Your final home price reflects the specific selections you made during the process, including a premium lot with a wooded tree line—features that typically add value and appeal. While the neighborhood’s average home price is slightly lower (by $15K), individual prices vary based on lot selection, structural options, and design upgrades. During the process, you were given the option to cancel the contract with the understanding your deposit would be forfeited, but you chose to proceed. Also, in NC, having a realtor represent you in a home purchase is not a legal requirement. The decision to proceed without a realtor was entirely yours, and we respect that choice. Our team was always available to answer questions and support throughout the process.

Regarding the kudzu on your lot, Drees has agreed to provide a one-time service to address it; however, ongoing lawn maintenance, including managing invasive plants, is the homeowner’s responsibility per our warranty guidelines.
