With the paint there are some small problems but the rest the seller was very friendly and excellent. I am happy.

The sales office at Saddle Star was amazing. They helped us during our build and made sure everything was taken care of. All issues were followed up on until they were completed to our satisfaction.

Good value. Level of paint could be improved.

The people i mentioned above were great to work with. Answers to our questions seem to come with ease and quickly. Problems were nonexistent. Slight problems that existed with the property were handled in a timely manor. The property itself I'm satisfied is of good value and quality of workmanship is quit good. Closing was a bit disturbing, the drive to plano for people of our age could be troublesome for some. Overall experience I'd rate a 12 out of 10.

waiting for follow-up visit to answer some concerns. lawn sod is not bouncing back as promised - some gaps between sod pieces. glue on floor boards not adequately cleaned up.

From the time Karen was introduced to Tony, our Highland sales counselor, all the way through our home buying process we had a fantastic experience! He was both very personal as well as professional in all his dealings with us, communicating in a timely and thorough manner. Later, when our house went under construction we began working with Jack, our construction manager. He was an excellent communicator utilizing e-mails, texts, and phone calls to update us on progress and address any questions or concerns we had. This was especially helpful to us as we were living in another state during construction. We felt like Jack was genuinely concerned with our desires related to our house and was willing to go above and beyond to make sure we ended up with a house we were thrilled with. We've had several opportunities to work with Highland Homes, this being the first home we completed with them, and our experiences with them have been harmonious and impressive. They go over and above in many ways, and we know first hand that other large builders would not offer the same. The biggest problem we did encountered was with the design center and the selection of certain home items. The kitchen cabinets were far darker than they appeared in the design center but Highland Homes very graciously offered some alternatives that met the need perfectly! For this we are so grateful! There were other little issues with the design center where more guidance was needed but not provided but should we do this again, we will know to do our own research and get more information before deciding. We've built homes before and did not have this issue so this was a learning experience. The only other things I would mention have to do with communication with the sales team. They were always very cheerful and ready to help but some key information was not given to us until we were fully committed to this property and house. Such as the extent of lawn and landscape that we are responsible for involves common areas outside our lot. Areas that, in our experience, had always been cared for by the HOA in those communities. The HOA here while being far more expensive does not care for these areas and the restrictions on said landscape are nonnegotiable. We felt this was very poorly handled and unfair to us. There have been some disappointments in other things with work by their sub contractors. Sprinkler system, lawn and tree health and growth. Quality of some of the workmanship that sub contractors have had to return to correct or fix. But this has been addressed quickly by Highland Homes with plenty of follow up by the builder to ensure our satisfaction. Know the utility rates before moving here.

My recent purchase with Highland Homes in Gruene Villages, was exceptional. The sales staff (Mark), went above and beyond in my opinion to help us navigate the process, as we delt with a difficult sale of our current home at the same time. Since our purchase was complete, the Post Sale help has continued. Every issue (which to date has been minor), has been handled extremely well and very promptly. The onsite Builder (James) has been an exceptional resource with questions and issues that have come up to date.

David sent my introduction to him, has always been prompt, patient,, informative, and affective. He has always answered my questions and clarified any issue or problem that arises. He is quick to resolve any issues or discrepancies in an extremely timely manner. He makes herself available, and his customer service is exceptional. Between Alan, the sales person, and David, I could not be more happy with my purchase. They both put kept me at ease and insured me that everything would be just fine throughout this process. I love my new home.

We purchased in December of 2024 and the whole experience has been great. Highland builds a great home and the response to any issues have been great. Would definitely recommend to purchase a Highland home over any other builders in 6 Creeks Subdivision.

Home buying experience was great with Highland. Expected a little more quality but overall, I'm satisfied.

Process was streamlined and we made many changes since we were in it from dirt so gave us an opportunity to select all finishouts to our liking creating a custom home. The entire staff was great and seamless! Very pleased with the results and highly recommended!

The team at Highland Homes are great to work with. No pressure and they always go the extra mile to walk you through everything. In our case they helped us move in a few weeks sooner than they anticipated.

Highland builds a great house. There were a few instances where there were inadvertent mistakes made with the incorrect material shipped that got installed. Once Highland found out, they quickly replaced the product to our satisfaction, no questions asked. We get an update each week providing information on what was completed that week and what's on the work schedule for the next week. It's been a great experience and I would highly recommend Highland to anyone looking to build a new home.

I love the quality of my home. Buying process was easy, professional and cordial. I was carried along through out the building and buying process. I love the after sales service which I need as a first time Home buyer. Will do investment property with High Homes.

David is outstanding. Outstanding. of course there will be issues during the building process. He understood our concerns and reassured us that things would be addressed and taken care of. He was confident and we were confident in his abilities. He is professional and friendly. We always felt he “heard” our concerns and addressed them quickly and appropriately. David made the building process smooth and pleasant. We’ve always heard the horror stories about building and the stress it can cause. And he finished early! Yay. We were able to move out of the apartment 2 months early! Working with David was a dream. It was an amazing experience building with Highland. Our sales agent and builder were both very helpful, cared for our needs, and went above and beyond to give us our dream home.

Home was in good shape. Just obvious things that should have been taken care of before like painting, staining, floor creaking. This would avoid a lot of back and forth with different workers fixing issues. Other than that the issues did get fixed, it just takes time and we are happy with our new home.
