Edna was absolutely amazing from start to finish, we adore her. Our builder Lonnie, worked tirelessly to get things done despite the shortages of both materials and workers post pandemic. We are really happy with our overall build process. Would highly recommend!!!

Entire Team worked together and communicate well. Makes process easier. They make the Client feel like a priority and not just an address.

This is our second build and first time with Highland Homes. Very impressed with the whole process from start to finish. From sales to after- closing service, they have been very accommodating, responsive, and professional. They have built us a beautiful home.

i dont think there is a square wall in this house. We previously had a home custom built and buying from a big box builder has lived up to their build fast and not accurate reputation. the sheetrock is crumbly, the paint falls off the wall if you touch it, the door paint has runs in it. We've had the electrician out three times. The person that we contact if something is wrong, has been fabulous. It's just when you pay close to half a million dollars for a home, you expect it to be top notch not sloppy.

Been here for two months and still have issues that’s been addressed - but nothing done! Very disappointed!!!!

The loan process was very smooth and easy.

Buying a home can be stressful. Highland Homes walked us through the entire process and it could not have been easier. We initially went with another lender but switched to Highland Home Loans because of their customer service. Friendly, kind, patient, and willing to help anytime. Would highly recommend!

This was our second Highland Home and the fit and finishes inside where not done as well as our previous home. We were not allowed to change much of anything in reference to colors and options. There was also a lot of trim and paint problems such as doors and drawers not fitting and closing as they should and fitting was off in numerous places. You expect better quality for the price point.

The Highland quality of materials and the responsiveness to any questions were second to none. We also had a great experience working with our builder Justin. We built several houses and none compare to our new Highland home. I have even convinced my parents to buy a Highland Home.

Over the home is good not great as far as price. It was just the experience dealing with some individuals that makes you think? Did I make the best decision for myself and family. I know the builder responsibilities are to stick to schedule. Get the house built on time. In some case there was rushed. It stood out once I brought things to there Attention with concerns it was just about written off or down played. If I being honest , on a positive note please READ everything and acknowledge things so you don't have to fight with them about it later. If could I go back to adjust the most common things that's never on your top list I definitely wouldn't let it slip through the cracks. Be aware you might tell the builder one thing especially something your paying for. Hay can you make sure this is done this way or that way. To later found out they totally disregard your requests and say. I went with the plans after having numerous conversations and meeting felt disrespectful as the buyer. Gateway community Forney Texas. Disappointed in the quality downgrading from previous Highland Homes experience in Dallas. Trim work and interior paint is not up to standard and materials chosen by the builder for flooring, windows, etc. are the lowest possible quality.

to resolve issues it take a decade.. i have bought my home in July.. and still there are things that needs to be completed. the labor used is not very good by this company. they are not very detail oriented.

Whole experience was excellent. Dolly and Helen were very easy and enjoyable to work with on the sales process and Victor is truly outstanding a a Project Manager. There are always going to be issues that pop up, and how the team handled those made the difference between a good and a great experience. Quality of the home is top notch!

Will preface by saying we bought in the pandemic boom and have calmed my anger according to the understanding of the strange times. This being said the fit and finish of the home leaves lots to be desired. Getting repairs done is not easy at all and am still waiting for almost all of it. There’s one point of contact and he is totally overwhelmed. Structurally it seems like a great build but time will tell. The sales staff was nice enough through that process.

Her level of knowledge, professionalism and experience made the whole process of buying our new home a breeze. There was no stress, only excitement as move-in day approached. She was quick to answer our questions at any point and address any and all concerns we had. She was not only caring and charismatic, but guided us through the process with unmatched Texas hospitality and courtesy. Everything was on time despite many current shortages and her along with the project manager, delivered an amazing home that will be a haven for our family for many years to come. Attention to detail was given in every aspect of the home and the project manager was always available to answer any questions and fix any issues, including after closing. We can tell that quality is at the top of Highlands priorities and in a market with so many builders, they really set themselves apart from the others. The attentiveness to our project and communication was outstanding.

We are very happy with our decision to use Highland Home as our builder. From the very beginning, the entire process went very smooth. Tyler and Kirk are great construction managers! I feel we got a great value for our home and we are extremely happy with Highland Homes!

Overall are good, Highland needs to manage all the sub- contracts that used on the project. Some of sub-contracts did not keep the appointments or they showed up later without any notifications to the owner. It took too long to fix or solve an issue.

Plain wonderful and thoughtful, no questionable factors whatsoever.

This was our first home building experience and I'll be hard-pressed to use another builder in the future. The Highland team was with us every step of the way, doing what they could to make our dream home a reality.
