Me and my family had to relocate to Texas, and we had a ton of anxiety as well as concerns about how quickly we can move into a new home. However, we worked with a local realtor and they identified a location in Rockwall where a house was due to be completed in December. We reached out to the agent, and she was very accommodating and connected with the project manager that was working the house. After a couple of months, they were very responsive to all of our requests and assisted us where needed. Truly this company aim to please their clients. The initial encounter with the office team is the critical part, they will layout the options given your price range and patiently assisting you.

Our superintendent Blake was awesome! Monica and Sydney were a pleasure to work with. They all took care of us while trying to build a home while still living over 2.5 hours away. Highland Homes was a very accommodating builder which was much appreciated.

I find Tm and Dalton to be very helpful in the process. Any issues that have come up Dalton has been amazing dealing with it.

Our project manager Blake was the best. He was always responsive and took care of all of our questions and request. The quality of work done on our home was exceptional.

My experience with Highland Homes goes back to the 80’s as a child, when my parents purchased two Highland Homes in the Dallas area. So, when it came time to purchase a Highland Home for my own family, the decision and trust in the brand was easy, already proven, and well established. I will say that my own experience on the construction side wasn’t flawless, but when it came time to make things right and address found issues, responses and actions taken were swift . Highland Homes, like many truly customer-centric corporations, continues to solidify that their customers (and their name/brand) is important in their continued success. Unfortunately, the barn door has been mistakenly built (not per dwgs), and it's been 2 months without a resolution to this mistake.

Valerie was our sales rep and Michael our builder. Both were friendly and professional. Both were responsive and we felt like they were looking out for us.

We are blessed to have made this purchase with highland . Quality was excellent.

Everyone we interacted and worked with at Highland were great. The Bridgeland sales, admin and construction folks were very knowledgeable and attentive to our needs. I highly recommend Highland as a conscience and professional organization.

First off, Ashley and Stephanie in the sales office were awesome! They were so helpful and accommodating with us during the buying process, it was a pleasure to work with them. Sean, our construction manager is another person who I can’t praise enough. He always made himself available and kept us in the loop on the progress of the build. We had some minor issues during construction, which is to be expected. Once identified Sean was on it and promptly corrected. Two issues we still have are with the painting and landscaping. Caulking around baseboards was sloppy and not consistent from one area to the next. Paint is thin and the walls are not saturated at all. As far as landscaping, The topsoil they used under the sod is virtually non existent. There are hills and valleys all over the yard and the amount and size of the rocks I dig out daily are ridiculous. Best home buying experience from start to finish.

First, I would like to say that Brandon did an amazing job with everything. He resolved all of our issues and kept in great contact with us throughout the entire process and went the extra mile to ensure we were constantly informed. One thing I would like to bring to light is the quality of the build. It seems a large portion of the build was rushed. Framing, trimming, caulking, tile, could all have used a little extra care. However, the good outweighs the bad. Overall, we happy about the home.

There were some issues after closing but all were addressed within first 45 days.

We had a very smooth home buying experience with Highland. Our home was under construction when we bought it, so most selections had been made. We were, however, able to make a few changes that were important to us, and that process was very easy. Karen sent photos of progress on a weekly basis, and was quick to respond whenever we had questions. Our project manager changed during construction, and the transition to the new project manager went very well. Amilcar was very responsive and easy to work with. We also enjoyed working with Will. We really love our home and are happy that we chose Highland. The only minor disappointment has been the landscaping. Deer are very fond of many of the front yard plants, and much of the sod has struggled to become fully established. Most of this is not under Highland's control, but I think consideration should be given to installing deer resistant plants in the front. On the plus side, both front and back yard were fully landscaped so we could focus on moving in and we didn't have to worry about finishing up the yard. The home buying process with Highland Homes was very professional and unique. They made you aware of all aspects of the buying process, and made sure ,you were at ease at all times. They were curious and a pleasure to deal with. My hat goes off to Highland and all their team!!

Our building experience with Highland Homes was fantastic! Working with Aleasha and Michael was great. Their response to our questions and concerns was professional, prompt, and attentive to detail. I would not hesitate to build with them again!

It was not an easy process given the nature of the market. Denise was supportive and attentive every step of the way. In addition to that, everyone that worked with us was supportive-we are grateful, and happy with our purchase.

Working with our Highland Homes sales counselor and project manager was a great experience from beginning to end. They were very pleasant and responsive to our needs and questions.

Sales and office employees were very "customer service" oriented, which was a nice change from what I've experienced in the past with a particular homebuilder. The construction manager is awesome and goes out of his way to accommodate and fix any issues.

We purchased a new Highland home in Denison which closed in November of this year. Since house was already under construction, and had fallen through twice, we were unable to make any substantial changes. On the plus side, we did not have to pay any closing costs due to the generous offers from the builder and lender. We were in the right place at the right time when the house became available, and we got the lot we wanted. It is an attractive house with a good layout, and the kitchen layout of out model has a good amount of storage. There really is not a lot to be critical of. I would say the Highland Homes has positioned themselves as a more upscale option in the housing market. With that in mind, it would be nice to see more attention to the small details. Some of the work was not up to what they were marketing themselves as. One design complaint would be that the master suite behind the family room and kitchen area has no sound insulation. Anything going on in that area, or the TV mounted on the common wall will prevent anyone from sleeping in the bedroom. Overall, it is a very nice house. Reggie ... More

The customer service and responsiveness is great. All questions and issues are quickly addressed.

Highland homes are well built with good floor plans. We are in a new portion of the development and there are 3 developers who build here. We are living in a garbage dump!! The builders make no effort to clean up and theirs trash is everywhere. We are constantly picking up trash out of our yard, some is construction debris and even paper plates and cups from the workers lunches!
