Our home purchase with Highland Homes was a great experience. The workmanship quality was excellent and they were always responsive to our questions.

David is outstanding. Outstanding. of course there will be issues during the building process. He understood our concerns and reassured us that things would be addressed and taken care of. He was confident and we were confident in his abilities. He is professional and friendly. We always felt he “heard” our concerns and addressed them quickly and appropriately. David made the building process smooth and pleasant. We’ve always heard the horror stories about building and the stress it can cause. And he finished early! Yay. We were able to move out of the apartment 2 months early! Working with David was a dream. There were a few moments of stress but nothing major and we knew with David on “our team”, things would be beautiful and solid. Highland is LUCKY to have David. From start to finish our experience with Highland was truly amazing. When we first went to the model to discuss building, the sales representative Kelli was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and explained the whole process to us. We selected our lot that same day! The weekly communication from sales and the construction team kept us apprised of progress and answered any concerns we had. They went above and beyond to make sure we were involved in our home build and we have some very wonderful memories of watching the dirt turn to slab to frame to home. The managers John and Gio heard our every concern and went far beyond our expectations in making sure everything was perfect, and resolved every issue with alacrity and excellence. This was the fifth home that my wife and I have built. Our second home was a Highland home as well. This was the most difficult build. It took 13 months to build our home. We signed the contract in August 2023 and construction finally got started in January 2024. Although Highland has a reputation for building quality homes, this time, the workmanship and materials were just ok. Our biggest frustration was with the workmanship of the contractors. Multiple times for a contractor to come back and fix poor workmanship. Also, our builder had just too many homes to oversee resulting in things being missed, broken by other contractors, etc. We asked to close by the end of August but after meeting with the builder and sales person, they ask to extend to September 18th to give the builder time to have everything done. The week before September was a mad scramble trying to get all the contractors at the house to try and finish. We did close on the 18th but still had a lengthy list to continue to get fixed over the next 2 weeks including cabinets in the kitchen with no shelves. Now after 5 weeks of being in, our house is together and we’re happy with the house. I don’t think we’ll ever do a new build again. I will say this, our builder worked tirelessly helping us but working with sloppy contractors and too many house given to him to oversee made his task almost unbearable. ... More

Our experience with Highland Homes has been amazing from start to finish. We were moving from out of state and our Highland team of Todd and Mason kept us up to date and informed of the build progress the entire time our home was under construction. They truly went above and beyond in making this a great experience. We can’t say enough about the entire Highland team had and would recommend Highland to anyone.

Construction quality is not up to the mark. Not sure if they actually do those quality checks they say they so. You find several problems after their quality check. There were several items being worked on even after closing and have several issues still bein worked on which were reported. It also seems they treat customers differently, some get good attention and some don't. Cleanliness is not their thing... They feel some dirty items are ok when they hand over the home. They own lender company will put you on a higher interest rate even when you give counter offer you received from others. In my case the difference was 1 full percentage. They know you will still close with them for the 'incentive' and easiness of the process as they want you of delays if you go with other lender. ... More

Being a first time home buyer, I had lot of queries and was struggling to find the right fit house for my requirement and within budget. Lucky to have met with Jessica , highland sales person and she guided me to chose right home with right kind of upgrades. She was engaged through out the process and never took more than 30 mins to respond to my queries, super quick and always have intention to help me. Another lucky charm was Rob, the construction manager. Rob was superb and was very honest and transparent through out the construction phase, any issues brought to his notice was very professionally handled and resolved with full satisfaction. My husband and I had previously contracted for another builders home, but as we started b=seeing it built, we realized that the quality wasn't there. We were lucky to have found our current home right across the street from the one we were building. After one look, we cancelled our first contract and bought the Highland Home, and we are happy every day that we made this decision. The quality it great and the home is beautiful.

Brooke, Preston and Sean were an awesome team and absolutely loved working with them. Very happy with Highland and their response after closing is amazing to other little issues. Great job well executed by this team, I give them a five star.

We couldn’t ask for a better experience with Tina. She was an expert in all aspects of our home buying process. Also, our construction manager Lane was very attentive and kept us up to date through out the build. Highly recommend anyone looking for a new home to go with Highland Homes.

Home was in good shape. Just obvious things that should have been taken care of before like painting, staining, floor creaking. This would avoid a lot of back and forth with different workers fixing issues. Other than that the issues did get fixed, it just takes time and we are happy with our new home. Thank you very much Ryan.
