Highland homes overall construction is better than many builders but the experience we had was not the best. Cannot trust - they did not allow same garage door color for us since 2 houses from us had same color but allowed exact same floor plan as us next door ! And not only that this next door and their next door has same garage color and same white painted brick ! We had to struggle to get things right during construction process. Post closing also noticing that last minute stuff was all done like patches.

The best I can say

Our entire Highland team — everyone from the sales folks facilitating and communicating our design choices, to our stellar construction manager making sure our voice was heard, did an excellent job of delivering a quality home. They did a great job of setting expectations for build timelines and communicated us with throughout the entire process. Ultimately, we are very happy with our new home and continue to appreciate the care and attention they’re giving us to make sure things are going well.

The experience of purchasing home from Highland home are great and smooth. The builder response quick to our questions and need. Though we found some issues before/after the moving-in, they all get quickly resolved by the builder.

I have built multiple homes with multiple builders. From the very beginning of this process, I have nothing but good things to say about Highland Homes! I had the best experience planning the right floor plan for the lot I chose with my sales contact, Andrew and my builder Kel has taken care of me every step of the way. This is our 2nd highland home. Both our builder and community manger were awesome. They helped much with all my change requests and really got us the home we wanted. I would have asked for various changes way after contract signing and all these changes were accommodated. Ever after closing, my builder was very helpful in taking care of fixes that home required. Great team and service; very honest and trustworthy.

Highland homes used cheap third party companies to do their work like plumbing etc. it’s all lazy work and we found many issues after we moved into the new house. They didnot fix any issues that we have raised . They just say yes to your request and will not implement them later. Totally waste of money and we are extremely disappointed with the purchase. Please stay away from highland homes even when you are getting a better price because you will have to pay for repairs due to cheap quality

The quality of highland home was not good.The lumber material is very cheap compare to low quality builders.The communication towards customer is not good.Sales representative Amy is good at Parkside on the river.But don’t recommend the highland since the quality of wood for framing is not good and also restroom doors.Highland lost its quality.There is one more firm highland homes loans which is company owned lender, One of the worst company to take mortgage loan.I don’t recommend to go with hh loans.

From signing the initial paperwork to closing, the entire process went smooth. Larry, Arianna and Kel were the utmost professionals. All questions were answered quickly and the quality of my new home exceeded my expectations. I have built 3 homes with various builders and would rate Highland at the top of the list.

Too many issues not built for durability. Lots of issues with sheet rock finish, trim finish, leve 1 quartz had finish issues, door handles keeps poping out, concrete finish is sub par. Overall thry just using the brand and contractors they used to built homes is not doing good job

I am so impressed with Highland Homes, and could not be any happier with the entire experience! Gracie, Matthew, Crickett & Clint were all fantastic to work with. I appreciate how helpful and responsive they were throughout the process. We are in love with our Highland Home!! Thank you : )

The overall process with highland homes was great! Highly Recommend.

The new home is not only beautiful, but the quality of the workmanship is outstanding. Our construction manager Luke was very professional and attentive.

I am not totally happy with the construction process which has too many flaws. People who worked on the home are not skilled and that is bad.

Process was seamless from sales of lot, internal design and upgrades.

Renee, our sales rep, Javier & Matt, our PMs, and Lane, our warranty specialist, all contributed to an outstanding buyer/build experience and aftercare service. This is a testament of the quality Highland Homes strives to achieve and the professionalism exhibited by my dream team!

From the start the sales office and project manager had stayed in CONSTANT communication with us for the entire process start to finish of our beautiful home. Anything we had concerns or questions on they always took the time to talk with us even after hours and responded right away. I’d check on the home every day and see the project managers out there and he would always take the time to talk and see if I had any questions on anything. They made it an easy and fun process and the home itself is everything we wanted. Amazing quality and detail.

Avery, Andrew, and Whitaker are great! They are focused on the details and helping with any concerns that come up when buying a home! They are always communicative and helpful!

We needed to find a house as we had sold our house in Dallas and were moving to Austin to be near our children and grandchildren. So we had to take what was offered us. With the exception of getting solid core doors, we were not allowed to request any upgrades or modifications. The house is acceptable but not our dream home. We are thinking about purchasing a lot in Parten for Highland Homes to build on. Your floor plan is very nice, and we love the single story versus 2 levels. However, there are several minor upgrades and re-design that we would love to incorporate. My brother is a custom home builder so we were spoiled. Highland Homes is a good value for the money. ... I will strongly recommend Highland Homes! The entire team is awesome! Starting from the Sales counselor to construction manager, everyone acted as one single team to ensure our new home delivered beautifully with best quality. Their time commitment is remarkable. When it comes design, changes, and opinions, they stood close to us to guide and bring the best value for our money. Finally they finished the house before their committed timeline. Highland homes stand beautiful with quality which makes us feel proud!

There were some issues after closing but all were addressed within first 45 days.

We love our dream home. Andrew and Avery at 6 Creeks in Kyle did an amazing job. They kept us in the loop and were so responsive to our questions and needs. Even after the purchase they have been a phone call or text away and will assist without hesitation. You don’t typically see that after the check has been signed.

Overall a great experience. My biggest issue are the following; 1. The amount I paid for my home and the space .. houses are just so close to each other. Literally the home behind me is in my backyard… I can’t even have privacy. I paid way too much money to not have some sort of privacy. I know that on me as well because I should have pick a home that didn’t have the neighbors in the backyard. Ridiculous for the price though. 2. Workmanship- for the most part ok but ton of area that have paint issues (not enough coats of paint), damage to doors (scuffs, paint drips) and under the sick multiple holes in the wood where it seems like someone was confused where the hole needed to be. Put a new piece instead of leaving that messed up piece there. I spent too much money on this home for it not to to have detailed oriented work done.
