I recently had the pleasure of working with Lori at Drees Homes for my new home, and I can’t recommend her highly enough! From start to finish, the experience was smooth and enjoyable. The craftsmanship of the home is impressive. The attention to detail in the finishes and the overall construction quality exceeded my expectations. They use high-quality materials, which I appreciate, as it adds to the longevity of my home. One of the standout aspects of working with Drees Homes was their communication. The project manager was always available to answer my questions and provide updates. I never felt left in the dark about the progress of my build. The project was completed on time, which is often a concern with home builders. They provided a clear timeline at the beginning, and they stuck to it, which was a relief. The team was friendly and professional. Lori listened to my ideas and incorporated them into the design, making me feel like a valued part of the process. Any concerns I had were addressed promptly. While Drees Homes is not the cheapest option out there, I believe the quality and service provided justify the investment. I feel confident that I received good value for my money. This builder is very fair to the purchaser. They will go out of their way to make sure that your buying experience makes you totally satisfied. They go that extra mile to give you what you ask them for. If there is a problem with anything, they attempt to take care of it. This purchase was a semi-custom home, but the flexibility that they offer makes it feel like a custom home. The overall quality of the finished product is excellent and so far, if there has been a call-back issue with something, they have fixed it in a timely fashion.

Our purchase and construction of our new Drees home has been great! The process was clear and outlined in an online website for all construction updates. Our process of finalizing and approving any end of construction details were addressed and resolved professionally by our Drees builder and sales rep!

Our experience with dress, Jeff and Kenton specifically, was amazing. Jeff kept a us up to date every step of the way. His knowledge and experience shined! Jeff never hesitates to answer our questions; even after we have moved it! Would not hesitate to work with Jeff and Kenton again.

Great home in a great neighborhood.

My husband and I built our Drees home with such ease. We were building from out of state and the process went smoothly. When issues were brought to our attention , they were quickly resolved. Our home is beautiful and Drees went above and beyond to make our house even more custom. Even after our final walkthrough, there were some items that still needed to be taken care of and are currently being handled after closing, they have been in constant touch and make their buyers feel heard. We appreciate buying a Drees home!

With any new home construction, we had small issues. And, we have had some very minor after close issues. The people at Drees from the on site manager to the warranty people have been there for us every step of the way.

Purchasing a home through Drees, was a Very Good Experience. The person that made the difference for us was Kenton. We went through a lot & he was there with us all the way. We went through several companies, and not once did he abandon us. God Blessed us with Kenton. You Need More People Like Kenton, that Really Looks out for the Customer.

Quality is subpar to say the least. Aesthetically the house is beautiful until you get into the details. Oversight on issues is non-existent and there’s no follow through. I would never recommend a Drees home.

I liked the overall experience. It was delayed three months and that became a problem because we had sold our house and we were living in a short term rental. Had we known that it would take 3 months longer, we would have rented for long term. The drywall and paint have been a problem. We used to build custom homes and I think the drywall and paint sub contractors were average and not good. They have had a lot of bad spots to repair. The stairs all have to be re-stained because the cleaners from the paint company left there towels all over the stairs while cleaning the rod iron spindles on the handrail because there was paint all over them, and they took the finish off the stair treads. We had a few issues, but they always said, "We'll do the right thing." And they always did. Great home and loved the experience.

Drees offers a high quality home. The overall experience to build was not the horrible, but for the price of the home…there is definitely room for improvement. We love the completed work, although 2 months into the home (after closing) we are still waiting on a few minor things to be resolved.

In today's world, we do not have a lot of "experienced" workers. With that said, the Drees team, Jack Towe, Heather, and Mitch, worked to the best of their ability to weed through issues and resolve them. I never felt that Drees Abandoned me. They are sticking with me to get the proper folks over here to finish the build to my satisfaction.

One of the things that attracted us to Drees was their willingness to adapt their standard build to fit our needs. In our case the changes were mainly cosmetic but others in our subdivision had more extensive changes regarding room layouts. We had previously done a new build with a different builder who was totally inflexible to changes so working with Drees felt like we were more involved in our new house. Of course any builder is only as good as their subcontractors and unfortunately in our case the concrete guys were less then stellar. To their credit Drees did attempt to correct the issues but a repair job is never as good as being done correctly in the first place. ... More

The process with Drees was over all really good. The home quality and attention to detail is really nice. We had some unusual issues during the build due to our lot (not Drees) that I would have been nice to more aggressively address, but Drees has stood by their commitments and continues to work through the problems. I would definitely build with Drees again.

We love our Drees home and are happy and excited to be living here. The process of building a home with Drees, specifically the upfront decision making and closing, was challenging at times, but our builder and warranty team were exceptional and great to work with.

Responsive to issues until the house was paid for - then no response

Garage has split wood between the cylinder blocks and drywall. Master shower downstairs Door was not closing right before we closed on the house and fixed it then and now the problem continues after 2 uses of opening and closing the door.

Septic was never explained and still can’t get information tons of drywall issues, no move in clean done and still waiting on repairs

We love the floor plan and design of the home. The construction of the home was unsatisfactory.

Make sure you walk through and nitpick the house. Contractors try and cut corners especially the finishing crew. If you have animals do not get the real hardwood or engineered hardwood. Make sure you double check the appliances you get are correct. Plan on doing a lot more landscaping.

I believe the builder tries to meet the needs of the homeowners, but they just have a hard time getting individual subcontractors and workers to come at scheduled times to complete the needed work on the home. We have been in the home about two and a half months and still have lots of items that need repairing or completion, but we are still waiting on individuals to show up. The quality would be better if the subcontractors work was supervised more closely by the project managers.
