The quality of the home seems outstanding and Highland has been responsive with minor issues that have arisen. I am very happy with my experience two months into the move.

I chose a Highlands Home because of its stellar reputation for quality work. However, I don’t think Highlands has completely delivered on the townhome I purchased. Highlands responds in a timely manner to my concerns. However, there’s (at least to me) a defensiveness to my critique of some of the carpentry workmanship, especially the trim work done on the baseboards and door mouldings. As of the writing of this survey, I haven’t even moved in yet, and I’ve noticed the moulding around ALL the doors is separating and in some places, pulling away from the wall. I have voiced concern about the shoddy trim work and I have requested that it be corrected. Maybe the trim guy for the work done on the townhomes in Sherman Texas needs to be replaced. Also, I noticed that the shower frame is not level. As for the smart home features, I love them! I also, appreciate the double-paned windows. ... More

Such a shame. Our first home in Texas was a Highland Home so when we decided to downsize to a townhome we purchased a Highland Home. This was a disastrous mistake!!! Everything from the salesperson to building team has been negative. I do not want to ramble on an on because I definitely could with all of bad experiences. I will just say this. The materials and the craftsmanship are TERRIBLE. Its a battle to fix these things and I don't think it will ever be as it should be. I'm very sorry we closed on this townhome. We should have not moved forward and lost our deposit.

From the first meeting with Sue in the model home at Veramandi, we were treated with the utmost professionalism. She educated us about the wonderful aspects of and the amenities included in Highland Homes. She listened to our requirements and found us a lot and home design that matched our needs perfectly. We were then guided thru the various phases of making our new home a reality. Sue and Kevin smoothly got us through the change orders to customize the home to our desires. Then we were connected with our amazing construction manager, Alex. Alex was one of the most meticulous individuals we have ever worked with. He kept us in the loop from the lot prep until our final walk-thru. He set accurate expectations on our completion date and even brought the timeline in to our pleasant surprise. He earned our trust early in the stages due to his own high expectations on the jobs to be done. The excellent service did not end on our home completion. Highland Homes has a great mobile app to place warranty issues, questions, requests. Kevin and Gus and various support companies have expeditiously corrected the minor issues and questions we have had to date. We highly recommend Highland Homes from our own personal experience. ... My recent purchase with Highland Homes in Gruene Villages, was exceptional. The sales staff (Mark), went above and beyond in my opinion to help us navigate the process, as we delt with a difficult sale of our current home at the same time. Since our purchase was complete, the Post Sale help has continued. Every issue (which to date has been minor), has been handled extremely well and very promptly. The onsite Builder (James) has been an exceptional resource with questions and issues that have come up to date.

Brittany has been our Rock! She is awesome Spencer has been great as well. Everyone we have worked with has been very attentive to our concerns and very timely in responses. I would recommend this group to anyone.

David sent my introduction to him, has always been prompt, patient,, informative, and affective. He has always answered my questions and clarified any issue or problem that arises. He is quick to resolve any issues or discrepancies in an extremely timely manner. He makes herself available, and his customer service is exceptional. Between Alan, the sales person, and David, I could not be more happy with my purchase. They both put kept me at ease and insured me that everything would be just fine throughout this process. I love my new home.

highland is great builder, friendly sale's person and trustworthy staffs.

We purchased in December of 2024 and the whole experience has been great. Highland builds a great home and the response to any issues have been great. Would definitely recommend to purchase a Highland home over any other builders in 6 Creeks Subdivision.

Home buying experience was great with Highland. Expected a little more quality but overall, I'm satisfied.

This is our second Highland home, we absolutely love working with them. They do not only cater to all your needs but help you out if there is any issues or concerns. The quality is sub par. Gaps in cabinets. Unfinished paint. Poor finish work. Don’t even get me started on the concrete. We have had the driveway the front steps re-poured and they can’t get it right. Flaking concrete, permanent foot steps, discoloration, etc.. It’s been amateur hour here. I’m not a contractor and I’m pretty sure I could do a better job at this point. No attention to detail.

We moved to Texas from Pennsylvania during the Christmas holidays and everyone at Highland homes made the transition effortless, Darren was amazing from start to finish, from the start of the process until the end. Frankie was extremely knowledgeable in all areas of real estate. Thank you Highland homes you guys are amazing!

We had bad experience with Highland builder. It seemed that they don’t care much about quality of workmanship. A lot of issues were found before and after moving in. Very slow progress when resolved an issue. Satisfaction still not meet for some issues such as lot of stains on driveways and garage, front and backyard weren’t level properly, damage and lack of grass for yards, outside walls and entryway has lot of pant and grout spills

I'm not going to spend much time here because I doubt they'll allow this to be posted. My home was rushed by the builder, not me. I was actually saying I'm fine with the expected delivery date. The builder wanted to meet their numbers for the year and pulled my home in by several months. There have been a few issues as a result of the short build window as well as some expected issues. In both cases, I would be fine if they were fixed in a timely manner. Instead the average time is around three weeks. Some issues never responded to at all. I paid for some extra things that aren't currently usable. Now that I'm here, I learned I'll have to spend more money to actually use those items. Completely unacceptable. The sales office was an outstanding experience. That was very nice. I'm glad part of this was enjoyable, but ultimately it all has to be there and Highland just dropped the ball on my home. ... More

I wish I had good things to say about my home. I was incredibly invested, spent quite literally hundreds of hours doing research, reading contracts, working with my builder on the home, and trying to build relationships with the Highland team. I've never felt like my partner in any project put forward so little effort as Highland did across the board. I was talked down to by my sales person, ignored by my design center specialist, and lied to by my construction manager. On top of all of that, once I left reviews and messages for management, I never got a call back to address any concerns I had. Process was streamlined and we made many changes since we were in it from dirt so gave us an opportunity to select all finishouts to our liking creating a custom home. The entire staff was great and seamless! Very pleased with the results and highly recommended!

I trouble say that Sue and Spencer and everyone else helped right away with anther needed done! I have to say this had probably the best experience I’ve had from building to buying g existing. The o oh. Complaint I had are the cheap door knonbs. The cheap fiberglass in the barren of the shower I would take a house of this. Calibrlber would have put nicer fixtures in ah half a million dollars, you should her a house with nicer fixtures. But o their thank that everyone wa wheezy!over all I’ve been very a Happy with HH

Our Highland Homes buying experience was a wonderful one, thanks to the entire team, especially Bryon, our builder. We could only visit the new homesite once a month, and we placed our trust with Bryon and the entire Highland Homes team that was working with us. they did not disappoint. Loved my home buying process with Highland.

Overall, my home-buying experience was fantastic! My sales agent, Kathi, was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and responsive to my inquiries. My realtor shared my price range with Kathi, and we were able to negotiate a beautiful home that perfectly meets my needs. My construction experience was generally satisfactory. Fortunately, the house was in the late stages of construction, so I didn’t have to endure the lengthy wait for completion or the hassle of building from scratch. The craftsmanship at Highland Homes is truly remarkable, surpassing the quality of my previous builder. While there are a few minor nitpicks, I am generally pleased with my purchase. I am still experiencing issues with my HVAC system, awaiting reimbursement for water due to a leak discovered after closing, and the stair still makes a cracking noise. Nevertheless, these minor problems do not overshadow my overall satisfaction with my home. ... More
