The sales and financing process was so easy!

Loved the quality and customer service. The team was easy to work with and our home is just beautiful!

We absolutely love our house, we tried to be a part of it through much of the process. Timelines and apparent work shortages cause us to do an initial walkthru before the house was even complete. Not everything identified was fixed prior to purchase and now that everything has to go through "warranty" service and response has dwindled considerably. We still have a laundry list of items and haven't heard much from highland. Up until this point we felt much more positive about our overall experience, just seems typical now to forget the customer once the home is delivered.

I really enjoy living in my new home. The quality of workmanship was excellent and knowing that it’s very energy efficient makes me happy to have purchased a home from Highland homes.

The community is great and the ease for us to get the home we wanted could not have gone more smoothly! The people were friendly and very helpful.

From the start to the finish they were a great company to work with on the build of my first new home. Gracie was my sales rep and she was amazing from the beginning to the closing.

As a family who has moved many times and built with various builders over the years, I can honestly say that Highland Homes at Fairway Ranch has been the best builder and building experience we have ever had! Aleasha at Sales office and Jeff as Building Supervisor have been so responsive to our requests, I could not ask for anything more. Quality of workmanship apparent

The process from start to finish was challenging at times, but the team at Highland always came through. The communication from the Sales Rep, Hector and the Project Manager Jim, made all the difference for me. When there was an issue to be addressed, they were both available and attentive to resolve in a timely matter. The home turned out beautifully and I would highly recommend Highland, specifically the Team that I worked with. Thank you!

The Builders and Reps at Highland are very Thorough in all aspects and Very friendly like Family! Every phone call and questions I had were answered in a very timely manner! We Love Our Highland Home!

My only interior problem is with the USB UBS? plugs. They don't let you plug anything into them. I have waited weekS for someone to come take them out. I have been using extension cords that are not handy or safe and I am tired of it. And for an energy efficient home, I am surprised that 11 lights come on in the bathroom with one switch! There is no other choice. The garage is so small there is no place for storage. My main complaint with the yard is how uneven the dirt was before they laid the sod. It is lumpy, uneven, with ruts and hard to walk on. It gets very muddy from lack of proper drainage. It slants too much, on the side of the home, to even walk on it safely. I hate it! ... More

I canceled contract with Lennar to go with Highland Homes and I regretted it! Sales person was very aggressive and all over. Wasn't even there for closing or call to see how everything went. Not attention to detail nor concern with my needs. Always pushing my concern or additional work to outside source that is clearly a conflict of interest. Home quality is not there, I paid additional cost to update my kitchen cabinets and let's say the workmanship is terrible. Landscaping work is terrible! Have ask them to repair and still no change after three months.

...we moved in two months ago and still have zero options for cable/internet. It’s 2019, the internet is not optional! Should have been ready to go before closing! Otherwise great house and great experience.

I would like to compliment Chris our CM for an amazing job and personality. He made us feel very Comfortable. He did an outstanding job in a timely manner and I’m grateful that he built our house. His bedside manner was incredible. In the end Highland is lucky to have Chris as an employee.

From the day we went to just look at Waterscape, Highland was the first model home and ended up being the ONLY model home we chose to go into. We fell in love with it the minute we walked in. Zach, our sales counselor, did a tremendous job at showing the value of everything included and we ended up getting a bigger home at the incredible price it was priced at. Judy, our design specialist, truly went the extra mile to show us what would make the house stand out without going overboard in design costs. Lastly, our construction manager Chris outdid himself. The amount of workmanship and artistry that was put into the building process has led to nothing but speechless comments when we have guests come to visit. I have not one complaint with Highland and will only ever recommend them to anyone I come across. ... More

Great experience

the quality of workmanship and materials are ok, based on what you pay for. But they house should have been cleaned more prior to moving in. We've only lived in this house for over a month, and will have it inspected by 6 months time before warranty expires.

The home buying process was great. This is my first new home in 20 years. We heard stories from others about difficulties with their new homes and the buying process. So, we expected the some difficulties. Highland Homes was great. The construction manager gave a thorough walk through and all items were addressed quickly. I have already given recommendations to friends and family to buy from Highland Homes

We couldn't be happier with the choice we made to buy a Highland Home. It started with our first experience with the sales rep and has continued with our builder through our move in date. They go above and beyond to provide great service and their product is top notch. Highly recommended!

Our entire experience from the start has been excellent with Highland Homes. Jeff and Colette were wonderful when we were buying and Shane has been an extremely responsive and thorough builder. The build quality of our new home is excellent and minor adjustments are handled immediately to our utmost satisfaction.

Make sure that you ask questions and convey your needs and concerns that are realistic. Give the staff enough time to follow up and coordinate with their outside resources and sub contractors to take care of work task. Keep check of lists and compare with the staff. Patience is a virtue and everyone will appreciate it and work diligently on your behalf. We are so thankful for the excellent staff whom helped build our home!

The entire sales process was great. From Andrew, our rep, to Mike, the builder, to all the guys that built the home and came in and out to address any and all warranty issues. This was out first time buying a home and Highland has set a high standard for a new home buying process. I doubt we ever leave Klein Orchard but if we do, we’ll purchase from Highland again.
