The house product is great. We love the home and design. My complaint will be that the project managers need to pay attention to detail with the trades coming in doing the work. They are not checking the work and the quality. For the price point, you would expect a greater attention to detail and quality. The overall experience was good just detail and closing presentation needs work. House was not presented in the way I expected at close.

If your sales person is Haeli then be specific to the details. She doesn’t provide you with any details as she thinks it doesn’t matter to us. But end of the day we are paying money so ask every detail of lot inside and outside of perimeter. These people just work for the money and don’t value you after signing the sales agreement. I realized cheap products being used in some places of the construction. Highland homes loan officer Lindsay, not provided any steps details. Loan process was not transparent. She never told until I ask for. Over all rating okay to buy from highland homes but there bunch of other builders too. Try to consider other builder if you have options. ... More

From start to finish this was an overall great experience. Everyone we came into contact with was more than helpful and very responsive to any and all concerns. We highly recommend Highland Homes.

The entire Highland Homes team Gracie , Clint , Matt , Crickett , was an absolute pleasure to work with each friendly , professional, knowledgeable and most attentive to any questions or concerns. Gracie took time from her day each Sunday to take construction progress pics. Our home was built beautifully in the expected time frame. The closing went smoothly without any issue. We are very happy with our highland homes experience and highly recommend Highland Homes to build your new Home.

I Love my Highland Home!

I have highlighted the issues from visual inspection prior closing and engaged a third-party inspection company to do the home inspection. Majority of the issues are unattended despite several follow-up by email, text messages and phone calls.

From the beginning, working with Highland Homes was so seamless. Our consultant Haleigh was so responsive and helpful in walking us through the various floor plans and add on options to build a home that was perfect for us. Once we landed on the Middleton plan, we were connected with our project manager Robbie. Robbie is fantastic, extremely knowledgeable, and thorough. He sent us weekly email updates and was very responsive to questions/concerns. Our only area of concern was after we closed on the house. We had a few areas to touch up during our final walk and the crew sent in lacked attention to detail and some aspects felt rushed. The concrete in our front entrance was a different color, plaster on the gutters, paint on floors, etc. Overall, this did not tarnish our experience because the home is beautiful and Robbie has been so responsive to our concerns and made proper repairs and touch ups. Overall experience has been pretty good. Any issue has been addressed quickly. Some issues can not be remedied. Hanging a flush mount mirror on a curved wall (where it is supposed to be straight) presented challenges. Some walls/trim were installed without a chalk line or an L square and because floor tiles are true, it is apparent. It does not affect function of wall, just appearance.

It was a pleasure working with Tony and Harrison. They both conducted themselves in a professional manner. They both took the time to listen, answer and/or clarify any question or concern that I had. I like the way they coordinated with my real estate agent Nathan from The Jamie McMartin Group to make the process as smooth as possible. Nathan was also amazing to work with; he too took the time to listen attentively and answer all of my inquiries. I would definitely work with Nathan again and refer him to anyone that is looking to buy or sell a home. He is extremely patient, dedicated and personable. Harrison is responsive and he made sure that everything was addressed timely; he takes pride in what he does. I would definitely recommend anyone to purchase a Highland Home. Builder (Jack) was awesome! Attentive, helpful, informative. Couldn’t have asked for a better partner in building our home. Sales and design teams very helpful, responsive and attentive. Unfortunately the quality of materials and trades leaves something to be desired. We’ve had electrical issues since we moved in which still aren’t resolved after multiple attempted repair visits. Issue with doors (warped?, multiple broken hinges). HVAC design issues (bedrooms are cooler by 2-3 deg even after return visit by HVAC installer); curious what the temp differences will be in summer time vs. winter.

We purchased a home in Sandbrock and could not be more pleased with the quality of the construction, ease of doing business and customer care demonstrated by our builder, Glen. The entire experience beginning with Beau in the Sales office and Debbie from Highland Finance was terrific all the way through to closing. We highly recommend this team and Highland Homes for a great home ownership experience. The quality of the construction, fit and finish of the home and customer care demonstrated by this team is outstanding!

GOD completely blessed me with an amazing team in Denise, Lin, Cindy and Jim. These four outstanding professionals went above and beyond in not only guiding me through the craziness of purchasing a home, but they even extended themselves to make sure I had a quality home constructed just for me. I am beyond humbled at their integrity, transparency and support! There are simply no words to ever truly express my gratitude!!!

Craftsmanship is poor. Quality of build is poor. Contractors are sloppy, framing not straight or flush and bowed requiring heavy warranty work. Walls not fully painted even after final walk through. Flooring scratched. Highland homes full of excuses; example two cabinet drawers touch when fully opened and the response provided was “both drawers shouldn’t be open together”. Unacceptable excuses to get the job completed correctly.

We are thrilled with our new home. Our builder, Craig, and our sales rep., Thea, were great to work with.

I love my home, but the process was very poorly done. I had to get VP involved and once she was involved, things went very smoothly.

They went above and way beyond expectations. Extremely responsive to my concerns. Worked hard to assure every thing in the punch list was addressed quickly and correctly. Highly recommend Highland Homes.

Over all this experience of building and buying our new home has been very good! The house was built very quickly, two months sooner than expected. We are very pleased with our new home.
