Highland Homes was very responsive to my questions during the building process. Very good builder and my home had no issues when I moved in. Highly recommend using Highland Homes.

Our construction project manager was wonderful and worked closely with our realtor. It was unbelievable with what’s going on in the world, but he delivered the project on time. Amazing. Build materials are decent quality - above average - but not what we are used to coming from a DiVosta home in Florida. The windows are the most noticeable difference. They are lower quality and the frames around them are slightly off. Not our PM’s fault by any means. Thank you - we would choose highland homes again!

Do not trust, don't sign documents until they finish the final walk through issues

Closed the house with a lot of defects. They promised to fix but take them forever.

Highland Homes has a great sales team. We never had any questions unanswered. Though we liked our building manager, highland homes outsources all the work and lacks a quality team and building manager hardly does quality check, We ended up following on many things after closing ( from a minor thing such as front door weather strip to a leaked window replacement ) which is frustrating at times.

Adam was very good and helpful during buying process. We loved the location of house, however, finishing and detailing is not good. We bought a house in end of October and they installed wrong bathroom wall tiles. Zack has been helping for construction management. We tole him that this is not the tile that we ordered. After that we did follow up 4 to 5 times and every time he would say he would find out and then never got back to us. We still don’t have correct tile in our master bathroom for which we already paid. Our one of bathroom cabinet is still needs to be changed.

Staff is very friendly and helpful but also professional Dustin - our builder - went above and beyond in completing and delivering our home to us

When we went to the model home to see the assorted options for what was standard and what was an upgrade, we were told granite on the countertops and island was a standard feature. What we got was quarts. I did not like the quality of the building material, nor the workmanship. When inquiring about the quality of the material, we were told it was standard quality material. My thoughts are just because something is standard for the industry; it should not mean it is also the standards for Highland Homes. Prior to closing, our home was supposed to be cleaned; it was not. However, I must say every time we reached out to the builder/project manager he answered every call. Overall, I think the value for the price I paid versus the final product is overvalued. ... More

Overall happy with our new home. Some punch list issues still exist that have been difficult to get much traction on.

Highland Homes worked with me to create the home I envisioned myself living in for many years. Not everything was perfect the first time around, but they really stepped up and made everything perfect in the end. So happy with this purchase and with the Highland Homes team that made it all come together!

Hello- Our sales associates for the house build and the front office were top notch and still are. High quality folks. They have been terrific. I even wrote a email raving about them. Our home closed three plus months ago and we still cannot get some of the items fixed that have been on the closing documents. Many things have been addressed but we are not complete. Lots of reasons why, but we have paid in full for the house being completed and have been very patient for what seems like a long time.

The quality of the materials and workmanship in Highland homes is not what you would expect for houses of this price range, the wood they used in our house during pandemic supply chain issues was substandard, base boards and all interior trim were installed as fast as possible leaving behind A LOT of small little cosmetic issues, if there is a spot where is hard to see around the trim, chances are there is no paint on it. If we try to remove a small stain from a wall using a damp cloth, the paint dissolves and the paper that wraps the drywall gets exposed immediately, several crooked electrical outlets around the house and a long list of small issues. They claim to cover all under their warranty, but they of course don't come to install higher quality materials you claim warranty fixes, they just come to fix things using the same original materials and they will give you 4-5 hours windows that you have to stay home from Monday to Friday for every single detail you need to get fixed. They offer competitive prices for the BASE model of the houses, but things that you would expect to be standard are not, everything is an upgrade and once you are done "upgrading" your house you are at least 50K - 60K above the "base price". ... Design experience was excellent, with great communication and assistance with selection of elevation, brick, flooring, and options. Great assistance with electrical/switches/outlet design by construction manager. The construction manager also did a great job keeping us up to date on progress, including frequent pictures and timelines for next steps. We had delays and selection problems due to supply chain and supplier issues with brick and flooring, so we had no choice but to reselect both several times and ended up with not getting our first, second, or even third choices. But once built, Highland was pretty responsive early on to correct the very few minor problems. It took a while to get most done due to manpower shortages and covid (still waiting on electrician) but we love the workmanship and design of our new home! The neighborhood is also awesome! ... More

just be detailed on a particular home you want. The design, check every angle of your rooms, finishes, up & down, etc.

Due to the workmanship and materials for my new home, I will not recommend others to build house with HighlandHome.

Make sure everything is 100% completed prior to close it’s not 2 months and items that should have been done before closing still isn’t . My banisters are still wet with paint and a lot of paint things wasn’t done that we pointed out. Now being in the home certain things with my layout is really irritating ex. Bathroom toilet room. I really wanted this to be my forever home

We are very happy building our first home with Highland Homes. They went above and beyond to ensure everything is addressed and kept us updated through out the progress. Would definitely recommend Highland Homes!!!

New house took 15 months to finish. you could say it's normal due to supply chain issue, but then some houses on same street/same builder got finished under 10 months, so not sure what to say. Issues started out from foundation phase, you need watch like a hawk on every step and ask to be corrected, if you dont live nearby, good luck! Not a single time you were contacted and updated about progress, you always had to ask. Lots of quality issues, but so far they were all medium to minor ones, so something you can live by. But no way it was pleasant experience.

The highland team was wonderful - given the circumstances we were dealing with around material delays and labor shortages. Everyone was very communicative and empathetic.

Too many issues to write about. We definitely wouldn’t choose Highland Homes again.
