Both our builder and sales lady were very professional and attentive to anything we needed, including responding to texts and emails. The whole process was excellent! Only issue was a bowed framing around the master shower. We expected a much higher attention to detail on the construction side.

Our construction project manager was wonderful and worked closely with our realtor. It was unbelievable with what’s going on in the world, but he delivered the project on time. Amazing. Build materials are decent quality - above average - but not what we are used to coming from a DiVosta home in Florida. The windows are the most noticeable difference. They are lower quality and the frames around them are slightly off. Not our PM’s fault by any means. Thank you - we would choose highland homes again!

Design experience was excellent, with great communication and assistance with selection of elevation, brick, flooring, and options. Great assistance with electrical/switches/outlet design by construction manager. The construction manager also did a great job keeping us up to date on progress, including frequent pictures and timelines for next steps. We had delays and selection problems due to supply chain and supplier issues with brick and flooring, so we had no choice but to reselect both several times and ended up with not getting our first, second, or even third choices. But once built, Highland was pretty responsive early on to correct the very few minor problems. It took a while to get most done due to manpower shortages and covid (still waiting on electrician) but we love the workmanship and design of our new home! The neighborhood is also awesome! ... More

The build process went very smoothly especially given that I was out-of-state and only able to visit a couple of times. I think that this was largely due to the sales counsellor, designer and construction manager. The sales counselor in particular was always reachable and responsive to requests for information, offering suggestions, and discussing/implementing changes. Mine was a Spec house and I am very happy with the designer's choices of those details that I would otherwise have had to make. Overall, the workmanship and materials are excellent - any reservations I have are pretty inconsequential. We built during the pandemic. When most builders were taking shortcuts, 12+ months to build and changing contracts, Highland Homes stayed consistent with their original promise to the best of their ability. They also had great upgrades and options to choose from that made our house really stand out from others in the community. We feel like we got a quality home vs. a cookie cutter one. The only downside to our process was the lack of communication from our project manager, which required numerous escalations just to find out what was going on with our home. Overall satisfied, it’s a very beautiful house and we love it. The only thing is that the contractor forgot to build a linen closet for our upstairs. Now that we closed, they didn’t go back in to fix it.

Love the home. Glenn in sales and Tommy the construction manager did an outstanding job. They made the process smooth from begining to end.

We had a great experience with our Highland Homes buying experience and our home. They provided transparency in the entire process, telling us what they could and could do and allowed us to be involved in every aspect of the process. They upgraded materials, as needed, without question or additional cost that resulted from the current supply chain issues, The construction manager even came out on a Saturday evening to address an issue we found during a visit to the house. We would highly recommend Highland Hames as your builder.

This is our second build and first time with Highland Homes. Very impressed with the whole process from start to finish. From sales to after- closing service, they have been very accommodating, responsive, and professional. They have built us a beautiful home.

In general it was a great experience, we were informed every week about the status and progress of our home, We haven't had issues in our house and for those that were found (minimum details), those were solved immediately... Jared is an excellent project manager, always available and ready to provide feedback and support as needed.

I purchased this HH home at the finished stage. The buying, closing and move in processes were smooth. The build quality looks good. Interior details were a bit sloppy. The appliances were “builder grade”. Jason, our project manager was responsive and took care of most issues, though he seemed to have lost steam after a while. :-) All in all a positive experience.

Experience was great from sales to builder meetings. Highland puts out a quality product, I would recommend them to anyone and would purchase another Highland home in the future.

Great customer service!! This is their greatest quality that Highland Homes have achieved. They are always willing to fix any and all genuine issues that may occur. Overall home design and quality is very good.

Everyone involved with the purchase of our home was excellent, from the sales staff to the home project manager to the loan processor.

Pro: Blake N. our builder was tops. We had confidence and satisfaction throughout the build because he has been so helpful and responsive to us. Con: The people who put in the yard did a rotten job. It's filled with ruts, bumps and weeds. Compared to other yards around us, ours is pitiful.

Quality, Value & Great Design

Highland builds a great home and the design center experience was one of the better ones we have had out of all the homes we built. The new home consultant was very enthusiastic and knowledge and was an advocate for us as buyers throughout the process. Our construction manager was a joy to work with and was very responsive to issues raised during the build process. Job site cleanliness was one area that was a bit frustrating, but overall the end project was great!

Overall, I have a good experience with purchasing Highlandhome.
