Team from beginning to end is trustworthy and experienced. Made me feel comfortable and they were extremely reliable. Frustration was definitely the wait time for certain items, but most of that was out of the control of the Fulton team. Still waiting on pavers for front and back yard, which is really frustrating. Trying to be patient. Area that really needs improvement is the painting team. Our floors are a disaster because of all the paint dripped on them. When buying a new home, scraping paint off the floors should not be an expectation passed on to the homeowner.

Quality of kitchen cabinets is very poor. These are not custom cabinets as were advertised by seller. If known these were the cabinets that were being installed, would not have bought this house.

Our experience hasn’t been as bad as others in our neighborhood but we’ve still had issues, issues that I never had when I bought my first house 10 yrs ago for half the price and 50% larger than this one. I use to consider Fulton at the higher end of the average home builders (as in not custom and not $1m dollar homes) but after this house they’ve kinda of just slipped into average.

My new Fulton home is my 3rd new build and my 1st by Fulton; it will be my last by Fulton. I don't blame Fulton Homes for any of the delays or shortages; clearly not their fault. There are a great many things though that are well within their control that I I feel could have been handled better. Fulton Homes believes in covering up mistakes, not actually fixing them. If they can hide the problem with paint or caulking then you can rest assured that's what will happen. I have 3 doors in my house where the door jams on one side of the door don't sit flush with the wall....all they did was fill in the gap with caulking. That will eventually crack and shrink and will be a problem for as long as I own the house. Base boards and casing. Can't say "wow' enough. Lots of putty that was never sanded down and just painted over. I was told by the Superintendent that I wasn't going to get a perfect home and I needed to account for the "human error" factor. That is an amazingly bad excuse to explain away low standards and poor oversight. What really happened was the holes got puttied but never sanded. They then got painted over and that was all she wrote. Who's in charge to ensure they get sanded? The Superintendent or his Assistant. Maybe that was the "human error" I was supposed to factor in? The painters. Holly Hell. Worse I've ever seen. They don't use drop clothes, get splatter everywhere to include on the kitchen counters and cabinets, on the floor and the cut lines are as wavy as the ocean. When I brought the issue of the poor workmen ship of the painters up, I was told "I know, I know". Am I the only one who sees a problem here? I was told the painters have been a problem for awhile, but there is no one else to do the work. So Fulton, instead of hiring their own in house painting crews to ensure their "legendary Fulton Quality" home, they use crappy subcontractors who do poor work to save money. Fulton Homes recommended Poco Verde Landscape to do our front yard. They are Fulton Homes "preferred" landscape company. I hired them to put my front yard in. The communication with Poco Verde wasn't good. We left their office believing the front yard cost would just be rolled into the mortgage. It wasn't. We had no reason to believe it would be as the extended driveway and artificial turf got installed but we were told everything else we would have to pay for out of pocket. Poco Verde wanted over $4k to finish the work. We went with a different company and paid a lot less for better work. Fulton Homes "recommend" means nothing to me anymore. We purchased this home when Fulton was initialing releasing lots in the community. We were told upfront by the sales representative (Art), that they would not have definitive closing dates for a while, and it could take up to a year to complete. We were willing to wait for this community. With all the labor and material shortages, it has been a strain on Fulton and other builders. But the Fulton representatives were great throughout the process, keeping us in the loop as to the progress of the home. The design center team was great and very helpful in choosing items for the home. The sales & closing team were excellent with their communication and knowledge. The customer service department has been great, correcting items that came up during the final walk through. We still have a couple open items, but we have no doubt that the Fulton team will complete them to our satisfaction. ... More

I am not happy with the vendor of screen door/window, the install is delay for over a month, and I still don't know when they will be able to come. They don't have a work schedule themselves.

The Sales and Project Manager have been great to work with and the support staff has been excellent. They have all been trustworthy and very responsive to issues we have raised. Fulton lost points on their workmanship and materials. Their painters were subpar.

I need more space to write exact details, but we were lied to several times during the process. The communication was some if the worst I've ever experienced. The home is beautiful, the quality is great. However I would strongly recommend Mr Fulton take a deep dive into the integrity of the Escalante sales team.

Building a new house can be quite an experience during normal times. But during covid and all of the issues it caused, from lack of workers to lack of materials, Fulton did a good job of getting our house done and ready to live in. The build process was long and frustrating for all of us, but Fulton's sales staff did a good job of keeping us apprised of delays and progress throughout. The construction foreman and his assistant were very helpful and listened to us also. Overall we are very pleased with the final quality of the home. We have been very happy with our Fulton purchase. The home is solid quality. We had a great experience with Tracy in Sales, Design Center, Josh and Torrey. Great people who take pride in their work.

Size of rooms and room for upgrades.

I closed on a new build and did not expect so many quality issues and lack of care to get things done correctly. The project manager was terrible which is the biggest reason for all the problems. He was completely fine signing off on my home and hoping to move on from his poor work. There needs to be a quality control person to hold project manager and subcontractors accountable. Communication was terrible and I was lied to about numerous things getting ordered and given excuses for why things are not done right. I closed on my home Dec 9th 2021 and every week since then I have been taking time off work to wait for subcontractor to correct issues from damaged cabinets or missing cabinet doors/shelves, paint, missing and damaged appliances, missing window screens, front hard scape delays, delayed hot water to fixtures, poor paint quality. It is now January 25th 2022 and I’m still having to deal with this. It’s a shame and I would not recommend buying from this builder. The only thing I love is the neighborhood and the people that have moving in. Everyone is so friendly and has dealt with same issues. Our home is beautiful and well constricted. There were some issues due to supply chain problems. We were not able to get some appliances we ordered and moved in without an oven. We were ok with this as we were made aware of these issues ahead of time. When we moved in the kitchen faucet was not working correctly. I would have have thought this would have been seen when installed but I guess it was not tested. Took over a month and three service calls to get corrected. If you buy a spec home ask what is included and what options are not available.

Fulton homes made it a great experience from beginning to end!

We could not wait to move into our new home. After 14 months it was finally time. They told us we wouldn’t have appliances, mirrors. No problem! We wanted to get in. After the inspection we brought up some issues, most of them were fixed. I had to call them multiple times to come out to fix the door handle to pantry door as it fell week one, week 2 the drawer in the kitchen fell apart. Paint was missing. You could tell the home was rushed, no attention to detail. We paid half of million dollars for a very poor quality home. After a month….. we still don’t have a master mirror. The project manager never follows up, i have to constantly text and they are rude when they respind. His response to my question of “anything on the mirror yet?” His response “nope” then after that “oh one came and it was broken”. I am just waiting to get this mirror and hopefully not have to communicate with them again. I absolutely get COVID… everyone is short staffed but i did expect better communication and more professionalism. I do have to say Jack the sales person, was always in communication, very kind and profesional. He is about the only one i would deal with again. ... More

Great job. Everyone was helpful from start to finish.

We were in a cabinet delay for 5 months but yet the customer service of everyone from the front office to the project managers was amazing! They did their very best to accomodate us even with the pandemic shortages. We love our new Fulton home!

The time frame was off due to workers not wanting to work so that hurt the industry when they set a move in date

Delays were awful, which wasn't Fulton's fault, but the communication was horrible. We checked on the house as it was being built and it looked like a 5 year old framed it.

This is the 2nd time I've bought a new home. In this experience, there were a lot of options that I could've included in my new home. I chose to remain conservative as much as possible but that wasn't easy. As we walked through each process, it was hard to imagine how much control I had in the placement, construction and options to build my new home. I know that constructing a new home is a lot of time involved in the process but Fulton Homes made that easy for me. They had already preselected many amenities and upgrades that I could add into my build. I didn't realize how many things I could add or upgrade until the day of my upgrading process. It took almost the whole day but I really needed the time to sort out through the whole process. In the end, I'm extremely happy with the build but regretted being too conservative in my thinking. There were a few things I wish I did add to the upgrade list that would've added value to my new home. Value being the happiness of a home I enjoy living in. I'm still happy but as each day goes by, I'm still having a fantastic time in my new surroundings, the friendly neighbors and the warm welcoming environment that AZ has given to us.
