We chose Fulton b/c of the floorplan of the Raymond model. Based on other builders floorplans, that was the best that worked for us. We would of made some changes if we could but weren't allowed as we chose a "quick move" that wasn't really a quick move in our opinion especially since houses that started after ours were ahead of ours or completed before ours. It wasn't like we were late on payments or appointments etc. During the process and our continuous search for a new build up until the week of orientation (as we didn't trust the responses we were getting from either sales people or Fulton), we saw many homes and found that their craftsmanship did not match Fulton's. Our inspector at pre-drywall did say that Fulton is one of the better builders (which we didn't know at the time we signed). We understood that dates move but the lack of communication was terrible. All we asked was to be kept in the loop so we could make certain decisions. Since we weren't, it cost us significant amount of rent increases since we couldn't lock into a longer agreement b/c the timeline kept moving when they knew well that the dates they kept providing were never going to be met. Aesthetically, we love the community and color schemes of the houses compared to other builders' communities. Overall, we didn't find many issues inside the house (yet). We do have some work orders in which we did alert the sales team/PM prior to orientation that there were issues but clearly they were ignored, hence the work orders. Since move in, we haven't found too many new issues. Our cabinet doors all hit each other so they need to be adjusted, The crown molding on the top was installed improperly so the door doesn't close correctly (was marked during the orientation but the lady thought it was just missing the rubber stopper). One of the sink drains that allegedly was fixed by the PM himself, wasn't fixed (took him at his word), which is my fault, I had to fix myself. We are not happy that the screen sliders installed were bent and broken. That's poor quality review on Fulton's side. No one would be ok with the screens we received. We aren't happy with the porch pavers, Many are loose, and we definitely got the left over pavers from the previous homes b/c the pattern layout stop using one of the sizes. Windows are cheap, not that they don't work or are installed wrong but they are the cheapest. Our island counter top is being replaced due to a defect that we brought up when it was first installed in the process which again was ignored and now we have to waste time taking off to schedule the various appointments that are needed. The Sales team has been very helpful and responsive. The Construction and Customer Service teams has responded to any issue very timely. The fix waiting for a subcontractor to respond or provide material has not always been so quick. The paver veneers have not been installed and we still do not have a date. To me this is confusing as we had selected that option 10 months before closing, so why were they not planned for and on hand when needed. Very happy with our house and Fulton Homes so far.

In comparison to my other home buying experience with another builder - my experience with Fulton Homes was outstanding. Throughout the process, I was informed of all the details of what was happening, status updates, things that were needed etc., The design center experience was great as we've never gone through the chance to pick out a lot of the things we wanted in the house. Most importantly, working with the office folks was great as well, Jack and Hal were outstanding in answering all my questions as they came about and was very informative of everything throughout each step of the process, at any point if I wasn't sure of something, they'd do their best to help me understand the concern at hand. Even after we've closed, the people we've worked with regarding small issues here and there have been great. Alex and his team have been very responsive and super helpful with anything that's come up. Fulton set the supposed closing date but they clearly didn't have the home ready by that date. A laundry-list of items that were incomplete, badly installed, not working all identified but then they disappeared. Had to keep pestering them to find out when these items would be addressed. No response. Eventually they "closed" all the issues but then sent someone to create a whole new list. Still waiting to get these issues addressed 2 full months after we identified them. I would not trust Fulton Homes to build me a home ever again.

Home was poorly built. The attention to detail was extremely awful. Paint all over the floors. Home was delivered dirty. Floors had stains. Tile was the incorrect color and inconsistent colored throughout. Tom was great though.

We had a rough start with our original Salesperson, once we got that switched it was great! The construction team and super were awesome and worked with us on all issues and questions, the team in the design center was also great to work with. All in All, Fulton built a great home at a fair price and did what they could to make the best of all the delays and challenges that we are all dealing with in these extraordinary times. Thank you to the Entire Fulton team!

From the initial interaction of when I purchased my home to the day I closed Fulton associates have been great. I used my own lender and they worked closely with the title and sales personnel. My walk through was great and the few items that needed touched up have already been fixed. Customer service reached out to see if anything outstanding and to follow up. Love my new home.

Do not do it not worth the headache and anxiety this caused for me and my family during this process. Before and during signing it was great office was nice and responded to emails and walked us through everything, but after putting in our deposits and signing that's when stuff went south. Tom wouldn't give us updates till we hownded him for it ALWAYS made excuses and never gave us answers just worked around our questions. The design center was fine but Keith from the design center cost us an extra $500.00 for not doing his job! He never responded to emails and never answered any of our questions when we asked after. There is no contact information for the design center to get stuff resolved. Not connected to Fulton but iWired never came to do the Alarm install never got our money back for the material and never got any response back from them either. This company and almost everyone associated have no communication skills and lack a great deal of attention to detail. We got excuses after excuses when material got delayed and we never got updates till we went to the house and didn't see any progress Fulton will never tell you first. Communication was the worst with this whole process. Fulton blamed everything on COVID even though we had other friends and family building with other builders and didn't experience what we did. I do have to say after the house was done the communication got great after getting into contact with Keith the construction manager him and his team are great ALWAYS answers his phone and always gets me answers when he didn't know them. Albert and Edwen did a great job everytime they came to fix something. Even after moving in many things are still missing or broken with no resolution in sight. I WILL NEVER BUILD WITH FULTON AND WILL NEVER TELL MY FRIENDS OR FAMILY TOO! The house is ok but still not 100% complete so I can't enjoy it yet. ... More

Matt has been the saving grace for our home building experience. But we still have several issues that need taken care.

The absolute worst home buying experience ever. And 2 months after moving in I still have a list a mile long of things they still need to fix. Its not just me all 9 families that live on my street feel the same way. The we are proud to build is not true!! Fulton Homes we are good at making excuses and not taking responsibility. Not one person has been honest or followed up consistently it is always someone else's fault. Buying a home should be a great experience I would recommend going to a builder that cares.

I want to start by saying we understand that the pandemic had a ginormous impact on this industry (shortage of material, labor, etc., we get that), but the level of service, workmanship, and follow through that we’ve experienced throughout our buying experience and post move-in, has been terrible to say the least. Workmanship issues on the exterior and interior were pointed out on our walkthrough, but ignored. Drywall/framing imperfections all throughout. Missing cabinets, appliances for months. No updates from sales, on-site PM, or customer service for weeks. Make sure you get an inspection or they will try to gloss over everything that should be fixed. If we ever do a new build again, it certainly will not be with Fulton. ... More

My wife and I love our new home. Fulton Homes has been great to work with in fixing the smaller issues after we moved in.

Finally moved into our home after 18 months of waiting and have had nothing but disappointment after disappointment. When we moved in, the house was FILTHY, like a construction zone still with sheet rock and dust everywhere. Too many things to name that weren’t working (electricity and doors not shutting just a few). 8 weeks later and things still not fixed. No stove top for 8 weeks, and ultimately told we couldn’t get the brand name stovetop we paid for. Completely different cabinets and flooring from what we picked out. The entire experience has been a headache and wouldn’t recommend.

So thankful this experience is over, because it has not been good. We’ve been in our home now for almost four months and there STILL are many things that need to be fixed. Management has horrible communication, one example: about 4-5 times people have come by to fix ONE issue yet they can’t fix it because they don’t have the right parts! It’s been extremely frustrating and disappointing. Also, the process for the completion of the home took too long. We knew several other people who started the process of a new build MONTHS after us and they received their home MONTHS before us. Every time we were contacted by Fulton homes, they just notified us of continual delays but never had a solution. Mr. Fulton should have done a better job ensuring the homes were being built properly and in a timely manner. Very disappointed with our experience, glad we’re finally in our incomplete home. ... Our sales rep (Tom) was great, and I felt like he truly was our advocate. Post sales of taking care of tickets and getting things repaired is horrific. We've been in our house for roughly 3 months, and have taken care of 2 or 3 things out of about 12.

The entire home building process was so pleasant with the Fulton Team.

My experience from Fulton Homes came from day 1. Our sales rep Shelly was rude, condescending, and acted like she was better than us. Throughout the process, no communications after repeated corrsepondence and until I wrote to Fulton Homes and complained. That lasted 2 weeks. I spent 18 months not knowing and had to drive back and forth to see the house because no one would give me an update. I love our house, but how many minutes does it take to give an update whether or not it's positive or negative. Why does it take me to point out errors when that's what a project manager is paid for? Covid and supply chain was always an excuse. I say otherwise. Regardless of progress, be truthful and compassionate when someone is buying a home. ... More

There were supply issues and delays. However, I believe the superintendent on our home was on top of the project and did everything in his power to accomplish goals.

For the most part it was a reasonable experience. Everything went good until we closed & it seemed like we just got put on the back burner. We were never getting responses on the online portal/warranty & then whenever we did & were told someone would be by the house on a specific day, no one would show up.

Overall our experience was good. We had to move in without all of the appliances which was unfortunate but this company was very responsive to our needs. Alex, the construction manager is phenomenal! This is the third home I've built and I must say working with Alex was the best experience of them all. Alex promptly scheduled all needed repairs and is always very kind and polite.

In this crazy process of home building, from the day we selected our lot to finish, took 18 months. Never had we experienced anything like it in home buying. But through it all, we always had questions answered and kept up to date by the sales team. They were empathic to our frustrations and did whatever they could to help us with the process. We are so happy with our home and glad we stuck it out. We had very minor issues once we moved in but am happy to say, they were fixed quickly. I only enjoyed the sale representative throughout the experience. The walk through of the home before purchasing it was not an easy one to encounter. Who want to hear no house is perfect before you sign? As of now, I am dealing with paint issues, weather strips on doors, an upgraded door we purchase that’s not installed properly. To be told that how it should be….. A hole in the celling where the heating and cooling guy step the wrong way, still waiting on that to get fix. Toilets that wobble and one that you need to flush twice. Countertops and drawers are not properly installed. But overall, I am happy to have a house. ... More

Delays. Lack of communication. Not having any information or knowledge about delays. Practically pulling out teeth to get workmanship issues fixed after house was completed. Waiting months and months for simple issues to be resolved before and after completion. Meanwhile Fulton model homes soared through completion without issues or delays. Feel forgotten after our home has been completed. Almost as if Fulton got their money from the lender and never looked back.

I will preface by saying this was not my first time building a home. I am happy with the overall product but the communication from the office staff and the supervisor (Marlon) was less than ideal. For example, if there is going to be an additional 4 month delay that you are aware of, communicate that to the buyer. Don't wait for us to pull it out of you when we think we are moving in in 6 weeks. We were also provided no appliances and no substitutes or even a gift card to buy a toaster. The front office (Mark) was extremely rude and offered no sympathy. Our neighbors received temporary items and we were told to fly a kite. The subcontractors were terrible and it seemed no one was checking their work in a timely fashion. I get that things need to be redone occasionally but why are we the ones to point them out when they should be caught. Overall the house is what we wanted but the experience was awful. ... More
