Best experience to date. The new home sales associate was second to none.

First time building a home and glad we did it with Highland. Jeff and Judy were easy to work with in the office and Bryan was and continues to be responsive with our home. The materials were excellent so far and workmanship was good, any issues I had were quickly addressed. Nothing is ever perfect and they will fix anything which is not up to standard. There are a few things I wish I could have added or changed, but those are minor compared to what I got. Dean was great to work with! You could tell he wanted to make the deal work because he recognized our family needs. Our realtor and Dean came together and the result is that we are in a great home. My only negative comment was (still is) the work was messy, meaning drips of paint, sheetrock mud in the cracks of the floors and mild scratches on things like the counters/windows. But again overall we are happy with the home and have no doubt that Highland will address our concerns without any pushback. Thanks again to Cary (our realtor) and Dean for working hard to find the middle ground.

Highland Homes provided great service during and after the sale. The usual issues that arise in a new home build were addressed promptly. Mostly the quality of people we worked with we’re just excellent. Would certainly recommend to a friend.

The builder had gone above and beyond to make sure we get a quality home. With us being first time homeowners, there were a lot of things we would have overlooked but Highland homes educated us and fixed all the issues that we would have missed. We are so happy we selected a home builder who cares about their work and makes sure the process was as smooth as possible.

Timing was great. There were several small items that were not complete at closing that we are still waiting on: peep hole, paint touch up, etc. While we appreciate the design center not up selling, there are a few things we would have gladly added: too coat of paint to the walls. We are quite disappointed in the quality of the paint/ texture. It is impossible to clean without scratching the paint or chipping the texture. We have never experienced this and feel it is a big miss from the designers. We would also have put a top coat on our floors if we had known the option was there. We have small dogs that escape the fence often. We are in the process of adding additional fencing to keep them in and safe. ... More

I would like to compliment Chris our CM for an amazing job and personality. He made us feel very Comfortable. He did an outstanding job in a timely manner and I’m grateful that he built our house. His bedside manner was incredible. In the end Highland is lucky to have Chris as an employee.

The home buying process was great. This is my first new home in 20 years. We heard stories from others about difficulties with their new homes and the buying process. So, we expected the some difficulties. Highland Homes was great. The construction manager gave a thorough walk through and all items were addressed quickly. I have already given recommendations to friends and family to buy from Highland Homes

The whole experience was handled easily and professionally. The warranty issues have been minor and handled quickly once I submitted them online. Good company to business with and would recommend them to anyone looking to buy a new home.

There were some minor cosmetic issues that were addressed quickly. Awesome team to work with.

Melissa (builder) and Julie (sales) were both incredibly responsive and helpful. Couldnt ask for better people to work with. This is especially true when we originally had no timeline which turned into a strict deadline. They went above and beyond to get us in our house ahead of or first born arriving. Would highly recommend working with them and certainly would work with them again in the future.

Be sure you understand the plan you want to build. The upgrades will set your home apart and give you more enjoyment. Be sure and check all your options. Be sure to communicate with the office support team and selection staff for your options to make sure you get what you pay for. They are the most important people to ensure your satisfaction. This group is the ones that can make sure your builder is updated on your home.

It was a great experience. The sales manager Ryan was always and is still ready to help with any questions or concerns. He is very knowledgeable about the home building process. It was a great experience. I would recommend Highland homes to family and friends.

If I have one negitive thing to say, it would be bathroom drawers are to small & kitchen cabinets needed to be a little deeper. Other than that they're a quality excellent home.

Builder has been great to respond to minor issues experienced with the project. Great home designs.
