We had a great experience from time we walked into the model home. The sale personnel was wonderful and very informed about the home and the future of neighborhood. The builder was outstanding. He answered all questions and made many changes that we ask for and still made closing date. They made sure we were informed and our dream home was a huge success. The most important thing which never happens is that they have been engaged since closing making sure we had all we needed. Highland Homes is outstanding and caring. They are in this for the home owner happiest.

Our experience with Highland Homes was positive from the sales side of the transaction. Both of the sales persons we worked with were attentive before, during, and after the sale. Hector continues to be a great resource, even a month after living in the house. The construction side of the transaction was nothing short of disappointing. The subcontractors used are subpar with no accountability or pride for craftsmanship. Every aspect of the house required rework other than the quartz countertops. Rework to a degree is expected; however, for a couple examples, brick was redone several times due to install quality issues, tile was installed and redone three times, wrong light and plumbing fixtures installed, the upstairs HVAC system was not working prior to closing, and one month after living in the home, is still not fixed. The list literally goes on. The issue with all of this is the construction manager was not identifying these issues himself due to lack of supervision of the project, and poor management of correcting the issues, resulting in things having to be redone several times before being acceptable. We sent weekly emails with lists of items that needed to be corrected because they were not being identified by the construction manager. Many of these issues would have been buried or would have caused many other issues if not addressed in real time. We ended up with a beautiful house because we managed the build. to many things were undocumented about the community for us being one of the early buyers that became concerning (power poles, location of mail boxes, timing for amenities) . the amount of time allowed in the design center was not enough if you want to review materials outside the "free" selections. the construction process is very wasteful and reactive - fixing things at the end versus at the time of the installment to avoid noticeable patch work. The sales team support and closing process was great and easy. the construction checkpoints and walkthroughs were very helpful. we had a few items carry over items after close and ALL of the items were addressed promptly ... I can't say enough positive things about Highland Homes! They made the entire process seamless and stress-free from the initial sales meeting to the final walkthrough. Alicia was our salesperson and was amazing throughout the entire process. Jordan was our construction manager, and he made sure to communicate each phase of the build. He was never too busy to address any of our questions or concerns. We built our dream home with Highland and would 100% recommend them to anyone looking to build their home!

My wife and I looked at a number of floor plans from various builders and always kept coming back to Highland. The space to value ratio just made sense. The space feels just right and the quality met our expectations. The Highland team has been great to work with!

We entered the process late as our home was already designed and built. We had a couple minor changes requested though and Highland graciously took on the scope to help turn the house into the home we want. Mason clearly and frequently gave us the necessary updates amd allowed us time to come by, walk through, amd even schedule third party vendors for things like window treatments. Highland knows how bring the right value home!

During my search for a home I looked at several builders but when I walked into the Dove Hollow model I knew I had found my builder. The offered a home that met the things I was looking for in my home. I knew immediately my search was over. The sales team was excellent, answered my many questions, even after I was under contract. They have been very responsive to all requests for minor fixes since moving.

Seamless process conducting walkthrough and was flexible making amends on some demands. Quality building materials.

The Building Process was fun. There was a couple of things that scared me while we where building like beer cans and crack pipes that where found at my homesite that was kinda brushed off from the salesman but the construction manger did apologize for that. A couple of days before closing there was a huge water leak that flooded the front half of the house but was fixed. We have been in the home for two months now and still find issues that get addressed asap. The only issue I’m still having are the quality of my cabinets and still fighting to get them to repaint them or replace them.

The experience with him is not quite good, there are some upgrades in the house that was not mentioned and it was too late to add it in, and there are some that are missing like a middle shelve in the main closet and he said it doesn't have one and the corner edge of the bathroom tiles doesn't have covering and its showing all the roughness of the tiles and there's one towel holder in one of the bathroom that is missing. There are paint issues all over the house that its not address yet. Not satisfied, might sell the house.

construction manager missed upgrades, sales team gave no updates or responses, and important options were never presented during selections. Extremely disappointing.

Highland Homes is a quality home, especially for the price and the team support throughout the build process. They were quick to respond to our requests and followed through on their commitments. This was our second Highland Home purchase. Julie is always awesome.

I am very happy with my Highland home build. This is my third home to purchase, but my first one with Highland. Previous to this Home I had a custom build on acreage. In comparison, I am extremely satisfied with the craftsmanship of this home and honestly, the personal attention received from the Highland team! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a home!

What can I say, except there was never a single ounce of hesitation or concern that we were in the right place and in the right hands. From the moment we walked into the model home and community, which instantly felt less like a showcase and more like an actual home, we knew where we wanted to be. The Highland sales representatives welcomed us with warmth, hospitality, a level of trust, truth and honesty, along with a knowledge of the build and willingness to understand our needs that immediately put us at ease. Our project manager carried that trust all the way through, keeping us informed (and calm) even during the inevitable slow stretches of progress. We will always say that his Thursday evening emails were the best part of our Friday mornings and start to our weekend. We couldn’t be happier that we were paired with him and to be in charge of our build. We feel incredibly lucky, grateful, and honestly a little in awe that we have this opportunity to live in such an incredible community and amazing home. We had a very positive experience with Avery, Andrew and the Highland Lending ladies. Everyone was genuinely looking out for our best interests. We worked the most and the longest with Andrew, and he went above and beyond!!! He was positive, kind, very knowledgeable, and quick to respond. We highly recommend working with the Highland Homes group! The homes are beautiful, well build with well thought out plans/features. We love our Highland Home!

Chad, Mike and Lisa made this seeming insurmountable task an easy, one step at a time process. They were encouraging and helpful from start to finish and now beyond.

This is the first time I have built a house and I picked the right builder. Gracie and Conner were both great to work with. Had a question, they would get back to you within a couple of hours. The entire process from picking out my house plans to picking the lot, to deciding on what kind of interior I wanted went without a hitch. I would highly recommend Highland Homes, Gracie and Conner for anyone looking to build a new home.

Overall, good experience with sales person and loan officer and initial phase of home buying. Not so good with construction supervisor. Move in cleaning was promised but not done. Some repair work was notified before the closing but not done until notified again. Expected better customer service experience.

We were able to close on a new build in 30 days. Great experience.

We have purchased many homes but this has been the best experience & the least stressful. From sales person Sandra, to the construction manager Dalton & Wendy at the design center; all are professional, responsive & easy to work with. They addressed any issues we had & in a very timely manner. The home was built properly & professionally. We had other options but glad we chose Highland. We will be here for a long time.

David was such a great and responsive project manager from the beginning of structural selections to the closing walkthrough appointments. He explained everything thoroughly at our appointments and during the final walkthrough the house. He was able to send extra pictures and videos of our house throughout the phases and super flexible with our out-of-state schedule. He was very friendly and easy to work with by communicating through text/phone calls. David addressed all of our concerns and requests after we closed. overall, the experience was positive. The points of contact were responsive and helpful through the entire project.

They do not respond to customer complaints! My house had several issues, plumbing( leaking pipes, grout cracks in shower, and around primary tub, they damaged my guest tub and tried to patch it up thinking that I would not notice. Drywall unleveled through out the house, driveway damaged, gate handle bent, kitchen cabinet under stove does not open. Kitchen and bathroom cabinets damaged!!! Several windows damaged, sensors fell off the windows. I could go on but I am so frustrated. All of this is as before I closed. They were supposed to fix the items. Kept getting the run around from the project manager!!! Lies basically!!! We will take care of it. Set up a several dates for availability and no response! Only when they want to be available? The is no miscommunication, just lack of accountability from the builder. Yesterday my family member was at the house all day and only the grout guy showed up. The cabinet, paint, tub guy to fix the tub…concrete guy for the driveway. It’s been two months. I just made the first payment on a lemon! I have made several complaints. Meanwhile, they are throwing up houses in the neighborhood. ... More

We recently built our new home with Highland Homes and couldn’t be happier with the entire process. From start to finish, both our sales representative and our builder went above and beyond to accommodate every modification we needed for our child in a wheelchair. Nothing about our home feels cookie cutter, which was extremely important to us. The team’s responsiveness and attention to our unique needs was truly unmatched. Alan, David, and Lance kept us in the loop throughout the entire buying/building process. Gai from the loan department, also did great reaching back to us whenever we had questions. We hired a 3rd party inspector for the pre-drywall inspection and final inspection. David and Lance addressed and fixed ALL the concerns our inspector found. I would highly recommend Highland Homes to all our family and friends.
