It was an excellent experience during and after the buying experience. We love our new home. Devin and Linda were absolutely incredible.

My husband and I had the best experience with Highland. From walking through the home to purchasing to doing the walkthroughs with Yale, everything went as smoothly as possible and we couldn’t be happier with our home purchase. The quality of the materials used is very good, designs are beautiful and efficient, and there’s not wasted space. Yale was able to change out the things we didn’t like, add what we wanted/asked for, and above all else he is a very kind person. Even after we moved in he still comes to check on us or to help us find contractors for things we want to get done to the house (such as garage floor epoxy). Overall had a good experience. Mortgage process went smooth, closing was smooth, and construction manager was great during busy time at end of the year. I do feel like there could have been more done from an informational standpoint directly related to the neighborhood. There weren't any instructions about registering for the neighborhood amenities or anything like that. There also was not instructions for things like the smart home or security system. Again, these were just minor things to an overall good experience. I would recommend the community and Highland Homes to others

We got a great plan and decided to buy with some allowed modifications. The customer service and construction manager were great. But the quality of workmanship is terrible. Even after constant monitoring the building process, we had hundreds issues including some terrible ones even after closing. Some defects could not be rectified. There were many omits and misses. But silver lining is great service. Even after a month of closing, the issues were addressed. The home was built in haste to meet closing date and poorly done in some areas (carpentry, electrical, roofing, painting) that is not expected to a costly home. it was straight forward, The house was in good condition so from inspection to closing was pretty fast. The house is worth every dime spent. thank you Highland homes.

Had a good experience working with Highland Homes building our home. Quick responses to our questions, kept us updated on progress, and always followed up on issues to make sure they were resolved.

We have been in our home for less than half a year. We have had to chase our builder down to fix the mistakes they made/left - prior to moving in, we had an inspector come out to our home. We were informed that all items on the inspection report had been addressed. I made the mistake of trusting highland homes. It has been about 5 months and we are still dealing with issues in this home. I wish we never purchased this home.

We had a great experience purchasing our Highland home in Mosaic. Bryn was an amazing sales professional—always responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful throughout the entire process. Jason, our construction manager, did a fantastic job keeping everything on track and communicating clearly every step of the way. Their teamwork made the experience smooth and stress-free, and we absolutely love our new home. Highly recommend Highland and this team!

They did not cover all the options available and were stuck on building as is, not what could be done. We were not given complete listings or copies of what they discussed in the meetings. We had to fight to have any issues addressed that were seen at walk through. The house and concrete (driveway, garage and patio) were filthy at move in.

Very responsive team, issues resolved in timely manner. Team followed up and gave great weatherizing advice for home.

The floor plan is very nicely laid out. All cabinetry, flooring, appliances, etc. are of excellent quality.

Definitely helps when you know whaf you liek and looking for

From the moment we decided and selected Highland Homes to be our home builder, our experience has been beyond exceptional. Kira Grenier and Mike Driskill, are the best duo sales and construction manager we’ve had the pleasure working with. Thank you from the bottom of our heart, we are definitely home.

Small door widths - 24" on many... not enough options at the design center. Sometimes - none at all on some options. Check the design center numbers - I found they overcharged me almost $30,000 - which they did correct. Pricing is crazy - for instance - getting door pulls (handles) - you buy by the room not per pull. Some rooms - the pulls were $30 each, other rooms - $90 each. No mud room - just walls. When I asked them the price to add a simple bench... $5,000! They also fail to tell you the price to actually finish the kitchen - cabinets will be extra - and then painting etc. Most builder include that in the original pricing. $5,000 for a tub that only costs $900. With that said - the Sales Counselor Adam - great! Very helpful and professional. The project Manager Orlando - great as well - always available and great with return calls and texts. Highland Homes need to look at the limited selections at the design center. They need to have more than 1-2 options on kitchen appliances, including choosing a different manufacturer. Need options on different doors than the ones builders stop using a decade ago. LED Disc lights!? Thos have to go. If your light burns out - you have to replace the whole receptacle - upwards of $30-$40. When management heard about the pulls and mud room, they made some accommodations for me. So - I would recommend Highland - but with only a few easy tweaks - they could be 10 out of 10. I love the home - but get ticked every time I walk into a bathroom and bump my shoulders on the 24" doors... ... More

The rumors are true. Highland Homes really is a cut above the rest. After visiting countless builders and model homes in the DFW we settled for Highland Homes due to their exceptional customer service, knowledgeable sales and build team, flexibility with customization, no frills process and outstanding build quality. If we could build again we would build with Highland Homes.

Working with our Highland team was great from the very beginning to closing. Duwayne, our sales consultant, and Austin our construction manager were great. As a construction superintendent myself. I can highly recommend Highland Home. Of course there will be issues and set backs as with any construction project. However our Highland representatives have gone out of their way to make sure everything was handled and all issues were resolved. We cannot recommend Highland Homes enough.

From the first step into the model home, Jessica perfectly balanced being available to answer questions with giving us space to explore. Jessica was always responsive through our whole process and quick to share details for any requests that we made. Jessica organized meetings for us when we were considering changes to the carpet. Jessica made us feel like we were her top priority. Adam, our construction manager, was thorough and proactive. Once we got closer to closing, Adam handled the meetings throughout the final stages. If I had a question of a concern, Adam would follow-up and make sure any corrections were completed. Adam also spent time helping me understand features of the house that were different from my previous homes and had on hand contacts with venders for any future needs I might have. We love our home and would highly recommend Highland homes as a builder. The quality of the build was top notch, and we appreciated D'Marco responding immediately to any issues we encountered after taking the keys. He did not hesitate to address any of our issues and that is not common for new builds. Highland takes pride in their work, and it clearly shows. Additionally, Amy was fantastic to work with and she was there to support us through the purchasing process and addressed any questions we had.
