Our sales agent Heather and our build manager Mark walked us through the entire process with care and ease. Any and all questions we had along the way were addressed and communicated to us clearly and expediently even on a day to day basis in some cases with any concern or clarification we inquired about. We had a great experience working with Lane (Construction Manager) and Lula (Sales Counselor). They made our process building feel comfortable and seamless. This is not our first time building but first with Highland and would build again in a heartbeat if it was Lane leading the build. He was very trustworthy and honest with everything that was going on with our build. That goes a long way when you're trusting someone to build your dream home! We appreciated and looked forward to our weekly updates keeping us informed of everything going on. My wife & I have been in our home for a little over 2 months now and still marvel at how beautiful it is! Highland, and David B. with Highland, have been great throughout the process. From planning, build, closing, and follow-up, he's been our ally throughout the process doing whatever it takes to ensure everything goes smoothly. The communication, pictures, etc. were all very much appreciated, especially with us living 5 hours away during the construction process.

Highland Homes built our beautiful home in Celina, TX, and we couldn’t be more grateful for how it all came together. Like any new build, there were moments where we had concerns, but Highland really showed up for us. Their supervisor got personally involved, stayed in close touch, and made sure every issue was handled the right way. They listened, followed through, and sent the right people as many times as it took to make things right. That level of care built our trust—and in the end, they delivered not just a house, but a home we truly love.

The entire process was good, and I was fairly compensated for the six months delay. The house was exactly as I expected it to be. I am happy with the price I paid; it was a good value. Highlands Homes is a trustworthy company; they provided everything that was promised to me, I would recommend Highland Homes for anyone planning to build.

Choose your house engineer carefully if you can. Make sure they actually understand what’s happening inside the house. In my case, the concrete was poured on a rainy day, which led to cracks. Any concerns I raised were brushed off as “common.” There was no blue-tape walkthrough, even a month after moving in, supposedly due to a “new Highland policy.” A design center mistake caused mismatched grout in the bathrooms that was never corrected, even though I was told verbally it would be. Several promises were made but not delivered. As a corner lot, we were supposed to receive upgraded side trees, which never happened. I was also told the exterior electrical setup would be finalized later, but that discussion never took place. Highland might build great homes, but your experience really depends on The Who is over seeing your project builder you get. ... More

Building a Highland Home is a one-of-a-kind experiences and an unforgettable experience. The entire team was an absolute delight to work with. Jason and Jared were especially great.

We bought an inventory home and have been impressed with the quality of workmanship and materials. The style and space fit our needs well. Our builder continues to be accessible well after the purchase, which has been very helpful. After a few months of living in our home, I’d recommend Highland to friends and family.

I know that I’m particular person in custom choices but Highland was wonderful. Christi is the best sales person I’ve worked with in ages. And, I truly love our home and lot.

City to the Suburbs When we first started looking for a new home we weren’t expecting to fall for our Highland Home the way we did. We honestly were just entertaining the idea of moving from the city to the suburbs but the home was so amazing. Jason was great from our first model home tour to being so flexible with our schedule and understanding of what we were looking for as a family. Overall was a good experience. They changed the construction managers several times and there was no communication among them. I had to repetedly communicate the same thing again and again when a new manager is assigned. Sales rep was great and provided all necessary information and answees our questions

This has been by far one of the best house buying experience I have had so far. They have taken care of every single warranty item. Makenna is very responsive and has taken care of us since day one.

We had wanted to move away from chilly New England to sunny Austin & searched far & wide… after 50+ properties, we fell in love with the Highland designs & pragmatic floorplans. However, what truly sealed the deal was how amazing Avery & Whitaker were, accommodating our every requests. They were like hospitality executives anticipating our needs at every turn, before, during and even after closing. This is our second new construction purchase and we are blown away by how thoughtful, professional and responsive throughout the process. We were even asked where we would like the robe hooks should be located ! There is no quality assurances. There is no trust to installer. After moved in and spent time cleaning up the house. I found out there are lots of damages, uncleaned while installing. If something they thought buyer can't see at walk through. they left damaged products in new home.
