a lot of care goes into the craftsmanship of the Highland home we purchased. when there were problems, they were addressed. no questions asked. they explained everything we needed to know.

This is to be our final home to retire in and it was important that it was built the way we wanted it and with quality. So glad we chose Highland! Everyone on their team has been fantastic from beginning to end. Avery Turek was an awesome salesperson. She saw our vision of what we wanted and worked hard to get us what we needed. Once building, Whitaker took over and took us through to the end. Sure there were bumps in the road along the way but Highland always stepped in and made things right. The experience of purchasing home from Highland home are great and smooth. The builder response quick to our questions and need. Though we found some issues before/after the moving-in, they all get quickly resolved by the builder.

I have built multiple homes with multiple builders. From the very beginning of this process, I have nothing but good things to say about Highland Homes! I had the best experience planning the right floor plan for the lot I chose with my sales contact, Andrew and my builder Kel has taken care of me every step of the way. Process was seamless from sales of lot, internal design and upgrades.

There were some issues after closing but all were addressed within first 45 days.

Overall a great experience. My biggest issue are the following; 1. The amount I paid for my home and the space .. houses are just so close to each other. Literally the home behind me is in my backyard… I can’t even have privacy. I paid way too much money to not have some sort of privacy. I know that on me as well because I should have pick a home that didn’t have the neighbors in the backyard. Ridiculous for the price though. 2. Workmanship- for the most part ok but ton of area that have paint issues (not enough coats of paint), damage to doors (scuffs, paint drips) and under the sick multiple holes in the wood where it seems like someone was confused where the hole needed to be. Put a new piece instead of leaving that messed up piece there. I spent too much money on this home for it not to to have detailed oriented work done. We had a great sales experience, the sales team has been excellent with responding to queries, addressing our concerns etc. Special call out to Lula who has been excellent to work with. Mixed experience with the construction team. Since we were remote, we didn't had the opportunity to continuously monitor the home. We weren't getting regular (weekly) updates on home construction as promised. During final inspection, we found several issues which were addressed promptly, except a few which were missed and we found them out after moving into the home. We were asked to raise home warranty case, which we did along with a bunch of other issues we found after living in the house. Warranty team has been responsive, but the speed of resolution is not up to mark. It has been more than a month since we moved in, still dealing with unfixed issues with the builder. ... More

Through and through a great experience with Highland homes. The sales staff to construction manager to escrow agent and loan officer were all top notch. Thank you to Erin (sales), Jeremy, Preston (construction), and Matt (loan) for facilitating the process and making the move seamless.

The whole experience has been great.

Great work during tough times. Some things were delayed but that’s completely understandable.co-operative on certain ask and satisfied on overall completion.

I love my home. The total experience was great. Never had a new home built, went better than I thought.

This company is very busy which means that they often don’t have time to address issues you may have with your home. This can be frustrating. There are some areas in my home where the finish work such as the painting is subpar and sloppy. I am waiting for issues with getting the right paint to correct itself, so that I can fix these flaws myself

Great experience during the whole construction project. I wish I could be informed more when the people were working on the house, that way I could see any things that wasn’t done properly.

From my first visit to the lovely model and working with a great sales counselor through each phase of the building process, I was pleased with the journey. There were several wonderful floorplans to choose from and I am delighted with the one I chose. The amenities included, as well as the quality of workmanship is excellent. I am proud to be a Highland Homes homeowner.
