the potential residents about the HOA requirements so there is not a possible misleading of what is acceptable for privacy with the space allotted (The Lot) and the "views" around the property being presented to the potential buyer

All of the people we worked with were very good, professional and responsive to us. David, in sales, and Michael, the construction supervisor, were excellent. The house turned out beautiful and completed timely. There was no pressure in the buying process or selection of items. Their showroom is great.

I think the final product is good, overall. However, I had a lot of stress going through the project that could have been alleviated had the builder done a better job at communicating when problems arose (for example, I would hear that something was going to get done, then a month later hear the item is back ordered and there will be a much longer delay). The quality of the paint is horrendous. The paint shouldn’t be chipping when I wash a piece of dirt away with a baby wipe or soft side of a sponge. The quality of the sod is pretty bad. The landscaper allowed too big of spaces between sheets and there are gaps. It looks horrible and had the sod been a specific job I paid a contractor to do I would be asking for my money back Some of the walls aren’t straight. One of our walls bows out and another wall has a seam so pronounced it looks like it’s bowing out as well. There have been a few times where I’ve stepped on the carpet and there has been a tack that wasn’t in all the way and I’ve cut my foot I understand that there are a lot of parts to a house and that it’s not going to be perfect. However, bowed walls, paint chipping if you brush it with your shoulder, and sod that isn’t even is just ridiculous. The floor plan and exterior of the house are great! ... More

Our recent move from Hawaii to Indiana was riddled with many challenges, including the home buying process. However, we finally experienced relief from the moment we stepped into the Drees model home sales center at Shafer Woods. From our initial meeting with Claire in the sales office, through the build with Barrett, we were left with the sense that ,we as the customer were always at the top of their mind. they were very responsive at the Model Home and helped out tons, the design center person didn't know about a lot of the options available, and since moving in we have had to change several thing already... Our 1st GC was horrible, but our 2nd one made up for him and more, great Guy! Workmanship, OK at Best, i did give them a 4, just because of the GC's responsiveness to issues. only been in the home 30 days, we already have had several nail pops, multiple issues with appliances, walls out of alinement, and overall shoddy subs doing the work for Drees. Wouldn't suggest Drees to anyone, unless they get their act together. ... More

We loved our experience building with Drees! They were kind, helpful, and responsive to our needs through all parts of the process. We are overall very happy with our home. After we moved in, we have had a few kinks that have needed to be worked out that we did not expect in a new home.

The purchase of the home was good. Drees needs better quality review in the building process. They should listen to their Builders, when they have problems with the contractors. Need better contractors to do better workmanship

I had a great experience from the Drees representative here at Liberty Hall Michelle Pasquantino and our builder Austin. Both I feel went a above and beyond to provide a pleasant and professional experience for me and my family.

My husband and I built our Drees home with such ease. We were building from out of state and the process went smoothly. When issues were brought to our attention , they were quickly resolved. Our home is beautiful and Drees went above and beyond to make our house even more custom. Even after our final walkthrough, there were some items that still needed to be taken care of and are currently being handled after closing, they have been in constant touch and make their buyers feel heard. We appreciate buying a Drees home!

Sam, from the model home. was great to work with. He met all or our needs and answered all of our questions. He was a Hugh asset in getting us started and helping us thought anything that arose with our new home. He is very informative. We would build with Drees again

The Drees team was amazing from start to finish ! Bruce, Rob and Amanda were informative, attentative and proactive at making sure our new home is exactly what we wanted. I would definitely recommend Drees to anyone looking to build a new home because I'd use then again.

Working with Kellie, Candice & Greg made the building process outstanding. They provided great assistance to us as we were in the process of relocating to Kentucky. Would highly recommend Drees and this team of professionals.

When picking out your paint no ve dries as the cheapest crappyest paint company in Tennessee and will only choose to paint flat paint

We have thoroughly enjoyed our new drees home. Their responsiveness has been incredible since the first day we moved in.

Did a great job.

We had a great sales person: Suzanne was wonderful with changes we wanted and always pleasant and tesponsive. We had a wonderful general contractor/superintendent, Michael Carroll. He was very responsive to any questions or changes needed. Unfortunately, he was brought in after work was already being performed. Mike had to troubleshoot the problems. He was wonderful and positive anytime we worked with Mike. However some of the workmanship is not quality work. It takes 5 min to get hot water to our kitchen faucet, with very low water pressure as well. We also have a large crack in our ceiling that was repaired before we moved in. You could tell where the ceiling was patched. Now the crack is back after 2 months and part of ceiling coming down. We are reaching out to get this resolved, but feel there is a structural issue. The white caulk with green siding looks terrible, not done very professionally. ... More

The overall experience with Drees was great. It has been 20 years since we built our last home and my expectations were high and I was probable setting myself up for a frustrating experience. Drees made the process easy every step of the way. I was very hands on during the building process and found the trades too be less than stellar. I am not sure if was related to Covid, the economic down turn or simply lack of craftsmanship. Matt (Project Manager) kept a tight lead on the trades to ensure a quality build. Matt and Amanda were the best partners to have on our side.

Make sure you walk through and nitpick the house. Contractors try and cut corners especially the finishing crew. If you have animals do not get the real hardwood or engineered hardwood. Make sure you double check the appliances you get are correct. Plan on doing a lot more landscaping.

Our experience was very good, our Drees team was a pleasure to work with and our new is beautiful. Would definitely use Drees again if we ever build another new home.
