Building our home started Early November and we closed mid March. We closely watched our home being built. Questions were answered right away. We were getting ready for our walk through and Will found things that we didn’t see and had them fixed before our walk through. Any issues were addressed right away.

There is a lack of attention to detail. Many little annoying things that were overooked, not earth stopping, but annoying nonetheless. Drywall mud over outlets, unsanded areas on walls, missed paint, water spigot not working, landscaping poor. Little things but, a little attention to detail makes a difference. Most annoying thing is a design flaw (my opinion) that the hot water heater is installed clear across the house from the kitchen, master bath, bedroom basement and washroom and takes over a minute to get hot water to those destinations.

Drees was very helpful through the whole process. Our home has turned out beautiful and I would use them again. Our builder Brian was amazing and everything was finished to a high standard

This was not our first time building a home from the start. This was by far the easiest and best home building experience. The Drees team has been so responsive and efficient. The quality of the home is second to none. This will be a home that I spend the next 30 years in with my family and making precious memories. I will always be thankful for Drees for providing that.

I had a wonderful experience buying my home at Riffle Ridge from beginning to end! Sam Nick Jacob are great to work with, Nick kept me informed every step of the way, it was an easy process with them by my side. If I do have a problem I call Tammy and she tells John and it is all taken care of very quickly. I am very very happy with my home and I encourage anyone looking for a beautiful townhouse in a beautiful surroundings to come to Riffle Ridge! Thanks to all that helped me through this journey!

This is our 2nd home with Drees in the past 2 years. Once again, experience was excellent. I love how they allow you to really customize your home during design process Lusa, sales agent was excellent and very responsive and a good listener to our needs. Seth and Nick provided quality service during build phase and Seth continues to provide excellent customer service long after we closed. I highly recommend Drees for a quality built home that feels like a custom build.

Please understand that when you meet with the salesman that they DO NOT MAKE clear that everything in the home is ala carte! After you go to the Home Center and pick what would be put in any modern home - they are willing to provide with the home from the 90's at no additional cost - but I am certain that the items chosen are not appreciably more expensive than what they will "give you" for the sales price. You may have "sticker shock". The home does not even come with a garage door opener at closer to a million dollars than we ever expected - we are still replacing or putting in items that were not included. This is wholly not explained during the purchase meeting. Additionally, we had to spend money having the home inspected for improper installation because Drees DID NOT have a process to do that behind their workmen. We literally became their quality control and paid $1,000 for the pleasure. The people are very nice and the finished home is surprisingly nice but the process, the extra costs, the unexpected lack of follow through while leaving it up to us to figure out was - repugnant to say the least. ... This is our second Drees home. The quality of materials is substantially lower than our home 25 years ago. The workmanship is good. Some designs are a little strange like the placement of switches. Some of the carpentry seems off like molding pieces that don't fit together correctly. The responsiveness of the builder to fix items has been good.

Drees is by far the best builder I’ve ever worked with from start to finish. I highly recommend them!

Drees first neighborhood of semi custom homes. Unfortunately they are not ready for such homes from the inexperienced sales staff to building team. They are focused on cost cutting rather than doing the right thing. Only benefit is 5% down upon contract. There is a lack of accountability and ownership from Drees so if you want to buy here just be aware and manage your build as appropriate.

My builder, Kai was incredible. He responded to every email and problem we had along the way. He was friendly and very knowledgeable. I have had two friends buy back here and told them to request Kai as the site supervisor. I have spoken to all my new neighbors and those who had him said the same things. Our salesperson was Greg. He helped us design our dream home and keep it within our budget. Mehyar was our post build problem solver. He has an eye for issues like no one I’ve ever seen. His demeanor and knowledge were incredible. He is also someone that our new neighbors speak highly of. ... More

The whole team was great to work with from start to finish! Our only issues would be with drywall and paint crews and their lack of attention to detail and cleanup!

From beginning to end, the home buying process has been phenomenal. The home itself is truly a dream, but what really made the experience stand out was the exceptional customer service from the Drees team. They were attentive, professional, and made the entire process smooth and stress-free.

I had very little communication throughout the build. Had to follow up on outstanding items multiple times. Painting is not the best. Lots of touch up needed. Birds in the external vents. Vents should have been cohesive with the other townhomes. Had to provide my own screening to keep birds out. Overall, I like my home, but having to reach out 3 and 4 times to get small things cared for was frustrating.

As I was told by one of the Drees reps " anyplace where corners can be cut as far as materials, Dees will always take the least costly route". This is evident in the plumbing structure where cheap plastic tubing is used instead of copper pipe, window sills are no longer standard and interior framing, drywall installation and finishing work were sub-standard. I will say that the Project Manager was quick to resolve issues when we pointed tham out to him.

My experience with Drees was ok. I had an extensive issue with the soil being bad which delayed the building of my home by four months. This was quite a shock to me and an inconvenience, while Drees did all that they could to remedy the situation to build the house, they did nothing to remedy the inconvenience it put me in my family in. While the quality of the house is good I believe the price did not match. The layout of the home is very nice however a linen closets and larger walk-in closets would have been nice. The associate were professional but I would probably not buy another Drees home. ... More

The home building experience was very challenging with Elevate by Drees from the point of pre-drywall to the finish. It started off well, but the ending was disastrous. Our construction manager flat out lied to us about certain things that were supposed to be fixed but were not. I found multiple areas in our attic after we moved in that there was no insulation at all. We showed up to our house about four hours after our closing and there were about 10 workers still painting, putting trim on the fireplace, and multiple other items that should have been done before closing. Multiple exhaust fan vents were not connected, our rough grading was not done, numerous items. If the last few months would have been much better and we wouldn’t have been lied to my review would have been different. We figured paying the price that we paid for the home would have come with better service and craftsmanship. ... More
