Process was seamless from sales of lot, internal design and upgrades.

Everyone we interacted and worked with at Highland were great. The Bridgeland sales, admin and construction folks were very knowledgeable and attentive to our needs. I highly recommend Highland as a conscience and professional organization.

I had a great experience with the builder and he met all my needs and addressed all my concerns.

The tile in the master bath was not up to par but he came back and made it look better. the first painters were terrible, there chaucking sucked but Harrison brought in another painter and they were great, we had a problem finding the brick must of the samples they didn't make anymore. All other issues were done except the floor they have it schedule some time in December

First off, Ashley and Stephanie in the sales office were awesome! They were so helpful and accommodating with us during the buying process, it was a pleasure to work with them. Sean, our construction manager is another person who I can’t praise enough. He always made himself available and kept us in the loop on the progress of the build. We had some minor issues during construction, which is to be expected. Once identified Sean was on it and promptly corrected. Two issues we still have are with the painting and landscaping. Caulking around baseboards was sloppy and not consistent from one area to the next. Paint is thin and the walls are not saturated at all. As far as landscaping, The topsoil they used under the sod is virtually non existent. There are hills and valleys all over the yard and the amount and size of the rocks I dig out daily are ridiculous. Since ours is inventory we starting finding issues from first week.

Hands down best builders in San Antonio! Absolutely loved working with Highland homes to have our home built. We were well informed every step of the way! Any questions we had were quickly answered. Dorothy was absolutely amazing from start to finish! We came into San Antonio in Jun and they worked hard to have the house ready way ahead of schedule! The home is absolutely beautiful! I have zero complaints about quality of home we got!

Anytime I have a concern Austin responds right away with a solution or update. Austin is professional and informative.

Overall they are very good, a pleasure to deal with. Afer purchasing the house, we've found some materials that lack quality, small items, but they should pay mor attention to those details

First, I would like to say that Brandon did an amazing job with everything. He resolved all of our issues and kept in great contact with us throughout the entire process and went the extra mile to ensure we were constantly informed. One thing I would like to bring to light is the quality of the build. It seems a large portion of the build was rushed. Framing, trimming, caulking, tile, could all have used a little extra care. However, the good outweighs the bad. Overall, we happy about the home.

I found a gem of a home that was well built, comfortable, and a fantastic value. The sales process was trouble free.

Working with our salesman, Hector, was great. He could be working on 10 projects and never miss a beat! Our builder, David, made great effort to accommodate our wishes-even when they couldn’t get our first choices in tile. They ripped a whole section out to redo tile to keep our original vision. After moving in, there have been the inevitable kinks. I’ve been impressed with every worker who has come back to make things right.

There were some issues after closing but all were addressed within first 45 days.

This experience was perfect for me. Every wish was fulfilled and timely. All the services of the home was taken care of by knowledgeable trade personal. I had no worries and this is so important at 85 years old. Service at its very best and I love my Highland Home.

We had a very smooth home buying experience with Highland. Our home was under construction when we bought it, so most selections had been made. We were, however, able to make a few changes that were important to us, and that process was very easy. Karen sent photos of progress on a weekly basis, and was quick to respond whenever we had questions. Our project manager changed during construction, and the transition to the new project manager went very well. Amilcar was very responsive and easy to work with. We also enjoyed working with Will. We really love our home and are happy that we chose Highland. The only minor disappointment has been the landscaping. Deer are very fond of many of the front yard plants, and much of the sod has struggled to become fully established. Most of this is not under Highland's control, but I think consideration should be given to installing deer resistant plants in the front. On the plus side, both front and back yard were fully landscaped so we could focus on moving in and we didn't have to worry about finishing up the yard. Overall, Highland builds very nice homes, and I would not hesitate to recommend them to others. ... More

Overall a great experience. My biggest issue are the following; 1. The amount I paid for my home and the space .. houses are just so close to each other. Literally the home behind me is in my backyard… I can’t even have privacy. I paid way too much money to not have some sort of privacy. I know that on me as well because I should have pick a home that didn’t have the neighbors in the backyard. Ridiculous for the price though. 2. Workmanship- for the most part ok but ton of area that have paint issues (not enough coats of paint), damage to doors (scuffs, paint drips) and under the sick multiple holes in the wood where it seems like someone was confused where the hole needed to be. Put a new piece instead of leaving that messed up piece there. I spent too much money on this home for it not to to have detailed oriented work done. The home buying process with Highland Homes was very professional and unique. They made you aware of all aspects of the buying process, and made sure ,you were at ease at all times. They were curious and a pleasure to deal with. My hat goes off to Highland and all their team!!

Our experience with Highland was issue free. Our salesman and our construction manger were top notch. They handled our requests as we sent them in and were professional and speedy. The home is the best home we have lived in. We love it.

Buying experience with Highland Home's sales and finance team was great, the construction manager was accessible too... Less stress compared to my previous buying experience. My home floor plan is functional(living and kitchen area) and easy to decorate. The exteriors are well made with high quality materials, with water efficient sods. However, like every new home these days the interior finishing quality isn't that great. The paint quality is poor, you can't wipe off stains without doing touch ups. The toilet water systems are old-school and not efficient. The doors are not tight enough allowing energy losses mostly in the attic areas. I believe some of these issues could be avoided if you build from scratch, you can pick energy efficient items. The warranty respond team can do better. Jason was great sales person and Jared was also great. Communication was great and upto our satisfaction. The only constructive feedback I would like to give them is that they should be consistent in offering upgrades to the neighbors for example there was an option to add a gate on the back fence which was missed for me where is there a couple of options that were missed for my neighbors. If there is a script that they can follow or list of items that they can follow for upgrades or any other things that could be great. Also there should be a way to record the walk-through meeting when they explain everything because it is hard to remember in the excitement of looking at the home. Highly recommend Highland Homes. Big plus is the trustworthiness. The builder (John) I worked with is extremely professional and a great asset for Highland.
