Highland is a good home builder. They do care about taking care of you after you close your house with them. Home building takes time and fluidity, be patient it’s worth it.

The beginning process was so exciting. Everyone that helped us with highland was informative and kind. We had a few delays on windows and the brick for the home which extended our closing 2 months. That is something you just have to be flexible with when building a new home. Only complaint, the items we wanted fixed before closing seemed to not be handled with care. The workmanship seemed to be sloppy. For example where a the bottom of the floor/wall buckled that was fixed in closing day. Well who ever fixed left paint and caulk on the wood planking and it was not smooth. That’s just one example. I put in warranty ticket for the minor things we found again which is common. Lonnie was awesome and timely. I've been very happy with the inside of the home. Landscaping/outdoor experience hasn't been great. The outside landscaping etc seems like it was hastily done.

We had a great experience working with Highland Homes from our first meeting with the sales team, to follow meetings with sales/design/construction, to the day we moved in. We had very few issues during the process or since we've moved in. My only complaint and why I gave only 3 stars on "Responsiveness to issues" is that since have have moved in, we have had a very hard time getting the maintenance/construction team to respond to tickets we've had open for weeks. I believe their team is overwhelmed, and do not expect it to improve as they are starting to break ground on the next phase behind our home. ... More

It is a great neighborhood

This was our second time building a new home. First was with a custom home builder and second was with Highland. We had a far superior experience with Highland. Aleasha and Michael were both wonderful to work with and helped with all questions and requests along the way. We would build again with Highland if the time ever arose. Thank you!!

Great experience worked great with sales person and construction manager

We were fortunate enough after living in a hotel and search for homes and multiple offers to stumble across Jessica. It was the perfect storm meets the solution and she was excellent

We had a little pause at the beginning of the pandemic. They work with our fears and allowed us to make changes to better meet or needs.

The Highland team was great. We were having difficulty selling our home and could not get into our Highland home until it sold. Unfortunately, we had a very negative experience with a realtor, which greatly contributed to this issue. Highland was very understanding and flexible with allowing us additional time to get a new realtor and we were able to sell our home! As far as the builder goes, Garrett was awesome! He provided excellent communication by sending a weekly progress report on the progress of the home and promptly follow-up on any questions or concerns we had.

I had a great experience with the builder! This is my first home and all I can say is that I’m very pleased for my experience.

Being a 1st time homeowner can be scary and exciting, but for the 1st home to be new construction brings another level of anxiety and excitement. However, Highland Homes made this experience so enjoyable. From the sales to the design to the construction, every team was very open to any and every question we had. The communication was excellent and even during the pandemic we never experienced a delay. They stayed ahead of the curve which is needed in this process. Look no further, Highland is the BEST!!!
