we love our new Highland Home.

The home buying process was easy from the initial contact, to making our interior choices. Once construction began, we were updated weekly on the progress and when issues arose around supply chain issues, we were kept well informed. It never felt like things would be rushed just to get the house done. We are very pleased with the quality of the construction and any after-closing issues have been minimal and handled timely.

Best team to choose if you want someone to care about your home as much as you do!

We bought several Highland homes before this one and the experience was and still Fantastic. The experience with this home doesn’t feel like you can brand this home as a Highland home . NO WAY . The sad part , everyone blame Coronavirus . This doesn’t justify poor workmanship and poor customer service . It simply doesn’t feel like Highland Brand .

The sales experience was wonderful with Todd. He made everything as smooth as possible and was very accommodating. Our build experience, however, was stressful many times, Our first contractor, John, was very nice and professional but there were many hangups in what we asked for vs. what we got, mainly with countertops and my daughter's closet. We were given a new contractor. Garrett, to date, has followed through on everything we asked of. Unfortunately, we've noticed so many oversights since we've moved in, so the quality workmanship, has left a bad taste in our mouth. The project was not completed by our closing date, so after move in, we still had workers in our home, There's been some items that have had to be repaired multiple times to meet our satisfaction. Again, nothing on Garrett....he's been very professional and courteous. We just feel like, for the price we paid, we should have received top notch service from the beginning to end. After owning a Highland home ten years ago and having an incredible experience, we were excited to build another Highland after moving back to Texas. Unfortunately we encountered a nightmare with being assigned multiple builders, mistake upon mistake with workmanship and materials, and having to get upper management involved to actually get our build finished. I know it’s a tough market now, but I would not buy a Highland home again.

We loved the house, and Daniel was great to work with, and made this process very easy and straight-forward. The only issue I have with it is that the finish out was not the greatest, there were some of out doors that appear to have been hastily painted, paint chipped off of some of the walls, etc. All of that was pretty minor though, and the overall experience e was about as good as one could've hoped for in building a house.

I moved in October of 2021 it’s now end of January 2022 and my issues are still not being addressed.

Highland Homes was very responsive to my questions during the building process. Very good builder and my home had no issues when I moved in. Highly recommend using Highland Homes.

Our construction project manager was wonderful and worked closely with our realtor. It was unbelievable with what’s going on in the world, but he delivered the project on time. Amazing. Build materials are decent quality - above average - but not what we are used to coming from a DiVosta home in Florida. The windows are the most noticeable difference. They are lower quality and the frames around them are slightly off. Not our PM’s fault by any means. Thank you - we would choose highland homes again!

Staff is very friendly and helpful but also professional Dustin - our builder - went above and beyond in completing and delivering our home to us

When we went to the model home to see the assorted options for what was standard and what was an upgrade, we were told granite on the countertops and island was a standard feature. What we got was quarts. I did not like the quality of the building material, nor the workmanship. When inquiring about the quality of the material, we were told it was standard quality material. My thoughts are just because something is standard for the industry; it should not mean it is also the standards for Highland Homes. Prior to closing, our home was supposed to be cleaned; it was not. However, I must say every time we reached out to the builder/project manager he answered every call. Overall, I think the value for the price I paid versus the final product is overvalued. ... More

Highland Homes worked with me to create the home I envisioned myself living in for many years. Not everything was perfect the first time around, but they really stepped up and made everything perfect in the end. So happy with this purchase and with the Highland Homes team that made it all come together!

Hello- Our sales associates for the house build and the front office were top notch and still are. High quality folks. They have been terrific. I even wrote a email raving about them. Our home closed three plus months ago and we still cannot get some of the items fixed that have been on the closing documents. Many things have been addressed but we are not complete. Lots of reasons why, but we have paid in full for the house being completed and have been very patient for what seems like a long time.

Design experience was excellent, with great communication and assistance with selection of elevation, brick, flooring, and options. Great assistance with electrical/switches/outlet design by construction manager. The construction manager also did a great job keeping us up to date on progress, including frequent pictures and timelines for next steps. We had delays and selection problems due to supply chain and supplier issues with brick and flooring, so we had no choice but to reselect both several times and ended up with not getting our first, second, or even third choices. But once built, Highland was pretty responsive early on to correct the very few minor problems. It took a while to get most done due to manpower shortages and covid (still waiting on electrician) but we love the workmanship and design of our new home! The neighborhood is also awesome! ... More

I was very happy with the transaction.

Make sure everything is 100% completed prior to close it’s not 2 months and items that should have been done before closing still isn’t . My banisters are still wet with paint and a lot of paint things wasn’t done that we pointed out. Now being in the home certain things with my layout is really irritating ex. Bathroom toilet room. I really wanted this to be my forever home

The highland team was wonderful - given the circumstances we were dealing with around material delays and labor shortages. Everyone was very communicative and empathetic.

We have gotten quick responses and solutions to our few issues post closing.

The financing. Amy was amazing. She made everything very fluid. Would work with her again The builder Chris has been wonderful, working with us on every issue after sale. Also, Tanner, the warranty contact contact is always available for us. Great experience.

They kept us up to date during the whole building process (during covid) regarding shortages and delays. We were living out of town and they were very helpful and quick to respond when we had questions. Our construction manager sent periodic updates and pictures as well; she was extremely knowledgable about every question we had and every little detail. We would definitel buy from High;and Homes again.

Highland Homes team from the original review meeting with the sales staff to the design and construction team - they were all highly professional. And, their watchword is "do whatever it takes to make it right"!! They follow that guidance throughout the entire process, from start to finish and even afterwards. Highly recommend to anyone including my best friends and family.
