My home buying experience with Drees was very easy and streamlined. They have everything written from start to finish of what to expect. Once moved in, if I complained of anything being incorrected, Drees would have the issue corrected within 24 hours. Great customer services.

I feel like I have been mislead in the process of purchasing this home. I asked about having a realtor and was told I didn’t need one. In the design center, I was presented with the high end items. I didn’t realize I was making selections that put my home higher than other homes. I was sold a premium lot that I’m now dealing with kudzu which will take over my yard if not taken care of. This has been a terrible purchase.

During the process, you were given the option to cancel the contract with the understanding your deposit would be forfeited, but you chose to proceed. Love our new home. However, there were lots of maintenance items after we moved in. We have been here for four months and we are still waiting for some outside items to be completed. Also, during the last month, new problems have surfaced inside. The items that have been addressed so far are mediocre at best. This home doesn't compare to the quality of the home we sold.

The builders and labor workers do not care in the quality of their work. Really pay attention to your warranties and things like that because Drees will not point things out to you. Or try to go above and beyond to help you.

Initially we signed for a home only to discover during our home inspection that the roof was incorrectly installed and there was a leak. There was water damage to multiple areas and materials to the home. A couple weeks later we stopped by the house and discovered the sump pump failed and flooded the partially finished basement. Drees fixed the issues (and a few others discovered on the inspection) but we pulled out from this house. This is the fifth home we’ve built. This is also the best and smoothest build we’ve had. A well run company. Lots of checks and balances so the process goes smoothly. The timeline Drees Homes provided was not properly followed. The materials used all over the house is below standard. The Drees financing is another dilemma and headache to deal with. Overall, personally I would not buy again from Drees Homes.

Have had many issues during the build and also issues after. The order in which houses get different things doesnt make sense. Our yard has not been finished yet and we are living in our house, but someone who's house is just now being finished is getting a yard. For the price you pay for the house, there is lots of imperfections and below expectations on the quality. Even with upgraded paint, you cant clean it without causing discoloration. cabinets have nicks and dings all over them. Things you pay for upgrades dont get done and they are only corrected or refunded if you bring it to their ...

We love the neighborhood but the quality of work for the price we paid is very disappointing! Even after coming back several times to fix items, we are still waiting for them to come again. Everything is way overpriced. I needed to match towel bar and called their distributor and she quoted me $60 for one towel bar. Lowe's has same bar for $22. Our builder Brock was the only positive in the whole experience. He is such a genuine person who did all he could to make our experience a good one. Unfortunately, he wasn't the one doing the work.
