Great experience

We have moved into our beautiful home and love it very much We have had some issues here and there but that’s to be expected in any new home but they come immediately to resolve or fix any issues right away this has been amazing on their part. The accommodations for making my home for my needs has also been amazing and greatly aapreciated

Terrific experience going through the process of a new build. The construction supervisor, Geoffrey, was fantastic and communicated promptly.

Over all this experience of building and buying our new home has been very good! The house was built very quickly, two months sooner than expected. We are very pleased with our new home.

Builder associates, construction manager and workers are very good in responding to the requests and had a very really good experience. But the quality of the material is not good and very much disspointing.

My experience with Tim was the best experience a home buyer can ask for. Easy to work with, listens and truly cares for his customers. Always willing to help bring your dream to reality. This also rings true for his team. From builder to the supporting staff, they were a pleasure to work with and delivered on their word.

Higland homes are luxury homes. They are not cheap but an excellent investment with high quality. If you looking for quality then highland homes is your 1st and last stop

Since ours is inventory we starting finding issues from first week.

Jason was great sales person and Jared was also great. Communication was great and upto our satisfaction. The only constructive feedback I would like to give them is that they should be consistent in offering upgrades to the neighbors for example there was an option to add a gate on the back fence which was missed for me where is there a couple of options that were missed for my neighbors. If there is a script that they can follow or list of items that they can follow for upgrades or any other things that could be great. Also there should be a way to record the walk-through meeting when they explain everything because it is hard to remember in the excitement of looking at the home. In a heart beat, I would overall recommend the builder.

The home warranty was explained fully by your representative. However, when having submitted our varied requests for service through the website, there was NO, repeat NO, response towards resolution nor even an attempt to contact us. When after notifying the warranty representative, we have yet to hear anything in response. We are sadly disappointed since some of the issues were known prior to closure. Unacceptable comes to mind.

Enjoyable buying experience. While I am very aware builders are overwhelmed with strong demand, logistic and employment issues, follow up on completing punch list items could be faster.

I like everything about Homeland.

We've had several things thast aren't pleasing but our PM has been right on top of them. Getting subs here to correct has and is an issue. Your cleaning crew, in my opinion, does not do a great job. We've been battling a floor issue here since the walk thru and still waiting. Getting closer but still not complete. Very frustrating at best. Your electrical company too can be frustrating. Takes them too long to respond if they respond at all. WHen one pays for this level of home, there are certain expectations. You all need to hone in on your subs and contractors doing it right the very first time. Am I disappointed in some areas? Absolutely!! Overall, I'd give the experience 4 stars out of 5. Highland makes nice homes with good layouts that make you feel like you are in a bigger home, and don't pack the house with space you can't use. The houses have a lot of light and you can tell they are on a different level with quality. We were actually referred to Highland by some friends who lived in one in a different part of the state and loved it. The biggest disappointment was that when we moved in, there were several things on the house that weren't completed and should have been either verified or checked before we got there. We had to submit 7 warranty tickets within the first week of living in the home, for various issues ranging from the thermostat not going below 72 (due to a contractor lock on the thermostat), to the oven not being plugged in - general things which should have been addressed before we moved in. What I will say is that once we brought these things up/submitted warranty tickets, our Construction Manager helped out with getting repairs moving and everything was resolved in a very intrepid manner, and we haven't had any further issues out of the items we listed needing to be addressed. The people you work with are great and they are responsive to the warranty items, the only reason I can't give a perfect rating is because quite frankly the house wasn't ready when we moved in. I am happy as a highland home buyer. Sales team helped me from beginning and later builder team took care of all our requirements and helped me at every stage of construction. They continuously gave updates through my construction phase and delivered as per the promise. I am happy to recommend for anyone

Working with the sales team was a great experience.

When I had issues . The issue was taken care of quickly ! The people are really great at taken care of issues. That the guys doing work either over looked are just didn’t do ! Real quick response time and very polite . And helpful

Great experience during the whole construction project. I wish I could be informed more when the people were working on the house, that way I could see any things that wasn’t done properly.

The loan dept was amazing

Sales Rep and Builder were great to work with for the most part. There were some workmanship issues that remained unresolved at the time of closing, which was not satisfactory for us. Overall, we have a well built home.
