i dont think there is a square wall in this house. We previously had a home custom built and buying from a big box builder has lived up to their build fast and not accurate reputation. the sheetrock is crumbly, the paint falls off the wall if you touch it, the door paint has runs in it. We've had the electrician out three times. The person that we contact if something is wrong, has been fabulous. It's just when you pay close to half a million dollars for a home, you expect it to be top notch not sloppy.

Buying a home can be stressful. Highland Homes walked us through the entire process and it could not have been easier. We initially went with another lender but switched to Highland Home Loans because of their customer service. Friendly, kind, patient, and willing to help anytime. Would highly recommend!

The Highland quality of materials and the responsiveness to any questions were second to none. We also had a great experience working with our builder Justin. We built several houses and none compare to our new Highland home. I have even convinced my parents to buy a Highland Home.

Over the home is good not great as far as price. It was just the experience dealing with some individuals that makes you think? Did I make the best decision for myself and family. I know the builder responsibilities are to stick to schedule. Get the house built on time. In some case there was rushed. It stood out once I brought things to there Attention with concerns it was just about written off or down played. If I being honest , on a positive note please READ everything and acknowledge things so you don't have to fight with them about it later. If could I go back to adjust the most common things that's never on your top list I definitely wouldn't let it slip through the cracks. Be aware you might tell the builder one thing especially something your paying for. Hay can you make sure this is done this way or that way. Whole experience was excellent. Dolly and Helen were very easy and enjoyable to work with on the sales process and Victor is truly outstanding a a Project Manager. There are always going to be issues that pop up, and how the team handled those made the difference between a good and a great experience. Quality of the home is top notch!

Will preface by saying we bought in the pandemic boom and have calmed my anger according to the understanding of the strange times. This being said the fit and finish of the home leaves lots to be desired. Getting repairs done is not easy at all and am still waiting for almost all of it. There’s one point of contact and he is totally overwhelmed. Structurally it seems like a great build but time will tell. The sales staff was nice enough through that process.

She was quick to answer our questions at any point and address any and all concerns we had. The attentiveness to our project and communication was outstanding.

We are very happy with our decision to use Highland Home as our builder. From the very beginning, the entire process went very smooth. Tyler and Kirk are great construction managers! I feel we got a great value for our home and we are extremely happy with Highland Homes!

Overall are good, Highland needs to manage all the sub- contracts that used on the project. Some of sub-contracts did not keep the appointments or they showed up later without any notifications to the owner. It took too long to fix or solve an issue.

Plain wonderful and thoughtful, no questionable factors whatsoever.

This was our first home building experience and I'll be hard-pressed to use another builder in the future. The Highland team was with us every step of the way, doing what they could to make our dream home a reality.

The whole process from start to finish with Highland was amazing. Our builder Josh, our on-site Beau and his assistant Jenni were extremely helpful. Our home turned out beautiful and we are so grateful for Highland Homes.

Highland just builds high quality homes. The staff is also extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Our neighbors bought from a different builder and the differences in quality between our house and their house is very noticeable. We highly recommend Highland!

Sales personnel were always helpful and friendly. Reece who oversees the work on our house is very responsive and always very helpful. He pays close attention to details. We know we can count on him to ensure that we have a great home. He is a asset to this company.

Our construction manager Cameron was absolutely amazing! He kept us informed every step of the way. We never missed a beat with the phases. In fact, he called us weekly just to check in. Our process was amazing and very satisfying. We definitely recommend Highland Homes! Oh and we love our upgrades!

From the sales people to the construction manager, they kept me updated regularly and corrected issues at their cost and have not stopped supporting me and the house issues well after the close. I have had compliments from contractors and visitors concerning the construction, HVAC, appliances, quality of standard items, etc. I am very pleased that I selected Highlands.

This is our third new home buying experience and overall it was not a great one. We had a closing date that was moved, we a an fairly significant closing addendum for items that were still not finished at the time of our new closing date. We are still working on getting a few of those items done almost two months after close. The home itself is beautiful, but there is some question about the quality of the build and what we cannot see or what may come up in the future.

Good floor plans, high ceilings, great cost

Highland's system to keep track of changes is antiquated and makes it very difficult to keep track of things. It's so bad that even the builder themselves miss things that you order and/or changes you make. It took Highland over two months to give me a final price on our home. Highland has some really great floorplans and they use the square footage well. However, the fit and finish is very poor. Every door jam is full of gouges, paint drips on painted cabinets and baseboards, missing caulk between baseboards and floors in random rooms/areas, paint drips on floor, missed painting spots on doors, flaking paint on doors, missing seals on garage doors, uneven/missing wall texture, barcodes showing through on the edges of wall tile, dirty floors with sticky substance throughout (tile & wood). Overall impression is very poor/sloppy craftsmanship. Most of the items listed above were noted during pre-close walkthrough. Most items were not fixed before closing. Even after closing contractors come to the house and state they are here to fix painting, but they have no idea what painting they are supposed to fix. We've been in our home for two months and we have once again blue-tapped the house and wait for someone to show up... Whoever Highland has that cleans the homes prior to moving in should be fired. Dirty floors behind almost every door, dirt/construction dust on the top of every high surface, filthy windows. While we love our neighborhood, our floor plan, and our selections we very disappointed in the execution of how these selections were installed. ... More
