From the day we signed the contract with Highland Homes, our experience with them was honest, sincere and ultimately, a pleasure. They responded quickly, they were helpful and always friendly, they were easy to deal with and allowed us to be a part of the entire process. From the salesman, to the design team, to the builder, to the closing, it all went very well. In fact, when it was all over, we sent everyone a Cheescake.

We love our new home and would recommend Highland to any new owner.

Cabinet person had and awful disrespectful attitude

The salesperson (Jennifer) was outstanding throughout the entire process. She has continued to assist us during required follow up and issues that needed to be addressed. We had the typical issues that needed follow up and Chris has been great during the process of addressing any issues that required follow up by the builder. Our overall impression with Highland Homes is that they build a quality house and stand behind their product.

From my first contact with the sales team, to post closing the Highland team has been courteous, always helpful and very important - available whenever I had a question or concern. Special kudos to Kathi in sales and Dustin in construction. Extremely pleased with the quality of materials and construction.

We built with Highland because of their good reputation. We have had way too many issues. We have been residing in this home for about 2 months and we have had contractors here on multiple days for almost every week.

The seller and builder were top knotch! Very informative and invested in a successful house purchase for me and my 1st house. The house is beautiful and hit EVERY thing I wanted/needed with features I wasn't expecting.. Highly recommend

Todd, Ivonne, and Blake all worked together to make our home buying experience very easy and enjoyable. They were all there to provide support during the buying experience and then construction. Blake was always easy to work with and professional. He was easy to reach and was excellent at problem solving. He was one of the best I’ve dealt with in the 12 houses that we’ve built. Robert, has done a great job of taking care of the small warranty items after close. Reachable and professional and takes care of business. Overall we are very happy with the sales and construction of our new home.

Had to battle to get boulders installed for over a month because the contractors were running over my yard weekly. Home pro installed the clare smart system that hasn't worked right in the 3 months I have lived here. They are currently scheduled to come out for the 3rd time. If they cant fix it this time I'm at the point of asking for it be removed and to be reimbursed. A lot of small things that if done right the first time I wouldn't of had to spend my time off/while working making calls, scheduling, or waiting around for contractors to no show to get this or that fixed. Our house has had a large amount of issues during the building stage. We’ve mentioned them and some we were told they’d get fixed but never did. Now I’m dealing with a vinyl floor that is completely coming off.

Beware, if you get a deal when it comes to pricing. They will treat you like your dud something wrong it 12 months for my house was ready for move in and its still not complete

The build process went very smoothly especially given that I was out-of-state and only able to visit a couple of times. I think that this was largely due to the sales counsellor, designer and construction manager. The sales counselor in particular was always reachable and responsive to requests for information, offering suggestions, and discussing/implementing changes. Mine was a Spec house and I am very happy with the designer's choices of those details that I would otherwise have had to make. Overall, the workmanship and materials are excellent - any reservations I have are pretty inconsequential. Overall a good experience despite the delays in materials. Not Highlands fault. Dealing with the design center was a bit of a cluster. Overall , would build with Highland again

Lesli, Seth and Michael took care of us every step of the way. My husband and I wanted lots of "extras" so they even shared ways to make our home more spectacular. I would do all again with this group of people. Thanks for hiring such a wonderful team!

Highland uses all the spaces in your home. Extra closets and storage are everywhere in this home.

We built during the pandemic. When most builders were taking shortcuts, 12+ months to build and changing contracts, Highland Homes stayed consistent with their original promise to the best of their ability. They also had great upgrades and options to choose from that made our house really stand out from others in the community. We feel like we got a quality home vs. a cookie cutter one. The only downside to our process was the lack of communication from our project manager, which required numerous escalations just to find out what was going on with our home. We love our house, lots of space, great layout, materials are excellent. However, we all say that the little things are the ones that matter. It is really hard to get Highland homes team to respond to an issue. Lots of excuses when it comes to follow up and communication is broken with the construction team. All we need as a customer is someone to follow up and highland homes team fails tremendously on that.

The actual buying, and designing was pretty good. The build process was an absolute nightmare; builder communication was horrible if it occurred at all. The issue was not a lack of materials, it was over sights of the design of the home, not following the blue prints. Over all I would not recommend Highland, if I had to do it again I would of chosen a different builder.

Julio managed our home's build and did an excellent job. He is quick to respond and truly cares about the homeowner's experience. He made everything incredibly easy and it still taking care of minor items we request help with even months after moving in. Julio alone has made us highly recommend Highland Homes to others and will make us a repeat customer for our next home in the future. Thank you Julio!
