Good experience.

Even though this review is coming out late, I must say highlandhomes Truly proved us wrong. The quality of service they put in was exceptional and on time. I would highly recommend.

The house we purchased was a very good value and priced right for what all was included. The craftsmanship and attention to detail was impressive as our home feels complete. I enjoyed working with Lindsey from Highland homes. She was very professional and was always available to answer any questions we had.

Highland Floor Plans are amazing! That being said the experience and attention to detail in workmanship was not as expected. Small things here and there to be finished is to be expected after closing on new construction. Having to call back because workmanship is sloppy should not happen. Pointing out issue with work performed and being told it will be fixed because I don't like it when in actuality the work should be re-accomplished because it was poorly done is ridiculous. That doesn't include the design process where change orders are lost or not submitted. This is not what we expected at close to $600K price point in a beautiful community. ... More

We closed almost two months ago and they are still working on our house. I feel the work has been sloppy and not well done. It looks like I am fixing a used home instead of moving into a new home! I would not buy from them again! My mistake was closing before the house was completely finished!!! The price we paid does not reflect the quality of the home. We are very disappointed!

since Highland is moving out of this community least care was taken to the customers. Construction manager feels customers are slaves for him. How many times we need to follow up to get the issues resolved. We bought a brand new home so that , there no issues and we are good at least for 2 years. Till date in last 45 days, i had issues with my Air conditioner and roof. I don't know what all are pending. Had faith in highland homes till i bought this home. But now its a question mark.

Would rebuild over and over again with Highland. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Don’t like painted hinges and brown windows in a gray house

I love my home.

Overall the home is awesome. Small things that could have easily been fixed before I moved in were clogged drains, scratches on the cabinets, front door finish, yard watering system issues, etc. Highland Homes was responsive to fix the issues.

Highland Homes are good. It is a better home than a lot of other builders I’ve seen. Certain things could have been done better.

They seem to do things that are a step above the competition with their product: tankless water heater, irrigation system, full sodding front and back etc.. The office and construction manager were diligent and thorough in each process of our purchase. We have even had a brief warranty claim issue, which was handled promptly and effectively with urgency from all parties involved. Very pleased with our new home and would highly recommend Highland Homes to a new buyer.

Great experience overall.

Actually disappointed with the new build construction and lack of responsiveness with our Highland home. (Quite inferior to our previous Builder home/experience). No doubt that the bones of the house are quality; however, overshadowed by the subpar craftsmanship of the internal and external finish out. Several major issues pointed out to the construction manager during the building process along with many cosmetic issues prior to closing. Unable to use our master shower upon move in and zero faith that any of our issues will now be address since the money has now been funded to Highland. Just to list a few: chunks of concrete missing on sidewalks and patio, grout lines of disarray and missing completely in some places, 2 doors damaged, backsplash tile uneven, broken marble in the master bath, drywall cracks and visible seams, and paint on tile, wooden floors and on trim. We have lost faith in Highland Homes and would not recommend them. ... More

Sales team and builder did an excellent job. House was completed as designed on time.

The entire process went great from start to finish. We bought a spec home and used Highland financing for our purchase. All the Highland employees from the sales associate to the loan officer were always ready to answer our questions and made the process stress free and pleasant. The construction manager did an excellent job addressing what issues were found during the inspection and everything was competed well before closing. We went with Highland Homes because of their excellent reputation and they definitely delivered with our purchase.

For the price pointe, Highland homes builds a respectable home.

make sure you do your homework before you go to the design center. There are a lot of choices and it helps if you have an idea of what you want
