I’m verbally your staff have never been helpful at all , we still have some issues that we had addressed when we made the deal , till now not fixed

Kept getting pressured to use preferred lender… My construction manager has came in and fixed the issues in a very timely manner but there’s just a lot of poor craftsmanship in the house and you would think buying a half a million home your cabinets wouldn’t be crooked you wouldn’t have holes in your closet your door would actually lock etc. etc.

Our journey to our Highland Home started when we were visiting Texas from California. My sister had just built a home in Royse City with another builder in a different sub-division and while visiting her, we stopped by the Highland Home model at Creekshaw. We were greeted by a very knowledgeable and friendly sales consultant, Angela C. My wife and I were very impressed with the quality and intelligent design of the home, with no wasted space. We immediately fell in love and did not even bother to visit the adjacent model homes from the two other builders. The highland Home checked off all the boxes. My wife and I both have family in the Dallas area and had been thinking of eventually putting some roots down in the area, but had no intention of building a home for several years. Angela C. took the time to get to know us, did a fantastic job educating us on the area and what differentiates a Highland Home from it's competitors. She was not pushy and always stressed that she wanted us to make a well informed decision. We left to go back home to California and stayed in touch with Angela C., who was always responsive and promptly addressed any questions or concerns we had. After several months of educating ourselves and with Angela C. guiding us through the process we signed a contract to have our home built by Highland. I can honestly say that without Angela's patience, guidance and professionalism, we probably would not have moved forward. Now for the build experience; We were blessed to be assigned Dustin D. as our builder. Dustin was truly a blessing. The pride he takes in delivering a quality home shined through, from the pouring of the foundation to delivering a beautiful home for us. He would pick up on things before we even had a chance to point anything out. Dustin was in constant communication with us throughout the build and made sure we understood every aspect of every phase the build was in. Dustin was extremely patient throughout the building process. He was prompt in responding to any questions we had. Remember, we were in CA while our home was being built in TX. Dustin would send us pictures and talk through any questions or concerns we may have had. Dustin would always say, "I take great pride and getting back to my homeowners promptly, so they are not left hanging". This guy is a Gem and a rare find! Although we build a tract home, Angela C. and Dustin D. delivered a better than custom built home buying and building experience. First off, Ashley and Stephanie in the sales office were awesome! They were so helpful and accommodating with us during the buying process, it was a pleasure to work with them. Sean, our construction manager is another person who I can’t praise enough. He always made himself available and kept us in the loop on the progress of the build. We had some minor issues during construction, which is to be expected. Once identified Sean was on it and promptly corrected. Two issues we still have are with the painting and landscaping. Caulking around baseboards was sloppy and not consistent from one area to the next. Paint is thin and the walls are not saturated at all. As far as landscaping, The topsoil they used under the sod is virtually non existent. There are hills and valleys all over the yard and the amount and size of the rocks I dig out daily are ridiculous. Pranay - since we moved to this house we have odor smell issue which is from WWTP and he is beside of our house. While signing I have asked sales team what was that and they have said it is some water plant and they didn’t mentioned about about WWTP. We are getting that smell in our bedrooms. I didn’t expect this kind of customer service with false stamtement before signing the contracts.

Building a Highland home was a great experience! Josh and Edna (and the whole Highland team) were fantastic! They made the process fun and easy. I knew we were in good hands with them. They answered all of our questions, and their hard work and dedication assured us that we made the right decision building with Highland!

This will be my 4th new build home and the best experience ever! Everything was smooth from beginning to end with no issues! Not one problem with the builder, sales manager and customer service is definitely A+. The house is absolutely beautiful and everyone of my friends and family said it is the best looking home I have ever lived in! I will forever be thankful on how wonderful my home looks ! From start to finish of the process from picking lot to design picks to closing out was overall a great experience.

Purchasing a home with Highland Homes has been a great experience. The professionalism of the staff and builder, combined with the post-purchase warranty and their responsiveness, provides peace of mind. It truly feels like you're getting value for your purchase.

Bought our townhome, Payed almost 500k. Closing day had multiple mechanical problems. Since moving in, we have been living in a third world country slum. Trash and uneaten food everywhere in yards and on the street. Driveway and ally constantly blocked making us miss appointments/ meetings. Music is blasting at 7 am even on weekends. Nails in tires several times. Have complained multiple times to managers who give a token gesture but things are back to terrible the next day. Since our purchase, we are obviously not a priority to the managers here over the townhomes in Bridgeland. Do yourself a favor and dont buy a townhome from Highland Homes until the entire community is complete. ... More

Hands down best builders in San Antonio! Absolutely loved working with Highland homes to have our home built. We were well informed every step of the way! Any questions we had were quickly answered. Dorothy was absolutely amazing from start to finish! We came into San Antonio in Jun and they worked hard to have the house ready way ahead of schedule! The home is absolutely beautiful! I have zero complaints about quality of home we got!

Anytime I have a concern Austin responds right away with a solution or update. Austin is professional and informative.

Dear Highland Home, I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the quality of the home I purchased and the customer service I have received since moving in. I have experienced several quality issues, including: • Loose doorknobs (multiple times) • A bathtub with scratches and dents (the builder representative accused me of being picky and said they didn't think they could meet my expectations) • A broken faucet handle • Walkway cement with footsteps on top (the builder representative argued with me for 15 minutes about why I didn't bring this issue up during the walk-through) Master bath with water leaks through glass • A busted fence (the builder representative refused to take accountability for this damage, which was caused by the next-door builder) I purchased a Highland Home specifically because of your reputation for quality. However, the customer service I have received post-sale has been contentious and unhelpful. I have been met with pushback at every step of the way. We had a wonderful experience from working with sales, design and construction. I would like to highlight our experience with Clayton, he kept us informed and was always actively responding to any questions or concerns we had. He did an outstanding job. I would recommend Highland as a builder to any one considering a new home.

Overall experience has been great. I really love my home.

We have had a new house built several times and this one with Highland Homes was the easiest and smoothest one of them all. The sales consultant Mary and the construction manager Eric were available for questions all through the process. They were very responsive and timely with the responses. We will certainly use them again if we ever build another house.

George is slow to responses and he forgets tasks. We had to remind him of things he promised to fix not once or twice and even had to inform him we would inform his boss.

Overall they are very good, a pleasure to deal with. Afer purchasing the house, we've found some materials that lack quality, small items, but they should pay mor attention to those details
