I was so happy find highland home they are awesome.

Love our house …

Our closing date was pushed by a month. When we moved in, there were tons of items that needed to be fixed. It's been almost 2 months we have moved in and there is always something to fix.

Renee and Dylan have been the absolute best. The entire process from the purchase, construction and even after we were handed our keys has been amazing. They are so responsive and always follow through. We are so happy with our new home!

Great house- Well built and thought out. Loved our builder rep!

Painter didn’t do a good finishing

Kim and Stefanie were great. Very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. Jose fixed any issues I had as soon as I brought them to his attention. Very satisfied with my home so far. I have recommended many friend to buy a highland home.

Quality and beautiful homes. Judicious use of space. Very nice and responsive people - everyone that we have dealt with before, during and after the purchase of the house. Everyone that we have talked to about Highland Homes all do have nice things to say. Highland Homes do build beautiful homes and back them up with great services. I highly recommend.

My wife and I had the best experience in buying a Highland house. We lived in another state at the time and had to communicate mostly over the phone or emails. The minor issues we had were promptly resolved by either Danny or Lesli. We have been in our home for about 6 weeks now and are very happy with the quality of materials and workmanship. I am extremely impressed with Danny, when I have an issue he takes the time to explain the process of it being resolved. Great Experience! Highland Homes is the best and take care of you throughout the home buying process. They are also there for you after you purchase and close on the house.

Overall not happy, 8 miserable months.

The financial side of the transaction went smoothly. When it came with the actual, physical habitation, the workmanship was fair. Fortunately, when issues arose and reported, the building manager was available.

The lay out of the home is just right for us. The location is spot on for what we were looking for. Neighbors are great as well which is good. The issue is the details. The craftsmanship work done for the caulking around the floor trim is the worst I’ve ever seen, (not our first home build) door handles falling off, shower curtain rods not installed, just laying on top of tile till they fall, Stove not wired correctly, short cuts taken on trim work around doors and kitchen. Grout work is not professional either. We understand things happen and it can never be perfect, but this is just small detail work that a craftsman should be skilled in and take pride in, if a door handle can’t be put on correctly then how do we know the foundation or walls or roof was done correctly? We only listed a small amount of the issues found. With that said, they have come and fixed the issues which is good but with the history and amount of homes they do, we should be farther along with some pride in the work. The finance part of our home buying was fantastic. No complaints there, but the construction part of the home buying is horrible. The workmanship of our house is very poor and the value for the price paid is not worth it. The response to issues is a joke. I have purchased homes before and this is by far the worst experience I have ever encountered. Highland should be ashamed of presenting their homes to buyers like this. Truly a lack of customer service. Customer service is what makes America great. I am an unsatisfied home buyer and I will never purchase from Highland again in the future or recommend anyone to do so either. ... More

So many things still need repair as we closed before all work was completed properly due to rising interest rates. Plumbing failed within 4 weeks of moving in and backed up into the bathrooms. Shane is on top of these things and I will be happier when all of the work is completed, but for the price point on this home, I expected things to be much better.

Overall it was a good experience. Our sales counselor was amazing, she guided us through and answered our questions and concerns diligently. The GC's we had were awesome and made a point to have a good relationship with us. The worst part was dealing with some of their subs that just rushed through their job without any oversight or quality control. Our GC's were very responsive to any issues that came up due to the subs. We were also rushed into closing at the end of the month even though the house wasn't ready and our GC told his superiors that. Low grade craftsmenship especially to the exterior fof the house. Brick and motar poorly done.

We will look to purchase a Highland home in the future. The quality and experience was much better than previously purchased homes.

First time buying home with Highland homes and the experience was pleasant. Everyone involved in the process were very nice, attentive and approachable.

Ryan did amazing job with fixing all issue’s and having the home done on time.

This is our second home with Highland. They are a great builder. They are not perfect as nobody is. They are perfect in making things right and making the customer happy. No other builder drives customer satisfaction as highland does.

My experience with Highland Homes was good from beginning to end. Everyone involved gives first hand attention through each buying process. The quality is great and I couldn’t be happier with Highland Homes.

I've had 4 builds in under15 years and this has been my worst experience. (My previous builders were Lennar, Castle Rock, and Long Lake Ltd...wonder builders, experience, and quality of work) COVID-19 and logistics had no bearing on oversight/quality of craftsmanship. (Excuse used "TRUST THE PROCESS" it will be corrected in the end...I can't trust the process when I don't have experienced Project Management/Oversight). I've been in my home 90 days and still have unfinished work. Highland Meridiana will be receiving a poor BBB Report to make customers aware... Foundation: Blueprints not followed I even told the PM prior to them pour the foundation yet they had to tear-up bust bathroom foundation to move tub plumbing. Foundation poured on raining misty day my back porch and garage are horribly finished due to weather conditions. Driveway: Poorly done cracks/major breaks (redone because I requested it. Structure: Poor Material Used damaged lumber used (identified by me and external inspector) Dry Wall had severe waives in master bedroom I Identified and had them redo. Craftsmanship: Rework/Sloppy work, unable to make proper 45 degree cuts to form 90 degree angles. Front window over garage was not level (spouse identified...PM swore it was taping...yet after putting a level on it it was deemed un-level. Arched windows were not insulated properly...I identified prior to dry walling, Door Frames broken in 3 rooms they attempted to just paint over or add caulking to hide again I identified and had them correct the issue. Second story floors not screwed securely squeaky/sounded like paper when walking on them. Carpet not properly stretched seams in most notable places Dripping paint....redo, loose stair treads redo; bad cabinets redo, as you can see it a theme of poor quality work with constant rework. Front door unlevel insects able to enter through top. Water sprinkler system two zones failed, rewire. Lights flicker in home when AC or Vacuum turns on, Garage door, squeak tremendously with large knocking sound. Dishwasher repaired 3 times, then finally replaced. Vent hood installers 3 separate trades 90 days still not installed...(Parts on back order...etc ordering wrong parts...lack of oversight) $700K Lemon...I wish there was a Lemon Law for Homes I would give this one back if SO!
