I'm very happy with my new home from Highland Homes. There were a few issues, but Monica and Ryan were always available to help resolve them. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was fixed.

Highland homes has been a great experience from the beginning to the end. Let’s start off from the beginning Sheryn our “sales counselor” has made me and my wife feel very welcomed and has helped us become first time homeowners! After closing, the “Construction Manager” Matt and his team have been helping us and it’s been all hands on deck, making sure that everything is working properly at our home and if something isn’t up to standard he will get it corrected! Quality build. Construction manager does a poor job with following up with communication and misses details in every single email exchange. Construction manager is nice. He tells the buyer he is available for questions/concerns, but does not actually follow through with a quality level of responsiveness. Outright ignores some topics in emails. Issues/agreed upon repairs would persist for weeks and I had to keep asking up until the day before closing. Sales counselor was consistently excellent, responsive and proactive. I would give her five stars.

Do your research regarding EVERY home builder, the craftsmanship, the integrity, the build and do not just go off beautiful model homes or beautiful, new communities. Do your research on WHO you can expect living in a brand new area, try to avoid sales talk at all times and be your own salesperson / get a team you personally trust who will have your best interest at heart. Build with a company who builds fairly, prices fairly even if it is more than you want it to be, but focus on all the small details, quality, the different crews and how they treat your property, and any and all members who you have to deal with along the way making sure you state your requirements and expectations. Don't let too much time go by wasted without a lack of responses, handing things poorly with communication, quality, and dealing with non-English speaking individuals who will only make it stressful for you and the environment. Document everything, take pictures of everything, and if your budget is being overstretched, consider going with another reputable, high-quality, more designer so you can actually get what you want and what you expected from the beginning. LOCATION and area is everything, and who is all going to live in your community. Keeping in mind HOA will not do much nor help much at all even though you pay them each month - they are only there to ensure the community looks pretty, stays uniformed and has events to celebrate. ... Tim, the on site sales rep was extremely knowledgeable and will always take your call to answer any last minute questions. Carter our most recent superintendent has been a pleasure to work with. Great team!

Lane, our builder is fantastic!

Well built home, but there are several incidents of "cosmetic damage" that isn't covered under warranty, particularly regarding interior of cabinetry.

From sales to build Highland has come through for us. Building a home can be very stressful for a buyer. We appreciate the staff for all of their patience and getting us to the finish line with delivery of a beautiful place we get to call home. Thank You!

The over all experience was good,

Zero complaints about the customer service. Everyone we interacted with during purchase and the build process was phenomenal. Our grievances are tied to the quality of materials, workmanship and the lack of QC. Our expectations were high after seeing HH’s model homes across several different communities. The house they built us definitely did not measure up to those expectations.

Stellar experience from beginning to end, and continue today. We had a warranty request for a tripping breaker and they fixed it in less than a week, no questions asked.

The experience was great and easy every highland associate was professional and kind great to work with. I love my purchase and the neighborhood thanks again

Our first point of contact with Jay in Meridiana was pleasurable. He was straightforward, attentive to our needs, a good listener, patient, always respond with promptness, knowledgeable, always went beyond what we asked, no hassle, no pressure. He responded with a quick yes to all our offers. Our experience from the new home consultant (Jay), Nick construction manager (was ok), to the closing table was seamless. The sales department was very helpful and accommodating. I have watched the community grow for several years and progress seems on schedule. The only item that I am disappointed with is very few home owners use the garage for cars. Large trucks parked in the driveways litter the entire community. I was raised in Texas and I know it’s part of the culture but I think it diminishes the beauty of a planned community.

We love our house and if we had to make decision again we would go with Homeland again!

This is the best building experience I have ever had. Highly recommended to anyone who is looking to build a perfect house. Kelly and David are simply the best team at Cross Creek West! Thank you both for everything!!

We are impressed and pleased with the quality of the workmanship and materials. We have had a few minor adjustments and replacements, but the responsiveness to any issues we have had has been quick and positive. Kudos to our Customer Care Representative, Steve, who is always a joy to work with and who always follows through promptly with replacements, adjustments, service, etc.

Front start to finish our Highland Homes experience was first rate. I highly recommend Highland Homes to any potential new home buyer.

It was good experience Doing good

Working with Highland Homes has been such an easy process. Although we were living out of state, our construction manager sent us regular updates with pictures and made time for us to walk through the home and answer questions and concerns whenever we were in town. From the sales people to the design center, to the builders; everyone made us feel like a priority and helped create our dream home! Now, as we live in the home, we love it more and more every day. The quality and craftmanship is top notch - helping us appreciate our beautiful home even more!

The quality of materials are getting worse year by year, but prices are getting higher. Old houses was better. At least Hıghland still quick responder for issues.

Having good models but the prices are overpriced than market
