I purchased a home that was part of the inventory so I didn't get to pick the various finishes or work with the team over the course of several months, but I felt like everyone went above an beyond to help get me settled. I was especially impressed with the team's help and follow up as various events occurred after purchase, like an ice storm and locking myself out of my vehicle. In a day in age where a lot of purchasing feels transactional and impersonal, I'm so grateful for that Highland Homes treats its customers like real people.

The team was professional throughout the process, responsive to our questions and helped to walk us through our first time building a home. We appreciated their expertise and are very happy with our home.

Heather was fantastic and put me at ease. I had a lot of questions and she knew everything. I have a serious finance background and she covered all of my questions with confidence that comes from experience. I was comfortable driving over from San Antonio and putting the house under contract in less than thirty minutes. Heather is a huge asset to the organization.

From our sales rep Jessica to our construction manager Adam, we had a great time communicating with everyone involved at Highland Homes for our home buying process. They have been very patient, respectful, accomodating and helpful in the utmost way possible.

Initial contact was with Christi in sales. She was super helpful and so easy to work with. We continued to work with her till the house was handed off. There are so many ideas that she helped with. D'Marco was the construction project manager assigned. He addressed every single issue that was raised during construction to our satisfaction. We really enjoyed interacting with him but most importantly knew that every update was being held to a high standard with built-in quality checks. Overall we are very happy with Highland homes. We purchased our Highland Home sight unseen, and from day one we were lucky enough to work with our construction manager, Lane. For months, all of our communication was over email, and he consistently impressed us. His responses were always incredibly in-depth, clear, and timely. He went above and beyond in problem-solving, and even with some last-minute changes, he remained patient, accommodating, and solutions-oriented. When we finally met him in person, I was genuinely shocked—based on his level of knowledge, professionalism, and communication skills, I assumed he had at least 30 years of experience. He’s that good. Highland is truly lucky to have him. I also want to give the biggest thank-you to Renee. Lane and Renee were the absolute dream team. From the moment we were connected, she made the design and selection process effortless. My wife and I have built 7 homes, prior to this working with Highland. Renee, our Sales Counselor and Hunter, our Construction Manager made the purchasing, construction and Move-in experience the best we have ever had. During the construction, we would stop by the sales model and the sales team would were very gracious with their time as we were deciding feature details and decorating ideas. Also, during this time, we would drop by the construction site to see progress. Hunter, would go out of his way to stop by and say "hello" whenever he say us. Both Renee and Hunter did an excellent job of communicating status and progress on our home. The Highland team had a well documented phase process which set expectations for us. This process was instrumental in delivering a quality home on the scheduled they committed. Both Renee and Hunter were responsive to our change requests, while still staying on schedule. Hunter was very responsive to questions/concerns raised during and even pointed out a couple items we failed to identify during the selection process (kitchen accent wall, kitchen beams and 2nd bedroom bath frameless shower). Hunter offered to add at no charge nice features like 1) curtain rod bracing, 2) garage attic decking and 3) reduction in use of media room glue and tack strips (we /owner planned to remove this carpet and install rubber flooring for a gym). Whenever their was ambiguity on whether a feature was included, Highland "owned it" and provided the feature at no additional charge. To summarize, my wife and I had an excellent experience working with the Highland team. Building a new home is always stressful. From the beginning to the very end and everything in between our journey in this process was amazing. We had a great experience working with Lane (Construction Manager) and Lula (Sales Counselor). They made our process building feel comfortable and seamless. This is not our first time building but first with Highland and would build again in a heartbeat if it was Lane leading the build. He was very trustworthy and honest with everything that was going on with our build. That goes a long way when you're trusting someone to build your dream home! However, what truly sealed the deal was how amazing Avery & Whitaker were, accommodating our every requests. They were like hospitality executives anticipating our needs at every turn, before, during and even after closing. I am very happy with my Highland home build. This is my third home to purchase, but my first one with Highland. Previous to this Home I had a custom build on acreage. In comparison, I am extremely satisfied with the craftsmanship of this home and honestly, the personal attention received from the Highland team!
