Our family had an incredible experience with Highland Homes. From contract negotiations with our Broker and the Sales Team to the day to day construction of the home, everything was better than expected. Having been a custom home builder in Los Angeles and Denver for over 35 years, I was amazed to see quality items put into our home as a standard where other builders have an upcharge. The attention to detail and customer follow thru by the construction staff made life a whole lot easier. Based on our experience, we would definitely recommend Highland Homes to other buyers.

on your walk through "BEFORE" closing make sure everything is looked at even molding and seams on the wall. Check EVERYTHING and document it and have it done if possible before you close.

I purchased this HH home at the finished stage. The buying, closing and move in processes were smooth. The build quality looks good. Interior details were a bit sloppy. The appliances were “builder grade”. Jason, our project manager was responsive and took care of most issues, though he seemed to have lost steam after a while. :-) All in all a positive experience.

Experience was great from sales to builder meetings. Highland puts out a quality product, I would recommend them to anyone and would purchase another Highland home in the future.

They have multiple floor plans to meet your family's needs.

Brittany and Cody were exceptional representatives. We appreciate all the little details they made sure were taken care of.

Meets code, but certainly doesn't exceed. Low quality fixtures and paint. Very nice friendly folks

Beautiful well built home. Very energy efficient as well.

-Lack of updates/ inaccurate and incorrect updates throughout the entire home building experience. -Constant follow-ups to inform the builder of the inaccuracies provided. -Treated disrespectfully and blown off. -Pointed out several issues prior to move-in that I was assured would be taken care of. (They weren’t when I moved in and I received no communications. I had to escalate and inform the necessary individuals of what the issues were and escalations continue.) -Issues with the AC leaking and a Gas Leak happened during first few weeks of move in. -Continued issues outstanding to date and the amount of follow-up/time spent on issues that should have been done correctly is mind boggling. -Many individuals within the same neighborhood have the same exact experiences and concerns -Horrible workmanship with no one double checking that things were done correctly. -Issues included on inspection report prior to move -in weren’t taken care of before I moved in. These remain outstanding. -Continue to find items that have failed to be done correctly regularly. Face value, it is a beautiful home. However, when you do your due diligence you find that the workmanship and information you have been provided fails to be accurate. Overall, we love our house!

Everyone has been helpful & kind throughout the process.

Since moving in, I have had issues with electrical components such as the dryer outlet and breakers. I have submitted multiple requests to apply my warranty on these issues, but I have not received assistance. This has not been an enjoyable experience.

Great customer service!! This is their greatest quality that Highland Homes have achieved. They are always willing to fix any and all genuine issues that may occur. Overall home design and quality is very good.

Worst buying experience ever. Many many issues with the house once we moved in. Plenty of excuses, broken breaker, air condition was hooked up wrong, drier connector was broken. Maintenance men didn’t show up twice on two separate occasions. Just a mess

We truly love our horne and appreciate everyone at Highland Homes who worked with us every step of the way; from the mortgage loan team to our construction foreman, Keith T, who went above and beyond to make sure our house was up to standard and worked with us constantly to ensure we were happy with all the minor updates and repairs that our house needed. We would definitely recommend Highland Homes for anyone looking to purchase a house to grow your family in.

Very beautiful place family orientated

Great experience with Highland Homes. We bought a pre-built home that was unsold for whatever reason. Dorothy was wonderful and answered all of our questions - even the nitty gritty HOA questions. We had a few minor issues when we first moved in and all were reconciled and addressed very quickly by Chris and team - couldn't have asked for a better response. This is the 3rd new construction home we've bough (Mungo, Ryan, and Highland) - this is by far the best. Definitely recommend Highland Homes

The subcontractors were abysmal. The sheetrock seams are horrible. The "finish" work on the trim looks like a child put it in. The concrete in the driveway, garage and patio are pitted, gouged, and have boot prints in them. As I write this, the master closet ceiling and upstairs bathroom vanity are torn out as water is leaking through the ceiling. The absence of professionalism even extended to unhuman behavior such as urinating in the shower to the point where the smell prevented us from going into the house, and there was even feces rubbed on the painted wall in the bedroom upstairs. I cannot stress enough how shocked, disgusted and disappointed we are in Highland and this house. ... More

Building a home with Highland Homes was such an enjoyable experience! Their customer service is top-notch, and better than we could have ever anticipated! They were committed to excellence at every step. What is most impressive is that even after closing, when we noticed minor blemishes or issues with the house (having lived in it), they maintain their level of responsiveness and excellence. We give Highland Homes our highest recommendation, and we sing their praises every chance we get when talking with others who are considering building a new home.
