We really enjoyed the PURCHASING process of buying our first home. The sales team was always attentive and the office staff were more than welcoming when we were signing our documents to close. Construction is a different story, while the home seems to be built well our construction manager is little to no help at all. Every single question we have asked has been answered, but answered incorrectly. We have been given several answers to our questions which has resulted in hundreds of dollars of wasted money because the construction team has given us incorrect info. I think they need to reevaluate who they are hiring to manage these houses and make sure the people in the field know what they are talking about before they start answering questions. ... More

My experience At Highland townhome has been exceptionally welcoming! Thank you, Lance! The CUSTOMER SERVICE IS GREAT. I must commend June, the construction manager, who goes above and beyond to ensure that all my issues are resolved. I thoroughly enjoying at Walsh Ranch, taking advantage of the walking trails and walking my dog daily, and appreciating the wonderful residents at Walsh Ranch. Every day at Walsh is living at a 5-star resort! The amenities are truly amazing. We do need restaurants in Walsh! Deciding to move Walsh was the best decision I made.

To make the home your way, the items are limited to the design center. Didn’t understand if I was willing to pay for upgrades, why I was not allowed. Was not asked which landscape item I wanted

The entire process of the home purchase went very well. There's is a minor mishap in the initial process stage, wherein the sales agreement of the first house that we looked at was cancelled due to miscommunication between us and the sales team. It was a blessing in disguise though, as the second house that has been showed to us was way better than the first one. My family really liked the house, so we immediately process the purchase with the Sales team. I really appreciate all the prompt responses from Chad and Pam with my inquiries. Julio from the construction team was really good. He really took time to explain everything about the house during the orientation. The punch list that my third-party inspector has been rectified in a timely manner. I never encountered any issues with him regarding the inquiries and service request I have sent to him almost 2 months after closing. Several construction items (Awning not properly installed above front entrance.) that required numerous contacts / conversations to have resolved.

It was a great experience in buying our new home. When we tour the model the sale agent was professional and made our visit welcoming. She called us to come back and showed us a home that match all our requirements that we talk about on our first visit. It was a great experience from start thru closing.

From beginning to end this process has been great. Nelli & Kevin were fantastic to work with along the way.

With the paint there are some small problems but the rest the seller was very friendly and excellent. I am happy.

Kevin in the sales department was very helpful and not pushy when it comes to choosing your new home.

Matt was phenomenal. Super communicative and always excited about the next steps which kept us even more excited as well

From beginning to end, our purchase has been a satisfying and happy experience. My husband loves to tell others about my reaction when we walked through the door at the open house. He says that 30 seconds after walking through the door, I turned to him and said, “I love this house.” He says that 30 seconds after that I said “I really love this house.” I can tell you that I still feel that way every time I enter the house. Our experience with Highland, specifically Avery (Sales), Sara (Lender) and Whitaker (Construction Manger) was fantastic! They made us feel comfortable throughout the process, answered all of our questions, and there were plenty, and really helped us feel like we made the absolute correct decision in buying a Highland Home. Whitaker in particular has been FANTASTIC! He’s answered every question or concern and has been just above and beyond what we could have asked for in our Construction Manager. There is a lot of stress, anxiety and decision making that goes into the process of building. Highland homes is known for their outstanding customer service experience. This is evident from the home buying experience and the home building process as well. Dolly, the sales manager and Aubree the construction manager were extremely helpful and diligent in helping us. I will definitely recommend this Builder.

The sales office at Saddle Star was amazing. They helped us during our build and made sure everything was taken care of. All issues were followed up on until they were completed to our satisfaction.

Thoroughly walk through every single nook and cranny of your house as the walk through they push so fast as if they know things are missed. I have mortar missing at the top of my brick that connects to the roof that the builder should have caught not me. I find it very difficult to understand how the house next to me doesn’t have that issue but mine does and they use the same contractors. They don’t do caulking after you sign off on the house. Electrical voltage issues with the doorbells are a known issue and they are aware but not giving grade a transformers to fix the issue where it seems to be a monthly problem and it’s only been two and half months in the home. Make sure the wood is nailed down properly if you have upstairs otherwise you’ll be screwed. Not sure why so many issues that I have to call out if the project manager and his boss should be doing a detailed walk through before you do as they inform you. I wanted to love this house and used this builder because I thought they were better at everything compared to my previous builder but sad to say my previous house seems like it was built with better quality materials. I shouldn’t be able to sit in the master toilet and hear in the room next to me let alone have a conversation with the person in that room that can be heard clearly through the walls. A crack found on my secondary bathroom tile and it was pointed out for replacement of the tile instead they sent someone to put some paint or material that’s cheap on it that came up within 3 weeks of it being put down. The flood lights don’t get them, they are cheap for the price you pay you can get better quality getting a ring one on your own. I have to hire pest control to get rid of wasps that got in my attic/ roof of the house due to missing mortar in the front and sides of my house that connects to the wood because it was left open which I had to seal the front however cannot do the rest of the house as it requires a large ladder so now after being here 2 and a half months I have to come out of pocket to fix. Do better if you claim to be America’s best builder. I hope you rectify the issues with the doorbells and the mortar missing around the top of the house. Outside of this the house looks nice however with small mortar missing around the top of the house I’m nervous what the house will look and feel like in 2-5 years. Proceed with caution and if you can make sure you and your realtor come out every week to do a detailed walk through. I did but didn’t have the realtor do it and pointed out what I could when I wasn’t rushed by them talking nice and educating but moving swiftly ends up in lack of love for what you pay an arm / leg for when it’s not fixed within the first year. If I damage it I can see not fixing but how do you damage brick lol. ... More

We were very impressed from the first day we met the sales agent, Hector to when we finally closed the deal. During the project execution phase, the project manager, Devin was always keeping us informed on the progress and always ready to listen to any issues or clarifications we had. The mortgage approval process we did through highland lending company was also a good experience, We were able to close as planned with no issues.

This was my 2nd Highland home and it’s beautiful. Was completed ahead of schedule.
