We had a great experience working with Highland Homes from our first meeting with the sales team, to follow meetings with sales/design/construction, to the day we moved in. We had very few issues during the process or since we've moved in. My only complaint and why I gave only 3 stars on "Responsiveness to issues" is that since have have moved in, we have had a very hard time getting the maintenance/construction team to respond to tickets we've had open for weeks. I believe their team is overwhelmed, and do not expect it to improve as they are starting to break ground on the next phase behind our home. ... More

It is a great neighborhood

Highland Homes was open and honest throughout our entire home purchasing and construction process. Their support even after our closing date had been outstanding.

This was our second time building a new home. First was with a custom home builder and second was with Highland. We had a far superior experience with Highland. Aleasha and Michael were both wonderful to work with and helped with all questions and requests along the way. We would build again with Highland if the time ever arose. Thank you!!

I enjoyed the ability to choose from so many options while also receiving impressive standard options as well!

Debbie was great! She never once pressured me into doing anything I didn’t want to do and was very responsive. Her communication is superb (even after the closing). You can tell that she is genuinely on your side and wants what you want.

When we found out my company was going remote, we immediately knew we wanted to move back to our homestate of Texas! With no geographical restrictions on where we could live, however, the propsect of finding a community and a new home was very daunting. We looked at over 100 houses across Austin, Fort Worth, Dallas, Arlington and all communities therein. We are SO GLAD we found Highland Homes in the Walsh community! It was immediately apparent that the build quality was a level above the other builders we were looking at, and their whole team was friendly and responsive. Layne, our sales rep, was on call 24/7 for us and even helped us navigate the pecularities of insurance, taxes and other factors unique to Texas. Trustworthiness throughout the whole process from start to finish.

Highland homes’ plans really stand out with the high ceiling and open floor concept.

From the initial meeting with the sales rep to the final walk through, everything was easy. The sales person worked hard to get me what I wanted as far as the design budget went, so I didn’t have to sacrifice a lot as a single mom. My builder emailed me weekly to keep me in the loop as the building process progressed and was responsive to my questions or concerns. Highland has so many upgrades that are part of their standard package. I absolutely love my home!

The homebuying process from start to finish was stress-free and exceeded my expectations. As a first time homebuyer, I did not know what to expect thus had several questions which Highland answered swiftly and honestly. If you are like me, you will not regret purchasing a Highland Home!

The team did a great job addressing my needs and concerns. Overall the process was smooth and all were easy to work with. I give them the team a 10.

We had a little pause at the beginning of the pandemic. They work with our fears and allowed us to make changes to better meet or needs.

This was our second home and the experience was great. We were allowed to make different changes including non standard changes. Very responsive. The builder communicated with us on the construction every week.

Our timeline for moving in was quick and our construction manager took great care of us!

Highland Homes is first among not so many equals. My delay in responding is that due to the pandemic there are painting touch ups and a few other things which will be accomplished soon. The delays been at our request.

The Highland team was great. We were having difficulty selling our home and could not get into our Highland home until it sold. Unfortunately, we had a very negative experience with a realtor, which greatly contributed to this issue. Highland was very understanding and flexible with allowing us additional time to get a new realtor and we were able to sell our home! As far as the builder goes, Garrett was awesome! He provided excellent communication by sending a weekly progress report on the progress of the home and promptly follow-up on any questions or concerns we had.

I had a great experience with the builder! This is my first home and all I can say is that I’m very pleased for my experience.
