We had a few issue due to poor workmanship on contractors or possibly unknowing mistakes but overall anything that was broken was fixed quickly and completely by Justin. Our builder manager was great and always there for us.

We Love our new Highland Home. From the sales to the Contractor to the warranty we have had the best experience. Everyone is so nice and easy to work with. They even put up with how picky we are. Our home turned out Beautiful and we love that it is a one story but looks like a two story. Could not have asked for a smoother transaction!

The plan, the construction, the space between houses, are outstanding. The prices of buying, construction and moving in run smoothly. Thanks!

We've been our new Highland Home for nearly 2 months. The process began with Lesli (sales consultant for HH) assisting in the navigation of our new build. During the build the construction process our Construction Manger, Brian was extremely responsive and continues to be so after we've occupied our new home. The HH warranty system is easy to use and provides a critical assurance factor to our purchase. We've already recommended Highland Homes to several of our friends.

Great buying process

We love our home and were overall pleased with the process. The only complaint we had was that the little things were sloppy. We have white tile in our master that we have paint, caulk, and glue on. They laid the tile early in construction and did not protect it. We keep finding little finishing things like spots that aren't painted, thing that should have been painting that were simply rubbed with calk to cover instead, sloppy paint and drawers that don't run properly. Other than the little things our home is perfect.

Great home overall for the money paid. All issues found by a third party inspector were resolved in a timely manner. The issues were courteously explained and addressed. The construction manager,Jose, had a great personality and responded to our needs in a professional manner. The sales counselor,Susan, was great to work with and was diligent in taking care of our every need during the homebuying process.

Overall, the sales process, lender and closing services with the title company was very good. However, the operations, ( builder and warranty service) has been less than satisfactory. It took serval calls to get someone to respond to our requests for warranty service. Our original builder did a walk through the less then a week before closing and a final one a day before closing. There were still issues with our house the day before we closed. The were some things wrong with our home that that was very obvious and which should have been addressed, yet he chose not to. We have someone else assigned to us due to the fact that our original builder's unsatisfactory response for service and the fact that he waited until the day before closing to do a walkthrough with us. The fact that there were details that still needed to be addressed and/or corrected a day before is completely inexcusable. Highland has worked with us to develop a plan to correct the issues we had. They have not given us a problem with any of the parts of the build that we were dissatisfied with; in fact on many levels of their organization they have proved that they cared. Once we were able to make a schedule that worked for both of us they worked quickly and on time to deliver with minimal long term disruption to our home. We are satisfied with the outcome.

Everyone, from sales to managers to workers, are very professional. The house is gorgeous and any issues are addressed immediately. I highly recommend Highland to anyone!

My house is valued at $305,000. While that's not on the more expensive end of the spectrum of what homes can cost, it is still hundreds of thousands of dollars. I expected better quality workmanship in this home. The paint, the cocking, the cleaning, the baseboards, etc. are all consistent with what you would expect from a rented apartment. In fact, they remind me a lot of the apartments I lived in during my college days. For a house that I paid hundreds of THOUSANDS of dollars for, I expected better quality workmanship.

Highland was a great company to work with. Our Salesman Will was amazing and Kelsie went out of her way to address all of our questions very quickly. Alex did a great job overseeing the building of the house and ensured that everything was just as expected.

Paint is everywhere, cracked tiles in the bathroom that still haven't been fixed. Leaking water line that they haven't come back to fix either. Will not buy another home from them.

Anna, sales manager of Mustang Lakes was a pleasure to work with. She knows how to connect with the buyer at a personal level to understand the budget and provides amazing options to meet the need. Thanks to her patience, creativity and professionalism to make this experience amazing for us for years to come. Greg, construction manager was prompt, polite, educational, patient, responsive and amazing to work with to complete this project. His timely update, response and closing out actions were worry free for us to focus on our daily life. I do find highland base options do not measure up to the quality of the home they build. We ended up upgrading most of the things that challenged our budget and total price of the house. Thanks to Anna to be creative to help us navigate this within our budget. Local Highland Team are great. Local Subcontractors are Poor. Product and materials vary from good to poor. Processes need work.
