Overall we had a good experience working with Fulton Homes during the build process. We were relocating from Wyoming and working on this long distance posed some problems but the entire team worked with our ability to come to Phoenix and we were able to conduct all of our appointments with no disruption of the building process. There were minimal issues noticed after moving in and Fulton took care of those issues quickly and without any warranty hassle which is something you can't always say about warranty's!! When we were purchasing the home, we were placed in a waiting list with other builders while Fulton Homes stated they take pride in not having a waiting list or lottery on their lots. When the work force and material shortage occurred, Fulton could not get homes complete in a timely manner. The other builders that I passed on where I was called on for the waiting list were completing homes months faster than Fulton because they were manageable and not excessive. Fulton's "pride" ended up costing me additional percentage points on my rate since it took longer to build and rates continued to go up. Our superintendent onsite was great and has been very responsive to issues we have had. But Fulton Homes cost me more than other builders since they told me it would take 8-10 months to build and ended up taking 14 months. ... More

I’m extremely disappointed on how the community pool has not been built. HOA keeps going up. The main reason I purchased was to have a community pool and it is taking to long. There are other communities that have a pool.

This is our second Fulton Home. Both were exceptional.

I am very disappointed with Fulton’s new build experience. I understand construction shortages have been impacting builders and home buyers, however, this does not make an excuse for Fulton’s representatives to lie to their customers and cut corners during the build. Numerous major and minor issues were pointed out from the very beginning of the build to the very end and have yet to be fixed. This is unacceptable and if I would have known this is the way Fulton does business, I would have invested my time and money with a different builder. The quality and craftsmanship is horrible and the attitude for the representatives are even worse. Pat is Fulton’s realtor that told us everything we wanted to hear to get us to sign, only to find out the main selling points turned out to either be lies or misrepresented of how we were explained. Marlon was the project manager for our new build. I constantly pointed out major and minor issues to him and he response was “I’ll have someone come look at it”. 20% of the things he said he would fix, he actually fixed. And 50% of the things he had fixed were actually fixed correctly. Marlon intentionally and knowingly lied to me about having a damaged product replaced. I later found it out the product was not replaced and instead the damage was covered up thinking I would never find out. The time frame Fulton’s new build and quality of work, is just not worth it. I would very much like to have a representative for Fulton to contact me regarding my experience so I could go into more detail with my frustration with Fulton’s experience. We were behind in getting in our new home due to co-vid and shortages of materials. Once in our home there were few issues to resolve, and Fulton is still working on them. We are satisfied with the build and would recommend Fulton Homes to anyone interested in purchasing a new home.

Art was wonderful to work with. He is patient and honest and was very helpful throughout the entire process. He is the consummate professional.

The project manager in charge of construction was outstanding. He was there for anything and everything we needed. His attention to any concern we had was a really incredible.

Everything was less than exceptional in most part due to covid issues. That's understandable. Fulton superintendent Rick was exceptional considering the countertop contractor lying about the state of installation. Very nerve racking deciding to sign or not sign without countertops in place. Considering I told everyone about the issue two weeks before closing. Rick and Travis from fulton have taken careof all issues since then in a timely manner.

From the first day, the entire team has been very professional and caring. Ali and Tracy always made me feel like there were there for me. Josh, my project manager was very thorough and explained the process every step of the way. Since moving in about 3 weeks ago, Fulton’s Customer Satisfaction Team has been outstanding, making Sue that every detail is addressed immediately. Phillip is amazing! I submitted a work order for a noisy ceiling fan and he called me within minutes to ask if I was available for him to stop by. Fulton is awesome!

We were very excited to purchase our new home and loved the neighborhood!! We were told about the delays up front and were fine to wait 14months for our home with the promise of great quality. What a joke that statement is!! Our tile backsplashes look like a child did them and we had our master bathroom torn apart for over a month (was brought to their attention months before we closed). We had a softball sized hole in our wall at our Final Walkthrough which blew our minds!! The texture on our walls is sooo all over the place some areas are smooth and you can see the lines where they stopped and started. When it rains we can't walk on our yard or you'll sink 4inches into the ground (we were told well your yard passed certification so nothing we can do). Our AC was not hooked up right and we had to have someone come out to fix it. We were told a "startup was never done" and the caps were still on the hoses (we are lucky we didn't blow it up)!! Our marble tub and shower were damaged and are still awaiting repairs, along with awful stains in bathroom 3's tub. We still have no screen door even though other homes with no close date have them. Our cabinet is cracked in the master and our lazy Susan was left hanging (eventually the lazy Susan was fixed) The wood beams that attach the the porch areas weren't even touching the house!! Those had to be redone and our house still over 30 days later sits with white patch paint everywhere!! Our sliding glass door still does not lock and we have to put a PVC pipe down for safety. The workers behind us put a hole in our back wall by rinsing out their drywall equipment and whitewashed all of our brand new rock which is now completely ruined. Don't even bother with Tom or Steven they are useless. Steven makes up lies and excuses and is very immature, while Tom is sooo incredibly arrogant and rude it's unreal!! Tom tells you to contact customer service for items that are assigned to him to take care of!! Donna and Tony in Customer service have been amazing and are helping us Finally get stuff taken care of after being ignored for over a month by Tom and Steven. Lynn and Art were awesome throughout all of this and continue to try to help with this mess (5stars for them, Donna and Tony)!! After what we paid for this house and how long we waited, what we are going through to get items fixed and taken care of is just unreal and unacceptable!! We really feel disappointed as this is not even close to the "Fulton Promise". ... More

Sales department was great but customer service after closing has been disappointing. We are awaiting completion of several issues and Fulton is not responding in a timely manner.

We love our home. The home is perfect. The salesmen and formen...foremen not so great. There were lots of delays due to building material issues but no one kept in touch with us or informed us of anything that was happening. Our calls were rarely returned and the foremen was rude as if we were bothering him for asking for updates on our home that had been delayed 6 months past the expected delivery date. We did not feel valued at all.

Overall, our experience working with Fulton Homes was good. Frustrating at times with all the delays getting our house done. Took an extra 7 months to get the keys to our home. Still missing screens for atrium doors and have a brand new dishwasher that has never worked. Had to have GE send out someone to inspect and ended up ordering 3 parts. After waiting 5-6 weeks for parts, they were installed and still dishwasher doesn't work. 4th part ordered and if this doesn't work, we are demanding a new dishwasher. Looking forward to the day when nothing else has to be fixed, adjusted or replaced.

Overall we had a positive experience with Fulton. The sales team was great throughout the process and in the end we are happy with our product. Unfortunately there are a couple things that brought our rating down. 1. To me, the building in the neighborhood was incredibly miss managed. At the time, Fulton was one of the only builders who wasn’t limiting the build starts. This lead to major issues once the material supply issues hit. Many houses in the neighborhood sat at the framing stage in the elements not dried in for months. 2. During the process a few questions came up that the sales team couldn’t answer. The questions were escalated promptly, but it took myself and the sales team multiple follow ups to get an answer, and when we did it was short, condescending, and uninformative. In the end I would probably buy from Fulton again, but I don’t believe they lived up to the quality reputation they have had in the past. ... More

We waited for one and a half years for the house to be closed. But appliances and screens were still missing on the close date. After closing, they have to come to my house multiple times to fix the squeaking flooring, damaged garage door panel, chipped marble countertop, install the screens..... This made the new home buying process so painful.

Patience a lot of it

Been in our home and can barely get workers to come fix what needs to be fixed. When someone comes in to fix things from walkthrough, something else needs to be fixed from something else getting broke.

We understand that it's unreasonable to expect perfect work when there are hundreds of workers doing thousands of jobs. On our walkthrough we were told to expect things to be fixed, to be made right. Great! But most things weren't made right, most issues weren't resolved. For example, if they would just fix our upstairs floors, and put in our keypad entry on our garage, we could live with a lot of the lesser issues. We were told to submit requests into the system, which we did, and that in time these issues would be addressed. A few got acknowledged. Great! But many, we don't even know if they've been seen. We haven't gotten acknowledgement that Fulton is aware of these issues, and any ETA on working on them. It's frustrating to live in house with issues that should have been fixed before we moved in. It's frustrating to not know when these issues will be addressed, or even if they've been seen. When we put in a request asking where our document listening the issues went, and whether or not we should resubmit the document, and where we are at in dealing with any of the issues listed in the document, we got no acknowledgement of this request. We understand everyone is extremely busy, but meanwhile we're not only living with frustrating issues, but we don't even know if they've been acknowledged or what we're supposed to do. ... More

They use mostly subcontractors as I guess it's usual in the industry but the level of responsiveness and accountability when something was wrong, depends on the professionalism of that subcontractor engaged. If the subcontractor is good, things are fixed and Fulton takes credit, but If there's a failure on the subcontractor part, the customer care team and specially the project manager collapses to a state of unresponsiveness and negligence.

Our salesman, Ali was exceptional. From start to finish he was with us through the entire process and quick to respond to any questions.
