The buying experience was good.

Hunter and Johnathan have been very efficient in meeting my needs when there is a problem with something in my home and in a timely manner and they are very nice people. They get the job done.

Regarding some initial issues, the Construction Manager solved all outstanding issues goving us a total satisfaction about our Home. Thank you for your commitment.

I am writing to express my concerns regarding the workmanship on our new home. While we understand that no home is without minor imperfections, my husband and I have encountered several issues that have left us disappointed, given the significant investment we made. During the construction process, we visited the site regularly and noticed some concerning behaviors and quality issues: *We frequently saw beer cans scattered around the site. *There was evidence of smoking inside our home, even though we are non- smokers. We brought several issues to the attention of the construction manager and he promised they would be fixed and till this day their still not fixed. * improperly installed items *paint on the floor, bathroom fixtures, lights crooked (not slightly crooked) *front door installed incorrectly *the list goes on For the amount of money we paid, it feels as though it's a starter home. This is my first time with Highland Homes, and I have been pleased with them from the start. The sales consultant, Anita, has been very helpful and offered good suggestions from start to finish. Additionally, I receive weekly updates about the progress of my home from Devin, who I believe is the construction manager. In my opinion, he has great attention to detail. Overall, my experiences so far have been positive, and I love my new home. If I buy a second home, it will definitely be with Highland Homes again—no doubt!

We had an outstanding experience with Highland Homes while building our new home. From the beginning, Jon, the sales associate, was incredibly helpful in guiding us through the process. He was always available to answer our questions and made sure we were confident in every decision. His professionalism and knowledge made the process as stress-free as possible. When we had a hiccup towards the end of our build process, Jon made sure we knew that we were going to be taken care of like family. Frank, the construction manager, continues to be incredible. His attention to detail and commitment to quality were evident throughout the entire build. Frank ensured that everything was completed to the highest standard, and he kept us informed at every stage of construction. My overall experience with Highland Homes through-out my purchase process was a "great experience." I had the opportunity to make a few changes that went exceptionally well. All of my changes and choices were completed with the "Highest Degree of Professionalism." I'm extremely HAPPY with my new home choice, although there were several styles to choose from. It's very stressful to buy a home, with a Massive Mix of Emotions and numerous choices. This overwhelming process took over a year to settle on what was-right for me. After making my choice, Troy and David provided understanding, great listening skills, immediate replies to my questions and total professional attitudes which kept my emotions in check. If a veteran they help with everything you need to buy a home.

From the initial sales meeting all the way to 30 days after we closed, the experience was amazing. Everyone was very helpful and informative. The building process was grreat and we are very happy with our new home.

It has been a very disappointing experience. Many issues to fix with the house after moving in. Very poor paint job in some of the rooms, issues with plumbing, the dishwasher wasn't installed properly and leaked on to the floor. The flooring needed replacing after this, but 6 weeks later it still hasn't happened. A light fixture in the kitchen has been broken for 4 months. No replacement in sight. I now dislike my home because of the experience the builder has given me.

Overall experience was great. Patient builder, kept me in the loop the whole time. Great app to walk you through the construction steps. Enjoyed the experience!

Overall a great experience. The salesman, Kevin did a great job and was very helpful to reach the end product. I do believe there is a problem with some of the construction personnel understanding the product that Highland Homes wants delivered to the buyer. This is our second Highland Home and they stand behind their word of getting it finished to that standard.

This is our second time building with Highland, and we would do it again. Our project manager, John, was wonderful to work with!

This is my second time building a home. Tracy T. and Ryan K. were great to work with and made the experience great. If I were to build another home, Tracy and Ryan would be my choice. I looked at many homes from other builders, but Highland Homes stood out.

We absolutely love our new home, and our experience throughout the entire process, from the contract to the planning process, and from building to settling-in, Highland has been amazing every step of the way!

Really want to give the construction manager, Luke, a 5-Star rating. From the first time we met, before a contract, he has been patient, professional and timely with his responses to our questions and construction issues. His intentions to resolve issue quickly were often thwarted by unreliable subs. We've purchased several new homes in the Austin area over the past 30 years and find Luke to be one of the best!

The Highland team did a great job showing and selling my beautiful new home in a wonderful neighborhood.

The attention to quality control was almost impossible because of the "assembly line" process of a single construction manager trying to oversee multiple homes (15 plus in our case). The electrical work was incomplete and incompetent at times. Lack of crown molding and the use of basic base molding was dissappointing. Trash pickup in and around the house was infrequent . The choices for lighting were few, and upcharges were excessive for additional ceiling fans (should have been standard for bedrooms and porch). Too much vehicle conjestion on the narrow street. The house design and the beauty of the Mustang Lakes development is attractive, but the process of a single street being constructed simultaneously was frustrating, especially with houses only 10 feet apart. The home is beautiful, but the best time for a review is after 1 year of settling in and utilizing all aspects of the new construction. ... More
