Great shoping experience, really nice house

Very nice set of people that work with highland home, even when my approval was delayed, they were very patient with me. The finishing of the house is topnotch, everyone that comes to my house always ask me, who is your building? They did a great job. I will always recommend Highland home.

Geoff has been amazing thru out the entire process

This was my second build. Highland went above my expectations in craftsmanships, customer service, and production deadlines. Glenn was a fantastic salesman and Jim was a phenomenal project manager. I could not have been happier with the process. I strongly recommend Highland homes to anyone looking for a new home in the area.

Super happy with the home, our sales consultant Cory and our construction manager Eric. We had 2 minor issues and both were resolved perfectly in a timely manner. Over the years I’ve purchased several homes & this was by far one of the best experiences I’ve ever had.

The over process was seamless and all personnel involved were professional, available, very responsive and helped this process to go smoothly before, during and after. I would highly recommend Highland Homes. They actually care about the buyer's concerns and needs and have beautiful and quality homes and very nice and well kept communities.

My experience was very easy. I signed, went to the design center and before I knew it I moved in! The communication was very good throughout the entire process.

Excellent support has been provided for early closing of the house and scheduling of all repair works. All identified items were addressed exceeding our expectations.

This marks our second experience as homeowners with a Highland Home. Our initial encounter with a Highland Home was around 2013, a few years after we tied the knot and embarked on homeownership together as a couple. Following the sale of our first home, we consistently found ourselves measuring subsequent residences against the standard set by Highland Home in terms of quality, space utilization, and overall aesthetic appeal. Working with Hector Duenas during sales negotiations and contract signature was very smooth. He was very helpful, responsive and solution oriented. Dealing with Highland Home Loans was not very pleasant. We had to work with 3 different people for several months. We asked 20% mortgage of the house value and at the last minute, 4 weeks prior to closing, our application was rejected which put us very stressful situation. There is a room to improve the screening & approval process at Highland Home Loans. In our case it should have taken 30 mins to accept or reject our application rather than months for a person with a basic financial knowledge. Our project manager Jonathan Mayfield was excellent. He explained us all civil & mechanical details related to the house, addressed any concerns or minor quality issues timely. He is very professional and supportive. It was a great pleasure working with Jonathan. There are few things to improve on quality & layout in or around the house. Such as AC unit blocks the entrance to the backyard, fireplace does not have installed igniter. ... More

The build process was great, seamless process. The only issue I had is I didn’t get the exact paint trim on the exterior of my home.

We bought an inventory home in the Bel Air Village from Highland Home. First, Highland Home's craftsmanship is unmatched regardless of which community you go to. We purchased the Ellington floor plan and we really love it. The home purchase process was very seamless. We have been in the house for about two months and haven't had any major issues. The first issue we encountered was that the house wasn't heating up and it was very cold at night but Miguel was very helpful and sent us the right contact for it to get fixed quickly.

Me and my family had to relocate to Texas, and we had a ton of anxiety as well as concerns about how quickly we can move into a new home. However, we worked with a local realtor and they identified a location in Rockwall where a house was due to be completed in December. We reached out to the agent, and she was very accommodating and connected with the project manager that was working the house. After a couple of months, they were very responsive to all of our requests and assisted us where needed. Truly this company aim to please their clients. The initial encounter with the office team is the critical part, they will layout the options given your price range and patiently assisting you.

Our superintendent Blake was awesome! Monica and Sydney were a pleasure to work with. They all took care of us while trying to build a home while still living over 2.5 hours away. Highland Homes was a very accommodating builder which was much appreciated.

I find Tm and Dalton to be very helpful in the process. Any issues that have come up Dalton has been amazing dealing with it.

Our project manager Blake was the best. He was always responsive and took care of all of our questions and request. The quality of work done on our home was exceptional.

My experience with Highland Homes goes back to the 80’s as a child, when my parents purchased two Highland Homes in the Dallas area. So, when it came time to purchase a Highland Home for my own family, the decision and trust in the brand was easy, already proven, and well established. I will say that my own experience on the construction side wasn’t flawless, but when it came time to make things right and address found issues, responses and actions taken were swift . Highland Homes, like many truly customer-centric corporations, continues to solidify that their customers (and their name/brand) is important in their continued success. Unfortunately, the barn door has been mistakenly built (not per dwgs), and it's been 2 months without a resolution to this mistake.

Valerie was our sales rep and Michael our builder. Both were friendly and professional. Both were responsive and we felt like they were looking out for us.

We are blessed to have made this purchase with highland . Quality was excellent.
