From the start the sales office and project manager had stayed in CONSTANT communication with us for the entire process start to finish of our beautiful home. Anything we had concerns or questions on they always took the time to talk with us even after hours and responded right away. I’d check on the home every day and see the project managers out there and he would always take the time to talk and see if I had any questions on anything. They made it an easy and fun process and the home itself is everything we wanted. Amazing quality and detail.

There a few issues with appliances and interior finishes. Const rep was very helpful in correcting issues

Highland Homes went above and beyond to ensure that my family was happy and excited about closing on our new home. Any questions we had were always answered and any concerns addressed in a timely manner. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

My experience with buying a Highland Home has been excellent. Debbie was helpful and outstanding through the buying phase. Shawn has been great through the whole process and is amazing to work with.

Avery, Andrew, and Whitaker are great! They are focused on the details and helping with any concerns that come up when buying a home! They are always communicative and helpful!

Loved the quality of the home, but I do wish certain things I knew what I know now. I do wish they have a better option at design center and not charge u so much for little things like tiles I’m sure they already have that price included in the house

This was our 2nd Highland Home purchase. We felt very comfortable and understood the home building process with Highland. We love the craftsmanship and the quality material they put into the home. We would not hesitate to build with Highland again.

Overall experience is very satisfactory.

A lot of issues after the fact

When I called my sales agent to delay the closing for one week then she denied saying that she is going to cancel the contract and house was even not completed. Post closing I have to follow up with builder many time to get the things fixed but still its on. I am definitely not happy. They even didn't share the electrical upgrade list with price breakup.

Great buying experience! Julie made the process easy, and Trey, our builder, did everything he could to accommodate our requests. He was lights out amazing and the service after the sale knocked our socks off. The quality in our house is amazing, and our power bill was cut in half relative to our old house. Very impressed!

Buying from Highland Homes was a great decision for first time home buyers like us. Ashley and Stephanie from the Sales were super helpful and always made time to answer our questions and suggest what will work and wouldn’t . Our builder Shane was super. Very understanding and patient through the whole process and post moving in as well continued to help us with things we only noticed later. Go for Highland Homes

The overall experience was pretty good. The builder was very quick at responding to questions. The painters could be more careful. The people who install the quarter round at the base of a kitchen island were not very precise in cutting it to the right length and as a result there were gaps between the sections. Also the flooring people cut a piece of the flooring too short so now there is a place where there is a gap of space between the flooring and the island in the kitchen.

Highland homes builds a nice home . But with that being said I have had some very frustrating things happening for 2 months now . Electrical problems. Still are ongoing .

Our entire home buying experience with highland homes has been on another level, from customer service to quality to attention to detail…the designer options were also very high end and we feel like highland delivered us a home that was worth every penny we spent. We would recommend Highland Homes to every home buyer in the market.

We needed to find a house as we had sold our house in Dallas and were moving to Austin to be near our children and grandchildren. So we had to take what was offered us. With the exception of getting solid core doors, we were not allowed to request any upgrades or modifications. The house is acceptable but not our dream home. We are thinking about purchasing a lot in Parten for Highland Homes to build on. Your floor plan is very nice, and we love the single story versus 2 levels. From start to finish, Highland Homes staffing from sales, construction, and financing did an Outstanding job and handled themselves very professionally! Always there to help and lend a hand no matter what. Exceptional service, exceptional people here in Balcones Creek - highly recommended!

From our sales rep to our construction manager and even getting called by regional supervisors. Everyone seemed to have one thing as a priority and that was to make sure we had the exact home we wanted. They were so accommodating we felt like we had a custom home builder and took such great care that we had no issue in trusting they would take care of us. Even our realtor was floored by the care they took with our house and all the things she told us to look out for were no where in our concerns with Highland. If we ever build again we will look for another neighborhood to ensure we could get another highland home again. ... More

We had high hopes given the options and level of detail when we purchased our build. Then it was delay after delay. Then a rush to close before things were finished, only to find out that key utilities weren’t even up. Only after contacting the ceo for the master builder did we get anything addressed, I blame highland homes for rushing into closing without checking everything, had we known we would not have closed when we did. I’m still dealing with finish items that weren’t addressed with the home prior to closing because it’s now MY responsibility, not theirs to deal with the subs. We closed 3 months ago. ... More

I love the location and do like my home but there were a lot of things left undone after close that took 3 months to correct. Prompt communication is not their forte. I am hoping a year or two from now I can look back and say I got a good quality home. It’s too early to tell.

We started a new build with Highland Homes last year while living in a different city. The Highland team made this process SO unbelievably smooth and wonderful, I truly could not have asked for a better experience. The sales team - Edna, Kim, Beth, and Janet were so amazing to work with. They were with me every step of the way answering all of my questions and ensuring everything was in order. Our PM, Jordan, is a complete rockstar. He sent weekly updates, photos and videos during the build, going above and beyond ensuring I was informed along the way. Anytime I needed anything, he was able to help, and also offered solutions to a few ideas we had. The finished home blew us away. The construction, the design, the products all exceeded our expectations. We haven’t had many issues since moving in, but the minor warranty items were handled easily and quickly. We financed through Highland Homes, which was also a very positive experience. Lindsay and her team made what can often be a very stressful experience so smooth and easy. This was our first new home build. After hearing horror story reviews for other home builders, I cannot stress how thankful we are to have had a such great experience, but also a strong confidence in the product Highland Homes stands by. ...
